I also called my bank and they confirmed that the payment was processed on the day of purchase, I have the auth number. I called twice to try to resolve but no answer, waiting for a call back but have put my review up here as you seem to respond to bad reviews quicker than you do customers, although those responses seem to be false and said just to try and appear more competent than you are.

So my fiancé was working in Germany for a few months and due to my own work commitments I was unable to join him, but thanks to britishonlinesupermarket I was able to send a few goodies from home I knew he would be missing to let him know I was thinking of him. Just wanted to say thanks to the team for getting his favourite choccies and nibbles to him quickly and at a fair price! Will definitely be sending more nibbles from home next time he’s away!

Having lived in Florida for a while it’s nice to be able to get some English treats at a reasonable price! My deliveries always come well packaged and never had a problem with expiration dates. Have used this company for years and will continue for many more, they’re just the best at what they do!

UPDATE. THE BRITISH ONLINE SUPERMARKET IS NOW BLATANTLY LYING ABOUT MY INTERACTION WITH THEM. I WAS NEVER ABUSIVE AND WE BOTH HAVE ALL CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN US. I NEVER SPOKE TO ANYONE. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING BEHAVIOUR! PLEASE DON'T JUST READ MY REVIEW. THEY HAVE ESCALATED THIS SITUATION, RATHER THAN FOCUSING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE ONE ACTUAL QUOTE THEY HAVE USED OF MINE, I STILL STAND BY. I WILL MAKE OTHER CONSUMERS AWARE OF THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS! THE ONLY MISTAKE I MADE WAS NOT INCLUDING FDA APPROVAL, WHICH WAS NEVER ASKED FOR (APART FROM BURIED IN THE TERMS & CONDITIONS).

ORIGINAL REVIEW....

I'm going to try and be as accurate as I can with this review as the British Online Supermarket has already threatened me with solicitors and legal costs! (Due to the fact i emailed them saying I was going to make everyone aware of their terms and conditions).

Here goes....My family was in Boston for 17 days and a few days in we realised we didn't have sufficient baby milk to last us the duration. Our 10 month old baby had reacted badly to other brands previously so we decided to use British Online Supermarket to order some more. I knew that the milk would be quite a lot more expensive and that the shipping cost would be high, and it was. We ordered 12 mini pre made bottles (200ml) and chose Fed Ex International Shipping for a total of approx £60. This was not the problem.

I chose the specific shipping method as in the reviews it was meant to be the quickest (usually 1 day, but no more than 3). Our hotel also had a fed ex business centre so they definitely would receive the parcel.

We ordered on the 18th and I had not received any update so on the 23rd emailed the company with my concerns. On the 27th I got a response saying it was about to ship by DHL (which I did not choose). I responded saying it would be too late as the milk would then arrive most likely on our last day. They then proceeded to ship anyway and I recieved an estimated delivery date that would be after we left.

Obviously, I wasn't happy with paying £60 for some milk that we would not receive. I wrote a disappointed email to them to say that 9 days was not acceptable for "preparing" my order and it is unacceptable to hide this important fact in their terms and conditions. I also wasn't happy that they changed the shipping carrier without asking.

Anyway, long story short. If you want to use this company, be aware of the following:

1) Although a customer might pay for next day shipping, the shipping might not initiate for 10 days, IF the items are in stock.
2) Although a customer might choose and pay for a specific shipping method (within the options the website offers), this company can change it without asking.
3) The customer is responsible for providing all relevant FDA clearance documentation. If the customer fails to do so, there could be significant delays (when using FedEx International Priority to ship goods from the UK to the USA for example). This is ridiculous! When I placed the order, this was not stated (unless you opened and read ALL OF the terms and conditions) and who knows how to do this?
4) This company does not respond to emails over the weekend.

This was a horrible experience. I gave them every opportunity to do the right thing and all I got was a passive aggressive email threatening legal action. I don't understand how a company like this can exist. My wife was stressed and it all but ruined the remainder of our trip. Our baby reacted poorly and this could have all been easily avoided if our milk was shipped within a reasonable time frame. This company needs to make the key information part of the main order process and not hide them in their terms and conditions.

I ordered pre-made formula for my sons hospital stay and paid for express shipping. I never received a shipping notice so I emailed the company and they told me that it was being put together today. It’s been two weeks since I ordered. I’m very upset and would never recommend this company. At this point I’ll just be happy if it shows up. I will be using Dutch expat from now on.

Utter rubbish, it took 13 days to gather my order and nearly a week in transit from England thru Holland via Germany and through Denmark, items bought had a very short self life, usually crisps, biscuits and crackers have a couple of months life, but what I received had less than a MONTH, you really should check those sell by dates before shipping as some of us buy to stock pantry, or maybe it's all down to knock offs in Tescos, saving you lot a fortune while the rest of us have to cough up for comfort food.... I wouldn't touch you lot with a barge pole in the future.... stay away folks, you will get ripped off for time, money and energy
