In my personal opinion, waste of money. Did the Accounting course which is only a Sage50 certificate (for almost £1k), had to chase for everything with multiple emails including for the work experience. When I finally got in contact with the work experience company they said I need a Xero certificate, so spent more time doing that. Even with the work experience company I had to chase the person multiple times to get something to do. The best thing about doing this is that it made me realise I want to do anything else except this. So again, in my personal opinion, waste of money.

Lovely staff, all very kind and friendly over the phone. My course advisor, Hodan, was extremely lovely.

Course itself was great, easy to follow and informative, however I wish the work placement was a bit more interactive. I understand it is a pandemic and we are being asked to WFH, however it would have been nice to have some zoom/ phone meetings.

My experience with Bradstone Allington is a mixed opinion but I will break down in detail why I have put a one star. I will start with the pros! The accountant course was actually good quality and beneficial, learning the softwares was useful however it is not the easiest to install on a Mac computer! The work placement was useful because I needed experience, however this is really difficult when you can't always afford to travel into central London, I rather just work from home full time! My careers adviser Michael was friendly and helpful but the frustrating issues with technical problems he was unable to help. The price of the course seems a little expensive but I understand the value of what you can gain from the programme but for a poor unemployed student like myself it was a struggle getting the funds. Bradstone Allington should offer more support for students with funding. I did get the job but only got 21k a year starting salary when I was informed the salary would be 25k a year. The main issue I have is the transparency of certain procedures especially when you're spending 1500. My advice: make sure you have the funds to pay for this course or Bradstone Allington will have debt collectors chasing you down which was a horrible experience for being unemployed at the time. I would gave this review 3 stars but based on been put in fear from the debt collectors I have rated this 1 star

Although they are a good company, there are still failures, which are 1. Price, 2 work experience should be paid, there are companies out there that will give internship/graduate paid, unpaid internships should be against the law, providing work that benefits a company should at least in some way you should be compensated, interns should be classed as workers, if a volunteer then unpaid, or if in case a worker they should be paid at least minimum wage

Average course, exams were hard to pass, however placement made up for it all as I gathered valuable experience in accounting firm and am feeling very happy with my CV now. Thanks!

I can’t stress how vital it is that you avoid this company.

During the pandemic, I applied for a job where Bradstone Allington then got in touch with me, saying I didn’t have the relevant experience for the job.

They then sold me an experience, an online training course followed by a guaranteed 3 month work placement with a legal company. I thought this was brilliant, and despite the high fees (over £1000), I was willing to try it.

How wrong I could be.

They provided me with a course to complete, with very little guidance, and had to wait days for a response for my tutor. Upon finishing the learning, you had to do a final exam. I would have to wait 8 weeks until I could complete this due to a waiting list, despite it just being access to an online multiple choice questionnaire. Of course, for a fee, I was able to “fast-track” this, and bring the exam forward.

After I passed, and having shelled out over £1500,I got a placement with a company. This placement, consisted of ONE piece of work a week, which took me less than 20 minutes a time to complete, and was more like an exam than work experience. Furthermore, it was entirely online and no real world experience.

When the nature of the “work placement” came about, I spoke to Bradstone Allington, who said they made no promises, and would not be refunding ANY amount, regardless of the quality of course.

Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, this company preys on you when you are at your most desperate, and I basically paid £1500, for a qualification that holds no standing, and NO REAL WORK EXPERIENCE.

PLEASE. AVOID. THIS. COMPANY.

Top quality training and placement provider! Most beneficial 12 weeks of my life throughout the pandemic, the buy now pay later scheme was also a bonus!

* Overpriced, plenty of other FREE options out there if you’re wanting to gain experience/skills. Do your research better than I did.
* Staff - one of the poorest customer services I’ve ever received. When you ring up, the staff answering seem like they have no idea what’s going on. Also, emailing with issues either received no response at all or a response that’s 1-2 weeks later (which I have seen they chalked up to furloughing staff) take from that what you will.
* HOWEVER, the only time staff DO reply quickly and I mean same-day basis, is when there is money involved. Again, take from that what you will.
* You are “recruited” by a representative who sells the whole thing really well and told me she would be there every step of the way with whatever query or issue I had. When I emailed her with the issues I had began having with the course - including a lot of typing errors that looked like the course material hadn’t been checked at ALL before it was published - she didn’t respond. Hmmmm... good customer service! If this is going to be chalked due to furlough staff, maybe don’t take on more customers than you can handle.
* The tutor I was given didn’t help me in any way I asked, nor do I feel like there was any friendliness, warmth or good customer service whatsoever. Also, you have to ask about your exam results. You have to literally jog the memories of peoples whose job it is to tell you about your results. I’ve seen this complaint before and didn’t realise how undermining it feels when you’re the PAYING customer.
* To conclude, I have never EVER left a bad review before, because usually I can see what the business was trying to do and can sympathise with the situation. For Bradstone Allington, I believe it’s lack of trained staff, POOR customer service and completely overpriced. My advice would be to seriously avoid. Again, if you want to gain skills & experience then PLEASE do your research as there are so many FREE online courses nowadays - shortly after leaving this programme, I joined a course that gives industry level marketing knowledge to woman all over the country (completely FREE, and unfortunately I can't name the programme due to Bradstone flagging it as promotional). Everyone was treated with the respect they deserve, and I secured employment at the end. Absolute breath of fresh air: Bradstone Allington could take a LOT of pointers. I understand they’re a business so they’re trying to gain sales, Ofcourse, but they’re too obvious with it - staff treating you as if you are only worth replying to/DEALING with if you are coughing up money. If this a service aimed at young people and graduates then they seriously need to up their customer services, as I don’t know how many of my friends would like to be treated the way I was.
* Also based on past negative reviews, it seems they haven’t taken anything on board and instead stated it was “unfair” - this is not a customer-centric business guys.

Update: before cancelling my subscription, I contacted your help centre and informed them of my poor experience, to which I was met with “you are too far into the course for you to receive any compensation”. So, I’m not sure what sort of ‘solution’ can be achieved by you knowing my details, other than as a form of harassment. I’ve given the relevant details to Trustpilot, who have confirmed my attendance with your service and verified my review.

I don’t want anything more from your company, only for you to take my review on board and not treat others how I was treated.

Top education provider! Began the course as a beginner and I’ve finished feeling like an expert. Recommended to all beginners :)

Check on reddit if you don't believe me. I spent over a thousand pounds for a course that it looks like it's copied from somewhere else with videos that do not belong to the section that you are studying. The exam is partially made with wrong answers to make you fail and pay the fee to reattempt it. The "internship" they promise is made with a company that will communicate to you via email every two weeks, you won't do any interview as they say during the cold call, and consist in to convert pdf documents to excel. Plus, the tutor make you wait weeks to answer while the course is available for you for just 3 months. Again stay away from this company and invest money in a professional one that really teach you something.

Good course, I am happy they let me join from Delhi. I hope to gain an accounting job when I am finished.

Happy I joined, was unsure at first because a friend told me I shouldn’t have to pay for training to get into a job, which is ironic because he was in University.

5 months later he’s now graduated and can’t get a job and I’ve landed a trainee role. Just goes to show you really have to take a chance.

The Paralegal programme was a fantastic opportunity for me as a recent LLM graduate. After completing the CPD training, I was placed on a three month work placement. During my internship I assisted with document handling, facilitating notarial services and the legalisation of documents in liaison with the FCDO. After the internship, I was offered the opportunity to join the firm full time as a Paralegal! I cannot thank Bradstone Allington enough for helping me start my legal career and would recommend it to any recent law graduate.

Extremely disappointed, they put me into an entry level accounting role with a starting salary lower than what they promised! If you cant keep the salary the same you should not advertise it!!

The legal training at Bradstone Allington with the work experience is excellent however very difficult! I do like a challenge and during my work placement was often pushed to complete tasks within a short space of time, I had to travel around London to complete assignments for the law firm which I was not keen to do but I am happy I did as it has opened up a position for me in the company. For the fee paid the the training scheme, in my opinion, is a bargain, if you join just make sure you are prepared for the work load they give you.

I would not recommend this company to anyone whatsoever. I suggest everyone to do their research beforehand.
