Bose have just stopped me listening to my radio I paid a lot of money for SoundTouch 10 and now they don’t allow it to stream Radio so the six Preset buttons are useless. I’m going to burn it and never buy another Bose again. I strongly recommend nobody else buy one

Shipped to wrong address, no replacement, just 'investigation'

Shipped to wrong address, then opened an investigation, two weeks later still ongoing, said they could ship again but refused to use same address, gave them an alternative, they could not understand the address, demanded a refund which takes up to two weeks, so six weeks from order to refund, utter shambles. Any 'real' business would apologise and reship immediately, then they can do whatever they like with their investigation and take as long as they like. Wish I had never dealt with them.DO NOT USE BOSE.

My soundlink is fantastic still sounds great .
I have replaced the battery twice, which is easy .
One new charger
Great build quality
Its a little temperamental when connecting but thats old tech for you.
I would definitely buy BOSE again

The new LIFESTYLE SPEAKERS

The new LIFESTYLE SPEAKERS - that have only recently launched are faulty!! They know this and are still selling them which is against the consumer rights act 2015. I spent 4 hours on chat 💬 trying to reason with them and informing them they are breaking the law! This is one of the descriptions from an employee Ralph at Bose “ completely understand that they were working perfectly just yesterday, which makes this so frustrating. That sudden change is exactly why our developers are actively investigating. The recent software issue has caused the syncing to become highly inconsistent, and that is precisely what they are working to fix right now.”

So considering a pair of the speakers cost £700 and THEY KNOWINGLY ARE SELLING THEM WHEN THEY ARE FAULTY BEWARE!!

I have lots of products from Bose and always thought they were an excellent company. Terrible customer service and support. They just want to make money and no longer care about their customers.

I will add that initially before they stopped working they sounded great and I got the driftwood colour which again looks great but as they now sound awful when they do work due to the fault - they are just useless expensive ornaments!

I upgraded my Bose 300 soundbar to a Bose 500 soundbar back in 2021 but the sound kept cutting out when you turned up the volume. I contacted Bose who advised me to pay £175 to repair it and was advised that it had to be sent off to Poland for repair and informed it would take 4 weeks.
6 weeks later my Bose soundbar returned from holiday not in the packaging it went with. I eagerly unpacked it to test it. After two hours of trying to connect it to the internet, the 500 base unit and two speakers it was ready. I turned up the music to listen to my favourite tunes only for it to cut out.
I immediately contacted Bose in the Philippines and spoke to a call handler we agreed to try a new adaptIQ headset to see if that was the problem and that if it did not work they would refund me £175 repair fee and would also send out a replacement Bose 500 soundbar. I tried the headset when it arrived but the soundbar again cut out during the set up, I therefore called Bose again and informed them that it did not work and informed the agent of my previous phone call regarding the replacement soundbar.
They stated that would refund me the £175, but denied saying they would send me a replacement soundbar
Aww I thought listen to the phone call as you can clearly hear yourself tell me five times that you were going to replace the soundbar. That didn’t happen I was told, I said can you send me a copy of the telephone call as you clearly said it. I was told No due to data protection.
Shame on you Bose for not telling the truth. Still waiting on the £175 refund and no nearer to getting my soundbar fixed.
If I could score Bose a “0” I would have. No reply from Bose yet

Not the company they used to be.

Purchased 2 items online with a delivery date of June 19th. Only one item was dispatched according to the email and invoice I received. As they were both birthday gifts, I immediately called them to query this but was assured both items had been dispatched.
Guess what? Only one arrived. Called them back to be told the item was not shipped as they did in fact have zero stock according to their inventory. When I asked for a refund, I was told the item was waiting to be dispatched. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!
Still haven’t received the second item. Will I ever receive it? Who knows.

My bose headphones quiet comfort…

My bose headphones quiet comfort started to have issue with microphone after 1 year. I called customer service and after troubleshooting they admitted that I am entitled for replacement as is still under guaranty.
They send me new once after they received my returned broken ones. I opened the box and the inside fabric of headphones was damaged, i could see cables inside each “L”&”R” I call them again and they were very apologetic and offer to send me replacement, another 2 weeks waiting finally received it and the SAME PROBLEM! To make it short it’s been 4 pairs now they keep replacing it and sending me faulty headphones each time!
It is a absolute joke! I am without headphones for nearly 5 months now!
Send emails no reply! Calling customer service and always hear the same story, supervisor is not available, we really sorry we will open investigation etc!
Nothing has been done I feel very disappointed! Headphones cos me nearly £300

Bose completely undermined the SoundTouch ecosystem by shutting down the cloud services that powered many of its core features. One of the main reasons customers invested in SoundTouch was the seamless internet radio experience and the convenience of accessing stations directly from the system. With the shutdown of those services, that functionality has effectively disappeared.

For me, internet radio was not a minor extra feature—it was a key selling point. I paid premium prices for products that were marketed around ease of use and integrated streaming. Removing those capabilities years after purchase feels like a breach of trust.

While the hardware itself continues to function, the overall experience has been significantly diminished. Features that once made SoundTouch stand out are gone, leaving users with a product that no longer delivers the value they originally paid for.
For many loyal customers, the result is disappointing: a once versatile and user-friendly system has been reduced to a fraction of its former capabilities.

Appalling customer service and zero accountability

I returned my headphones via Bose’s own UPS label as part of an exchange programme — meaning Bose controlled the entire logistics process. Since then, I have experienced months of contradictory explanations (the parcel arrived “empty,” then it was “lost,” then a “non-Bose product” was received), failed investigations that were never logged, and the revelation that Bose’s own logistics team missed their courier claim deadline — a failure they now appear to be using against me.

I have proof of drop-off and proof of delivery. I followed every instruction given to me. Yet Bose has repeatedly shifted its position, provided no supporting evidence for any of its claims, and failed to escalate or resolve the matter despite multiple calls.

This is not a minor service failure — it is a complete breakdown in accountability. I have now issued a formal complaint and, if unresolved, will be pursuing this through consumer dispute channels and the small claims process.

If you are considering a Bose exchange or return, be warned: keep records of everything. You may need them.

Scammed out of £400

Bought headphones month ago, they said they sent it but it was denied at customs. Never said it was coming from another country in the first place either.
Moving on, they never tried to fix it and send the headphones. They promised to "refund" the express shipping, never received it to this day after weeks.

Update as writing: they never updated me but processed refund a week ago without letting me know they are not proceeding with the order. Never gave me the decision to decide whether to get the headphones I paid for or get refund, after a whole 6 weeks of being messed about. Honestly the worst website to buy from, better to buy elsewhere than this crap place.

Disappointing

Thank you Bose. As a pensioner, I am really annoyed. Having been a loyal Bose customer for many years, having numerous Bose products. Your decision to stop supporting products, means I have. £800 worth of speakers that I cannot use anymore. After trying to connect them to my WiFi. They are no longer possible to to connect to my WiFi.

You Cannot Trust Bose

You cannot trust Bose. They sell expensive hardware but turn off the service.

Why would anyone buy Bose again?

Bose has demonstrated that they see their hardware as having a sub 10 year lifespan.

Bose = eWaste…

It was Bose decision to kill the cloud service. They could have made the technology available to someone else… They didn’t need to kill the reason people bought their products.

BOSE QC Earbuds

BOSE QC Earbuds - worked for a year and a 3 days so are out of warrenty. Now just flash red/white which when you search is extreamly common - £300 buds thrown away as Bose customer service don't want to know. They will give you a 'discount' on a new set but why would anyone bother? If I'm going to replace them every year then I may as well buy £30 cheap ones from Amazon as these are no better.

Speaker never arrived 3 weeks later still no refund

I ordered one of their portable speakers on 13th May to take on holiday, and paid a premium on postage so it would arrive 2 days later (as advised on their website) before we left. 3 weeks later and it never arrived. The tracking showed after 5 days it was declined by customs and never entered the UK (it was not clear on the website it was being shipped from outside the UK), and was returned to Bose. I followed up as soon as I saw this, and the online chat bot told me a refund was being processed and I could expect it in 3-5 days. A week later and still no refund, a new chat bot told me it takes 10-15 days to show in my bank and should wait until 2nd June. 2nd June came and went and still no refund. I decided to call them and speak to an actual person, who told me the refund hadnt been processed as they had not yet received my return. I told him that I never returned it, the item never made it past customs, and it is not my problem whether they had it back yet or not. it has been 3 weeks and I wanted a confirmation that I would receive my refund by the end of the week. I also told him I wanted confirmation by email that day that the refund had been processed. A day later and still nothing. i contacted the chat bot again, who now told me my refund was processed yesterday and I can expect my money back in 3-5 working days. I'm not holding my breath....

Buy from them if you want but be warned!

We bought a Soundtouch system a few years ago to have wireless music throughout our apartment.
The Soundtouch app has been a nightmare from the begining. We paid a lot of money because we trusted that brand (from reputation and some very good sounding band speakers we heard). So it was a surprise to have to deal with a product which was good - these speakers sound great - but which was made inaccessible half of the time due to an app completely inadequate. They never dud any upgrade of this app in the last 10 years at least.
And it has now become worse!
Bose has stopped The SoundTouch series and all support. Then in May this year they stopped the wifi connection of the speakers with the app, so you can't connect 100% of the time. They say that you can use bluetooth instead .. but no more world radio channels. No more radio at all. And in fact I spent 2 hours trying to connect via bluetooth to no avail.
You can still connect via AUX to your TV or whatever, but this is not the product we paid a heavy price for.
As a summary, I find the attitude of this company very dismissive of his customers, disrespectful and well .. what an horrible business.
We will never buy ANYTHING from Bose again. Bose use to be = Top Quality. It has fallen to = utter rubbish.

Bose have stopped the functionality of the internet speaker. what is the point of selling an internet speaker if you then withdraw support. Bose have destroyed my confidence in them. I have an expensive internet speaker that is now just a Bluetooth speaker.
I will never buy a Bose again.

NEVER will I buy another Bose product

My Bose SoundTouch devices have all stopped working this past weekend. Programmed Radio presets lost (cannot use as a basic radio). All integrations with streaming services gone. Also now ability to multi-play in a group.
Irrespective of the EOL announcement emails (I clearly missed), this is awful.
I've been a Bose snob for years, believing you get what you pay for.
Won't be buying anymore headphones, sound systems, speakers or anything from Bose.
Shockingly disappointed.
