Absolutely pathetic attempt at a holiday resort. Nothing is open (Covid is not an excuse). We are talking about open air food establishment. No restaurants open at sensible times on site (6.30 pm clos... Se mer

First and last visit to Bluestone for…
First and last visit to Bluestone for my sons 10th birthday
Old, Tired apartment with ripped sofa and cracked tiles.
Buggies sold out so trying to get out and about with my boy virtually led to tears everytime as the hills are impossible without a buggy and the main facilities are at the top of the park next to the car park but your not allowed cars on site!! but not enough buggies to go around just 20 year old bikes offered as a solution to the problem for £75 a pair that squeal like a pig and useless on the serious inclines of the park
No evening entertainment and a pool that needs a damn good clean.
Nothing for miles around since the closure of Oakwood
Not a smile to be seen from any member of staff
We paid for a 4 day break and left after 2!
Also very limited internet around the majority of the park and only the options of channels 1-3 on the 32 inch tv in your apartment
Avoid at all costs as they won’t care about you and care nothing about customer service
Literally like staying in the terrace at St Fagans and the retro facilities
It was horrible
It was horrible, pool was closed nearly all day but it still was closing at 5 pm. By the time they opened it we only had like 10 minutes. It was awful experience.
Okay, but not 5*
We've come here for 2 years. We come during term time because the holiday prices are extortionate.
We've stayed in the Tenby lodge and this year one of the newer lodges in Merlin Crescent.
Pros:
The staff are always helpful and polite
Lots of activities for younger kids.
Food is nice.
Cons:
Prices for food and essentials are insane. £7.50 for a waffle or crepe. £4 for a hot chocolate.
Buggy prices have risen. The new buggies are nice but pricey.
The new lodges have AWFUL sound proofing. The bedrooms downstairs can hear everything upstairs. Hard to settle kids.
The ensuites have no door? Why! I can lie on my bed and have full view of the shower. There is no privacy.
The sound of rain on the windowsills is very loud. I understand wanting to have accessible lodges but not all bedrooms need to be downstairs. It's a poor design that hinders sleep.
The blue lagoon needs a major refurbishment. It looks so dated and tired.
If I came here outside of term time paying premium prices I would be more frustrated.
Beautiful accommodation but absolutely nothing to do.
Beautiful accommodation. We stayed in a Carniligi Lodge and it was really lovely but unless you have very young children, there is nothing to do here at all. My children are teens. We visited the pool (which needs closing for refurbishment) and other than that really struggled for activities. We ended up leaving the park during the day to visit local towns. Not something we expected to ever do.
Returning customers
We stayed here for 4 nights last June and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty to do for the children (all aged under 7 in our party). The Serendome has activities such as a park, sand play and water play which are all free. Most of the bookable activities were aimed at 8+ so were slightly limited but we discovered the building that has the NRG cafe & a humongous soft play - which was great. Food at the NRG cafe & the bar & grill were nice but the Knights Tavern wasn't overly delicious given the price. It's great that you have the option for a takeaway to be delivered to your lodge. Great for when you have over tired small children!
We made the mistake of not ordering a buggy thinking we would be able to hire one when we arrived but they were fully booked. A long trek around the lodge so I would highly recommend hiring in advance.
The pool is fantastic! So much for the children to do in there. We spent hours in the over two days!
The Lodge itself was ok. The carpets could use some TLC but thats me just being picky!
We've booked to return again this year and have already booked our buggy 😁
I am in the middle of my stay here
I am in the middle of my stay here, some of the facilities are good, such as Blue Lagoon and Serendome, but the accommodation leaves a lot to be improved, The hot water runs out after one bath and one shower, the properties are much too close together, unless you like living on top of your neighbours. Play areas for young kids is poor. You can hire an electric buggy because it is quite hilly, but be warned. As a pedestrian you come second to the fat people in buggies and there are very few walkways solely for pedestrians. Kitchen is poorly equipped. Outside lighting is poor, but I suspect they expect you to hire a buggy to negate their obligation to light paths. So far the restaurants have been ok but service is poor.
Not safe for people with food allergies
Not safe for people with severe food allergies. Despite of multiple checks with staff, the food contained nuts was given. It of course caused narrowing throat and scared of all of us during the dinner. We complained about this severe error, but they didn’t refund the dinner or took any serious actions to us - a few emails saying ‘the system didn’t work this time’. We contacted the council food safety team as this is very unsafe and unprofessional.
Additionally, I should note that’s the accommodation was not updated for ages. The shower room decided by a short curtain from a toilet and the all area was flooded every time we use the shower. When we contacted the maintenance team during the stay, we were told it’s because it’s a wetroom! We asked to have some help
such as additional towels, they did not do anything.
The shower water temperature was not checked and the water was scaling hot when I used it first time. I’m glad it’s not my child. We contacted the maintenance team again to fix it.
Hence, overall we will not recommend others or go back there again. You can see many recent complains here. We thoughts it’s ok but were shocked by the quality of service and it’s really concerning and unsafe.
I’m afraid to say this will be our last…
I’m afraid to say this will be our last stay after nearly 16 years on the trot unfortunately for us you have out priced yourself we stayed in Merlin’s crescent last time and we had a very bad experience with a member of your staff who I think forgot who is paying for her wages never mind we paid over £4500 with out the nights tavern for drinks and meals we can get a holiday in the sun much cheaper we find that it’s an awful amount of money and it’s seems that the park has gone down hill the blue lagoon had problems this time and closed not what we wanted and unfortunately it’s looking very tired now.
We wish you all the best for the future
Do not recommend- Think twice before booking!
Booked in Summer for a break at the beginning of November. There seemed to be lots available for young children and we are celebrating our youngest turning one in the first week of November. However come September I realise there is very little activities to book in November, lots of the activities I could see didn’t seem to be bookable for our dates. I thought I was perhaps early and they would soon be added to the calendar. Come early October, still nothing so I contact them and they advised they flip to a festive schedule at the start of Nov. So unless you want to do Christmas things there really isn’t much for little ones to do after all. I send a email as instructed by them and they said basically nothing can be done. Since then I’ve received a email weeks later to say a large part will also be closed off on our first day due to Christmas prep. So we didn’t book a festive break but here we are in the midst of Christmas celebrations all before bonfire night. Anyway, they finally offered to move the holiday (10 days away from the start of the holiday) despite me making the original complaint weeks back. However this means they hold our funds just shy of £900 and then as a family of 5 we are expected to fund and find a new holiday to start in ten days time. Horrible customer service, had to chase for a reply and management don’t speak on phones. Looks like we are stuck with it. I wouldn’t book again, they don’t care once they have your money and I absolutely feel like they’ve miss sold the holiday. Beware if you hoping to get away from November you will get the Christmas experience if you like it or not. Which means many things won’t be available due to the Christmas set up. You won’t be offered anything for the inconvenience of closures either or for being miss sold. Infact they won’t even speak to you.
Terrible experience. Do not recommend.
I arrived at Bluestone Resort with high expectations having heard reviews as being better than similar places like Center Parcs. The location and resort is indeed quite beautiful. It is clean and all areas we visting are well maintained. But being 6 months pregnant, having severe pelvic pain, running behind a 6 year old uphill and downhill to get anywhere is a huge damper on any fun or relaxation we might have had. The buggies on your resort were sold out, and I was politely told to 'plan better' next time by the staff member at the buggy store. My mum, who's 61 years old, with a knee condition was stuck inside the cottage for most part of the trip. Nowhere on your website, is a buggy recommended as essential for people with physical limitations. This was not mentioned by your client services people either, who had called a month before our departure. The pedicure booked at the spa was a joke. Of the 60 minutes, the girls were chatting with each other for 50. My mum and I were to lie on the uncomfortable spa beds, while the girls complained how they were not able to have the right stools to do the pedicure! I specifically mentioned that I need a massage during the Pedi, and dont care about the nails. This resulted in the last 5 minutes of the hour long pedicure in some version of massage. £160 totally down the drain. The archery my husband booked was abysmal. It was windy, the arrows were shorter than the draw string. The bow and arrows we purchased from your gift shop were of better quality. The main plus of the trip was that my daughter enjoyed all her activities. I would like to give a special thanks to Dylan at the Serendome (Star Catcher activity) who was incredibly patient and encouraging towards my daughter. The Blue Lagoon was enjoyable. All in all, I found the whole experience extremely taxing and very poor value for money. We returned terribly exhausted with a sense of loss having spent our vacation budget on this terrible experience. I'll definitely not be recommending this resort to anyone, and not visting again.
£3310 for a week and only allowed 1 towel. Gross!
£3310 for a week, but they only allow you ONE bath towel for the whole stay.
This is a disgrace.
You'd think that £3310 would pay for the laundry of an extra towel.
No door to the en-suite, and hardly any bedroom storage.
But the towel thing is the nail in the coffin. Money-grabbing beyond. And not sanitary.
We used the towels 15 times over a week

It's ashame the resort itself is great for kids and the blue lagoon swimming pool is lovely.
The mattresses in the accomodation however are so uncomfy that we wouldn't stay again. We are still here and after two nights considering leaving due to the uncomfy mattress...we are in our forties so not usually prone to this but after one night we ache all over backs and hips.
I have tried contacting them 3 times…
I have tried contacting them 3 times over 3 weeks. They promise an answer within 48 hours and I have yet to receive a single reply.
My watch is less than 6 months old and has stopped working. Please don't make the same mistake I did, do not make your purchase here
Shop wisely - This has become an expensive substandard resort…
Bluestone is Rapidly Losing Its Appeal
We have been loyal visitors to Bluestone since it opened in 2008, returning with family and friends at least once a year. Sadly, what was once a fun and affordable getaway has deteriorated into an overpriced, substandard experience.
What used to feel like good value is now an expensive disappointment. For instance, buggy rental has soared to a staggering £130 for a 4 day mid week stay. Not only is the cost excessive, but the buggies themselves are slow, poorly maintained, and often filthy—some even covered in green algae. To make matters worse, access across the resort is now restricted, and Bluestone has introduced a heavy-handed system where minor infractions can result in your buggy being confiscated by staff acting more like enforcers than hosts.
Bluestone also now aggressively pushes unnecessary insurance policies for buggies and guests—clearly a commission driven scheme rather than something of real benefit to visitors.
The decline in service is just as obvious. The once-friendly, cheerful staff have been replaced with people who seem disinterested and disengaged. It’s hard to escape the impression that many of them simply don’t want to be there.
Though Bluestone has tried to expand its facilities, these efforts have not kept pace with the significant increase in guest numbers. There’s still only one store, and shared spaces such as the Blue Lagoon pool are routinely overcrowded. Worse still, the pool complex is visibly run down—missing tiles, mould, and a general air of neglect.
And if you’re wondering about their claim of being a cashless resort, take note: you’ll still need a £1 coin for the pool lockers. Don’t have one? No problem—they’ll gladly charge your credit card £1 for a cheap 20p trolley coin. Unbelievable.
It’s difficult not to conclude that the resort’s steady decline is linked to investors seeking quicker returns at the expense of guest experience. Whatever the cause, Bluestone no longer offers the value, quality, or enjoyment it once did.
It's ok but...
It's ok but...
The pool is so tired and grotty, rust running down, it used to be really lovely, the accommodation is ok "fine" but nothing special for the price
Been before but likely wont return…
Been before but likely wont return again.
Accommodation needs to be supplied with more cleaning supplies like mops and cleaning products.
Carpet coming apart at the seam
Wardrobes falling apart.
Food overpriced and very poor quality. lack of options
how you can justify 6.50 for a bacon sandwich with 2 pieces of bacon and ham egg and chip for 17 pound is beyond me. i understand things need to be marked up but a single bottle of oasis costing 3.30 is a bit excessive.
everything seems tired the bare minimum to keep things going.
rented a golf cart for the week, spent most of the time seeking a charger out and again they all looked to be in disrepair and dirty. you pay 125 for the week and you cant have it until 2pm on the monday and then have to give it back by 10am on the friday

Milano watch not tracking
Bough Milano watch Nov 29. Jan 3 it stopped tracking steps & sleep pattern. Sent 4 emails asking for help, had NO REPLY yet. Not happy
I placed an order and no delivey…
I placed an order reading on website that delivery 2 to 5 days. Then after placing order discovered delivery would be over 2 weeks, I tried to cancel but no reply and watch sent. Then received tracking saying watch was delivered bit I have not received product. Chased up with Bluestone with no reply, chased up with carrier who said to contact local delivery company but I have no info on who that is. So after weeks of chasing my $150.00 I haven't progressed any further. No one wants to help do not buy from here or if you do don't expect help.
