Goong Pao was putrid
We recently ate here for a family birthday, and although many of those who attended had eaten here previously and thought it was fabulous, I have a different opinion!
Starter was OK, I had the Paper Prawns, but I've eaten nicer from the freezer selection at asda. The main meal was utterly disgusting. I absolutely DO NOT recommend the Goong Pao. Yuck - the King Prawn was supposed to be charcoal grilled, yet it was stone cold, when I asked the waitress if something was wrong, she said it was supposed to be like that - well trust me, it shouldn't be! The THREE King Prawns I actually received smelled and tasted like stale fish food, so the fact that I had hardly any food didn't matter because I wasn't going to eat any more of it - it was putrid; and the sweet chilli dip literally came out of a jar, with a small cup size of sticky rice. Boring, bland, utter waste of hard earned cash.
Others' actually did enjoy their food, but I would never eat there ever again. I would never recommend eating there either.
Service was haphazard, room was freezing, water was cold in the bathroom to wash your hands - I was very disappointed with our celebratory meal.
