Absolutely horrible experience! I hired Black Circle Consulting to build a website for my new business, but I deeply regret trusting them. When I expressed dissatisfaction with their product on the very same day I reviewed it, instead of working to address my concerns, they tried to pressure me into accepting it as-is. They even went as far as trying to convince me that their poorly designed and non-functional site was "exactly what I needed."
I tried to compromise, but nothing was good enough for them except me keeping the subpar work and paying the full amount. To make matters worse, they outright threatened me, saying they'd send the unpaid balance to collections if we didn't continue.

What kind of customer service is this?! They even refused to provide me with proper documentation or any breakdown of their work, leaving me feeling trapped and scammed. I ultimately had to hire another company to start from scratch and salvage my business's online presence.

This was not just unprofessional—it felt like outright harassment. Small business owners, especially startups like mine, deserve to be treated with respect, not bullied and strong-armed into accepting shoddy work. Please take these reviews seriously before considering working with Black Circle Consulting. It’s not worth the stress, the wasted money, or the headache.

BUYER BEWARE: I would NEVER recommend Black Circle Consulting or Cheyenne Eady for any project or purchase. This has been the most unprofessional experience I’ve encountered in any creative or business relationship, and if you value your time, money, or sanity, you’ll steer clear. *Update (the unprofessionalism, aggression and threats will continue even after you have asked him not to contact you.") see attached.

To start, Cheyenne has no formal design education or degree, which became glaringly obvious throughout this project. Essentially, you’re signing up to be a crash-test dummy for his DIY YouTube WIX design learning curve. At one point, he even paused work on my consulting site—without warning—to redesign his own site, proudly claiming I had “inspired him.” Truly, what a guy.

Here’s what happened: I contacted Cheyenne on or around 9/9/24 about building a professional main website and three subpages. I answered all his questions and provided the minimal branding assets I had (which he assured me was sufficient). He offered me a quote, and we agreed on a timeline. Deliverables were to be completed by 9/20/24, as outlined in the attached project scope. Mind you, this was a basic WIX site build—templates, no custom coding, and nothing remotely complex.

The first two simpler subpages went relatively smoothly, though the lack of polish was apparent. However, things fell apart when it came to the MAIN consulting site. It became crystal clear this was outside Cheyenne’s skill set. To salvage the project, I hired a second, more experienced designer out of pocket to create a professional site map—something Cheyenne admitted he’d never done before but claimed he could “use as a template” for future work. At this point, I was more invested in getting the project completed than assigning blame, so I handed over the site map and hoped for the best.

That’s when the excuses started rolling in. Week after week, there was a new story: he was ill, there was a storm, he needed groceries, or his “friends were in town.” Weeks turned into months. As of today—12/30/24—we are over THREE MONTHS past the original deadline, and I still have no finished site. I’ve paid 50% of the total cost, yet for the past month, I’ve received absolutely nothing. Then, out of the blue, Cheyenne texted me demanding December’s payment.

My response? “No, buddy—you haven’t even delivered what you promised back in October or November.” His reaction was nothing short of unprofessional: he hijacked my sites and refused to restore them unless I paid the remaining balance in full. Essentially, I was being held hostage over work that was already grossly overdue and incomplete.

Here’s the bottom line: Cheyenne Eady and Black Circle Consulting do not deliver on their promises, lack the expertise to handle even basic web design projects, and resort to strong-arm tactics when confronted. As of now, I’ve received no refunds, no deliverables, and a legal demand letter is being prepared.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. If you value your time, money, or peace of mind, look elsewhere. Cheyenne’s amateur approach, lack of accountability, and outright unethical behavior make Black Circle Consulting a total nightmare.
