Lateral Thinking
We bought the shackle link from boatfittings.co.uk online because of their location. The product is very well made and importantly, for our purpose, it is made from stainless steel.
In this case the usage is the result of a bit of lateral thinking. I use it in conjunction with a four blade Anchor, buried deep in the ground, and a heavy duty sling, rated at several tons, to brace my ten foot Yucca tree in wind gusts above 50 mph.
