Hi Thomas,
Your order was unfortunate to have been placed just before the Easter bank holiday weekend, which made it impossible for us to get you this item any more quickly than the next working day, which was the following Tuesday.
As stated on our website, orders late in the afternoon cannot be sent the same day because the courier has already picked up. Therefore we sent your order the next day which was Thursday. The courier would have delivered to you the following working day, which was on Tuesday. We trust you received the item then.
We can only apologise that you were disappointed however we did everything in our power to get you your item as soon as it was possible.
With best regards,
Breaking Free
Altberg Walking Boots
I was anxious to replace my old walking boots with the same make - Altberg - as they had proved so comfortable but tough & long wearing. Breaking Free was the nearest supplier and provided an excellent service which exceeded my expectations! I will have no hesitation in using them again or in recommending them to my friends.

Support and visit this business!
If you live near Farnham then I strongly recommend visiting the shop. I bought a pair of Meindl Litepeak from the shop today. Amazing service from the owners who are very friendly and knowledgable of their products. Pricing in the shop is comparable to anywhere on the internet and you get good old face to face service with a smile. A very happy customer, thank you to you both😀

Great service
I'm always a bit wary of ordering from a website I haven't heard of before but with Breaking Free there was no need to worry. I was very impressed with the ordering process, prices, their communication, the speed of delivery (and the fact they use a decent delivery company - DPD) and their packaging. Added bonus that they're an independently-owned shop. Would definitely use them again.
