As echoed in Serban's review below, the customer service is terrible. A "dedicated accountant" who either takes 2+ days to reply to a simple email - or ignores your email altogether. AVOID! The app is OK but this company don't care about you.

I'm in the process of closing my company and Boox are charging 3 months notice fees + £96 closure fee. That comes to nearly £400 just to close my company!! Awful service.

There are better accountants out there. I will never recommend Boox to my freelance colleagues again - in fact, I will be actively spreading the word about how terrible they are.

The app is acceptable but the support from accountants is awful (which is an essential part of the contract). They used to be really good, but at this moment they simply don't don't do their job: they don't answer my calls, no reply to my emails. I've even spoke with a supervisor and complained but nothing changed. Luckily, I'm in the process of closing my company and won't need them for long, but think twice before choosing them.
By reading other reviews, I can see that other customers have same issues.

I would definitely recommend BOOX , make my business so easy to handle . They took all the stress out and i can focus to provide quality service . Everytime i need help they help me in so much detail.

I was recommended Boox by a friend who was very pleased with Boox. I did not have a clue where to start and Boox helped me all the way. Friendly and polite staff are a bid asset too. I will recommend anyone who asks who to contact in this line of business. Very happy client !

I have only just joined Boox and found them to be very professional and helpful in getting me going. I have already recommended Boox to friends which they have taken up. Easy going and very helpful on what could have been a very confusing time

The web portal for Boox is excellent for most things, although, it does provide some questionable calculations on the home page dashboard which after 3 years of use have never really added up.

The invoicing system, payment system are all very good, I do find that I struggle to get a reply within an acceptable time frame.

I've had many excuses over the years that they're 'very busy' and I've had many broken promises of when things will be complete.

If you're after a more prompt service I'd look elsewhere as I find waiting months to get something done very frustrating. It wasn't an issue really as they used to be a lot cheaper, but now the price has gone up I'm shopping around.

My photo book was done so professionally that it looked wonderful when I received it after 7 weeks.

I would recommend boox but as they say, we have to be patient! I would use it again!

Nobody has called to show me how to log on to the website and I don't even have the login details yet. My accountant was supposed to call me last week to show me but he didn't call on Wednesday 1pm as agreed and I haven't heard from him since a week ago.
I received a letter from my accountant stating that he has enclosed my login details but there was no login details. It was just the letter and a pen.

I have always been employed by companies and never dealt with invoices and expenses. I have felt guided all along the way and communication has been excellent from the start. The website us easy to use and the app from the app store even easier.

I have no complaints or reservations about boox and would recommend them to anyone.

Having been with boox for about 2 years, I can say that their website portal is good for managing invoices and expenses but communication with the accountants is far from easy. On number of occasions these accountants either do not bother to respond to emails or respond after several days. Simple straightforward thing like getting accountant reference for tenancy takes ages. Overall I am not confident to recommend this accountancy firm.

My expectations of this as a service were far less involved than what has actually been delivered, they have a great 'full service approach' that I really appreciate! Certainly makes life easy to get started as a Limited company. So far so good! They give great practical advice as well in the context of my business. I would definitely recommend Boox.
