We recently had a wonderful experience with the team at Blacks Sheffield after we had an issue with the pump that came with a Berghaus air tent that we won on a competition website. The pump's PSI warning didn't work and caused an airbeam to blow!

Contacting Blacks central customer service by their website and email was largely unhelpful, and we were advised to go to a store - so we travelled an hour to take the tent in.

On explaining our situation, we initially spoke with a supervisor named Adam, who was compassionate, helpful and understanding of the quandry we faced as not technically being the original purchasers of the tent! He said they would take a look at it to see what the tent needed and then get back to us with any next steps that may be needed - as if it hadn't been repairable it could have gotten complicated.

About a day later, we received a call from a different staff member (whose name I have sadly forgotten) saying that they had sourced a replacement beam and repaired the tent, as well as untwisting a twisted beam that we had never inflated - alongside replacing the pump with one that wasn't defective!

On picking the tent up, all the staff were wonderful and offered lots of helpful advice, along with options for pump upgrades in the future!

All in all, the experience we had at Blacks Sheffield was fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to go there again due to the service we received!

Stevie, the manager advised me how to park in the loading bay when I came to pick up the jacket. Jade served us when we arrived and was extremely helpful, making our shopping experience very satisfying. All in all your staff deserve top marks.
