Garbage service
If there were an option, I would give you zero stars.
We went for passport renewal and visited the center in person. There were a lot of people waiting for their turn, so we chose the premium service and paid around $100–$150 for it. Honestly, it feels like a complete waste of money.
Now it has been three months, and my passport is still not renewed. I have an important interview scheduled, which I’ve already had to reschedule three times because I still don’t have my passport.
When I try to contact you, there is no proper or direct contact number available. You say you will call back within 24 hours, but it has been 10 days and I still haven’t received any call. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing.
We are paying a lot of money for this service, but the experience has been very poor. At this point, it feels like it would have been better to travel back home and renew the passport there instead.

EDIT: Fourth Visit - in spite of now getting the so-called "Premium Lounge", am still getting turned back for various Kafka-esque reasons (provide a "copy" of the blank back page of a certificate). Bottomline is that the work is not getting done here, even Premium Lounge does not feel premium at all!
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Huge line moving at a snail’s pace in a dark building in Winnipeg - only one person at the front desk creating an artificial bottleneck and confirming the impression that the “premium lounge” is the only way to avail services that we are entitled to by law.
Terrible optics for the Indian government to engage this agency for simple matters like passport surrenders that could be handled remotely.

My Passport Surrender application…
My Passport Surrender application returned by BLS Brampton claiming the signature was “not on a white background,” even though it was clearly on a plain white background, properly sized, and within the box. The system accepted the signature at submission, yet it was later rejected without clear explanation, causing unnecessary delays and courier charges. I strongly suggest applicants write directly to the Consulate for approval first and, once approved, send the application to BLS to avoid unnecessary rejection and delay. BLS STAFF IS COLOUR BLIND AND NOT TRAINED TO THE MARK,Sharing this for awareness so others can protect themselves from similar issues.

Pathetic!! Scammers always ask for more money
Pathetic!!! These people are SCAMMERS. They find faults and errors so they can ask you more money. Also all these positive reviews are FAKE. Go experience yourself. I will take this guys to the court. I am disappointed and had very bad experience and have all proofs from many others who have experienced the same thing. Customer service people are of NO HELP as they are also involved in scamming people. Everyone should SUE them. I have many proofs and I am going that route. This is insane and bullshit. Indian consulate will know soon.

I visited BLS Winnipeg to apply for my…
I visited BLS Winnipeg to apply for my OCI card. Unfortunately, I had to visit the office four times because each time they found something new that needed correction on my application. It was frustrating that the issues were not identified during my earlier visits, as I tried my best to ensure everything was completed correctly.
I have heard from others that many applicants eventually end up paying an additional $100 for assistance with filling out the application, regardless of how many times they try on their own. I also tried to complete the process independently, but after multiple visits, I ended up paying the extra $100 to have my application filled out properly.
Another concern is that the checklist on the BLS website is not very clear. Some of the requirements mentioned at the office were not clearly stated online, which caused confusion and additional trips.
That said, Mr. Yatain was very supportive and helpful while completing my application. I appreciate his assistance and professionalism during the process.
