Tried this in a Tubelab TSE-II with 300b. With 20hrs run in sounds as good as the RCA that was in there earlier.

Very good Brimar Thermionic ECC83 valve
Very good valve installed on a headamplifier. The sound is amazingly musical, involving, just clear as epected, I would better say it as balanced as well. It replace 2 other tries I did with 2 other valves at the same price (20Euros).
The contact with Brimar Thermionic was very responsive and quick delivery.
My first purchase on this website, I recommend it and wish success to the renovating Brimar's project.

Very Impressed
I purchased 6 Brimar 12au7 valves to use in my PrimLuna valve amplifiers.
I am very impressed with the sound I have, in fact it exceeded my expectations. As I purchased new valves, rather than ‘shopping around’ for NOS valves, and paying a high premium for the privilege, I was somewhat apprehensive at first, but after some ‘burn-in’ time they sound fabulous.
Not only are the valves e cellent but the service from Brimar Thermionics was faultless.
I am a very happy customer.

Great sounding 6SN7GT triodes
Bought a pair of 6SN7GT triodes from Brimar as I loved the idea of knowledgable experts seeking to recreate a product range that was superb in its heyday. The prices are fair and I'm more than impressed with the sound these valves allow.
Later this year, when the lockdown is ended and I've checked that I'm still solvent :-), I'm going to order the Buchanan amplifier.

I'm fully satisfied with the EL 34 I've been using for a few months : very good tubes , the best of all contemporary tubes I've ever tried...
As far as the( very recently tested) ECC82 and ECC83 are concerned ,the latter is pleasant but a bit too soft to my taste and one of the ECC82 broke down after a few hours of use...So I can't say much about them .

Thank you Robert for your review. I am sorry to hear that one of the ECC82s has failed. It is covered by our warranty and I am currently arranging to have another one shipped to you. The nice thing about valves is that they all have their own flavour and so choices are very personal. Just for your info, we have a new 12AX7 which unfortunately is a bit delayed by the lock down which may be more to your liking. Stay safe - Bob
