Gotta do what you gotta do they're there to do a job. - had a hmrc bill I missed went through to the the lady on the other end of the phone was lovley really helpful calm and considerate ngl wasnt what expected after looking at reviews but tbh if you owe money it's your responsibility to pay it

Used to be bpo collections chased me 5-6 year go for a debt i didnt owe tesco's words not mine appeared at my house one day threatened to put me through a window and went away until they emailed last week asking for a sky bill i dont owe a sky so just block them needs be ring police if they arrive at the house because they will get violent

I like many on here have been hit with a HMRC collection from god knows when. Spoke to HMRC and they confirmed I owe nothing, so like everyone else where do these companies get these details from ?
There’s is a GDPR breach somewhere and my personal details appear to be getting leaked

Awful company to deal with. Paid my debt off in full and requested a letter stating I have paid in full and the account is settled. They claimed the account isn’t dealt with by them no more. They also sent me another customer’s personal account information. So I’ll do what I’ll do with that information and contact the company they have given me and prove them wrong that they are giving customers personal information out. Hopefully they go bust no customer service seems like they don’t like doing any admin work.

I am in dispute with the bill of £299.23 which Virgin Media you claim I owe! Virgin Media is fully aware that I ended our contract due to their appalling, disgraceful, unforgivable behaviour and lack of respect, for which I have collected the evidence and not forgetting their sickening handling of my many complaints, which they simply brushed under the carpet. Hence, their complaint system is biased and not fit for purpose. Virgin Media was given many chances to mend their ways, were given chances to put things right, but they continued to let me down. Many times while trying to raise my complaints, Virgin Media Agents would deliberately prolong difficulties, keeping me on hold for well over an hour, only to then hang up on my calls! Clearly I was not getting what I was paying for and Virgin Media clearly breached our contract, and as a direct result of their behaviour; I had legal and valid reasons to cancel the contract. Virgin Media then sent me a bill for the sum of £299.23 for early termination of the contract, which I obviously disagree with and dispute. In fact, I believe that it is Virgin Media who owes me money for the despicable, unfair, alarming, distressing and inconvenient experiences they have caused. At all times, Virgin Media were/are fully aware that I am registered as vulnerable. Despite all said, THEY HAVE NOW SENT THIS FRAUDULENT DEBT TO BPO COLLECTIONS, who also seem to call themselves as UB COLLECTIONS.

Via recorded delivery, I wrote to BPO Collections saying: ‘I have done a search for BPO Collections Limited and seen the disturbing and sickening reviews that your customers have made against you, which have bearings on my case. Therefore, as a direct result of those reviews, I will have nothing to do with you whatsoever and now that you are aware that I refuse to deal with you, the harassment and other acts do not/and will not protect you! BPO Collections Limited is advised and warned that any further correspondence from them in relation to this matter will not be tolerated, and will most definitely be reported to your regulators, MPs, Media, the Police and others. Despite the involvement of BPO Collections Limited, I will not be intimidated to pay what I do not owe. I will not be paying BPO Collections or your Client, Virgin Media, a penny in the future. If you feel you have a case, then you should send this matter to Swansea County Court, where I will be happy to attend, and that is where I will counter-claim against Virgin Media for all costs, which will include KC Barrister, legal other costs, compensations. Furthermore, should Virgin Media or BPO Collections report this case to the credit reference agency, the resulting impact on my credit report file, legal action and complaints would most definitely commence against you! Intentionally or not, your unwanted communications are causing great inconveniences and more!’

Very clearly a scam company otherwise I wouldn't be listed here as UB COLLECTIONS they would be BPO collections keep ringing me about a sky account I've never had at an address I've never lived at cease and desist letter sent and ignored

The scammers need to get a real job and stop asking for money when you don't have the original credit agreement under the bill and exchange act 1882 section 21 sees and dismissed

Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful company that should not even be in existence threatened my wife with bailiffs for a tax return from 12 years ago scumbags she had to contact hmrc who said she owes nothing where do these people get there information from

Recieved numerous very official HMRC letters and then bombarded by calls and texts from BPOPAY saying I owe £357.42. I called HMRC (from .gov.uk website) and they have confirmed there is nothing outstanding on my account with them. Scam!

My wife has received 5 letters from BPO collections demanding £677.00 for a Sky Mobile account. She has never held a SKY MOBILE account, therefore never paid for one, so they are trying to scam some money from her.

I called them to ask them to stop sending me mails about some unpaid debt 1-2 times a day. Probably won't work and they refused to confirm how exactly they got my number. Mailed them many times to ask them to stop.

Received a text message from this lot saying I owe sky mobile £302 , I’ve never had sky mobile always been 02 and always up to date with them , so needless to say I won’t be intimidated by this scamming company and I don’t give a shit bout text or emails from them all ignored deleted n blocked!!! Received letter, email, text message from bpo, they called everything for an imagined debt to Virgin Media of £84. I closed the account (spoke to VM on the phone, announced in the app that I was closing the account, etc) at the beginning of May, these scammers are now besieging me in October. I have blocked everything, and calls and emails, everything. Damn morons, avoid them at all costs!

I recently received a test message from BPo Collection, despite having no debts or any prior relationship with them. This is not only confusing but also concerning. I believe this could be an error or a case of mistaken identity.

I keep getting texts for someone's debts. I have had over eight texts which I have blocked as it has nothing to do with myself. Please take my number off your database. You have caused a detrimental effect on my mental health. You're bullys. I do not know the person who you are after.

Be aware of these scammers. They keep harassing me regarding a debt for HFC bank which was 24 years old the company doesn't even exist anymore whats more this debt was statute barred 18 years ago. I have only had my phone number for a few years so how did they get it? They are obviously seeking it. I phoned them today and told them not to phone or communicate with me and removed my details if so I will be putting in an harassment complaint I have already complained to the financial ombudsman and waiting for a reply. Don't be bullied by this outfit. They prey on vonurable people if you received any correspondence by these seek advice.

Virgin media saying that I owe them £85. Good luck getting that out of me. Not my fault you have foreigners working there that don't know how to do their job properly despite the amount of times I've had to call up and correct them. And now got BPO on my back. If I have to come up to Glasgow myself and deal with this face to face I will do. Yes bpo. I know exactly where your located. DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY

Letter received from BPO Collections demanding money on behalf of Sky, complete scam

Scam, offered 30% discount to pay off an energy bill. Paid it and the 30% amount was passed on to a different debt company to pay off. So scammed me to trust Il save 30% of the total sum if i paid the same day.
