We queued in scorching sun at Stevenage railway station for over an hour then two BGCs arrived at once. The bus set off towards Eddfest at Knebworth park 1.5 miles away then turned 180 degrees and drove away, straight into grid-locked traffic. With no aircon, we stood in the bus for another 1.5 hours while it crawled north out of Stevenage, then west to Hitchin, then finally south through lanes to Knebworth Park. AWFUL

We travelled from Leeds to see Harry Styles at Wembley. The coach was very clean and functional with air conditioning. On the way down the driver played Harry Styles and One Direction music which was a lovely touch. The lady driver was very friendly. My husband and son have used Big Green Coach twice before for football games and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Bus no signage - toilet working at first but then just too dirty to use. Driver aware for 5plus hours - did nothing or offered no comfort stops . Driver took wrong route on way home, terrible really plus time delay for us all. . Worse thing in my opinion is that Big Green Coach 'passed on"my comments to the company they use for their brand but didn't ask for any answers to the above and why it was as it was. Therefore I can only be left assuming they're are not interested when it goes wrong or they would demand answers from the companies they use. Did offer ten pounds off next booking but will not be booking with them again.

We had return tickets from Manchester to anfield for the foo fighters. We were only using the return leg as my 14 year old son wanted to be on the barrier so we got the train early morning. After the gig it was easy to find the coach only to find the driver to be an absolute idiot. 1st asked me for a password. Slightly confused I thought I must not have said please or something. So I said please to which he laughed. The someone else came along a said sardines and pilchards. He let them on and said, see! The whole thing felt totally unnecessary. I then explained we hadn't been on the coach on the way to Liverpool. His reply was well I only have 2 spare seats so I can only take you if someone doesn't turn up. I thought he was joking after the stupidity of the password scenario. So I'm here with my wife and son being told I now can't get home. He sent me off to the rep, who in contrast was amazing. She spoke to him and he confirmed no space for us. There was apparently another coach. But that had broken down. The rep was lovely and got us an uber straight back to our hotel in Manchester.
Gave 4 stars as she was great but the driver was pathetic, especially as we were travelling with a teenager.

I used BGC to travel from Swansea to Cardiff for Metallica. Plenty of coaches supplied for departure, and all but one seemed modern (one looked very old, was rusty, I was pleased not to be on that one!). Arrived in plenty of time and not a huge walk to the stadium, was around 15 minutes. We were delayed coming back but absolutely not the fault of BGC- it was the bottleneck of traffic after a huge event, combined with many car drivers blocking roads from being in wrong lane or coming the wrong way on the one ways). The only slight difficulty was finding the BCG vehicles that were going in my direction home, because some were going to different areas, so clear singe for destination would have helped, but no big issue. From this experience I would use them again.

Booked for Harry styles and I thought the service/journey was brilliant and I will be using you in the future. Door to door service excellent!!

Booked for Harry Styles at Wembley. Had to travel from West Cumbria to Manchester to catch the coach, it would have been good if there was a service from maybe Carlisle?
Driver was great informed us along the way of stops etc, toilet on the coach which was a bonus especially as my daughter is pregnant!
Reasonable priced ticket and having the coach parked at Wembley took a lot of stress out of getting away from the venue.

I purchased 2 x tickets for a Harry Styles concert at Wembley 23/06/26 for my daughters.

I also purchased insurance in case of any cancellations.

One of my daughters was too ill to travel the day before the concert.

The other was also not well the day of the concert.

Neither travelled down to London.

One decided she felt better and decided to catch the train as she had missed the coach.

She was refused the return journey as she had "luggage" basically a "small bag" not even a rucksack sack size, smaller, quite smaller.

She had to then sleep on the floor in a friend's room, if this was not an option she would of been REALLY in a bad situation.

I found out, later that I could not obtain a refund due to time restrictions.

You can't predict when you're going to be ill and if you need to cancel then buying and "insurance" should cover that.

Not a great first time experience really.

We had tickets from Taunton to Powderham to see Alanis Morrisette in June. There was a problem on the motorway which delayed the bus which obviously can’t be helped but their customer service was appalling. We waited for 3 hours, were told a replacement bus was being sent and then eventually found out the original bus arrived but picked up from a different location. We were not notified of this change and so missed the bus. I phoned their customer services twice, both times was promised to be phoned back with updates but didn’t hear anything.
By the time we realised the bus was gone it was too late for us to get a train to get there as we would have missed everything including half of Alanis.
I sent emails and didn’t hear anything for a week. They refunded £20 per bus ticket but have refused to respond to my request for compensation for missing the concert.

Easy to book on-line. Very happy to be on air conditioned coach on this really hot day with no hassle drop-off and pick-up close to Blackweir Fields venue, didn't take much longer or cost more than driving and parking. Return departure delayed due to local accident, which was same for everyone and driver kept us fully updated. Would definitely use again for events. Thank you driver, very smooth trip.

I booked the BGC company for take that in Coventry, booking it was easy and i was happy with the price. The pick up location and times were very convenient.
The only negative things were the fact that the coach on the way there was 20 mins late, i had to call them, there were alot of customers waiting for it in the rain for it and the toilet wasn't working on the coach! luckily for us we didn't have that far to travel, but it would have been really bad it we was on a long journey.

We used Big Green Coach to travel to Harry Styles at Wembley on 27th June 2026.

We were very pleased to find the coach was already sat waiting for us 30 minutes before the pick up time in Sharston, Manchester and the coach was Air conditioned in the current heatwave. The journey was comfortable and there were a few stops for refreshments and toilet breaks/stretch your legs.

Arrived at the concert with plenty of time and we were told where the coach would be for return journey and you could leave anything you didn't need on the coach. We were also told not to rush as there would be plenty of time to get back if we stayed until the end.

We left the stadium after the final song at 10:20 and we were on the coach ready for the return at 10:30 - we changed coach for less stops and this was communicated well and the driver ensured we got onto the correct one.

I will most definately use Big Green Coaches again as it took all of the stress of getting there away from us allowing us to have an all around amazing day.

We went from Southampton to Tottenham Coach was 1&1/2 hours late but communication from customer services was good on the day ,the replacement coach was a bus with no toilet or a/c ,such uncomfortable seats ,we still got there with time ,the pick up point wasn’t made clear until we were in stadium and leaving we had no internet to follow maps to pick up point ,when at pick up point it wasn’t clear which coach ( as there was many) we had to fight through crowds to find which coach ,coach back was much better ,the company reimbursed the outward journey so I can’t complain ,although I never got a reason as to why the original coach was cancelled,all in all I would use again as cheap and easy travel

I used the Big Green Coach service to travel to Download as it was convenient and affordable but I will not be using the service again. I travelled to Download Festival on the Friday and could only enjoy 2 sets because of the 3-4 hour delay that was experienced. After emailing in to inform their customer service team and sort out compensation they only offered a refund on the outbound journey and after emailing back and forth a £15 credit towards a future journey. This is disgustingly assumptive and I am still waiting on my response since 25/06/26

Coach was early ( which was great as we were not stood waiting!). After concert the coach was there waiting, with people ensuring we all got on the correct coaches!!

Excellent customer service in response to queries about our tickets to Pulp in August. Asked if we could change our pick up location and this was dealt with really quickly and seamlessly for no extra charge. James dealt with this and married up two queries we had sent from different email addresses which was much appreciated. Thank you.

I'd just like to say a massive "Thanks" to our driver to Eddfest yesterday. We were on the Leicester to Knebworth coach. He was punctual, calm, happy, helpful and above all a very good driver. He honestly did you proud. Unfortunately, as people don't carry real money anymore we couldn't have a collection for him. Please pass on all of our thanks for just being great 🩷

OID - DANGEROUS, UNHYGIENIC, RUDE DRIVERS, MASSIVELY DELAYED AND NO AIRCON

The journey fell significantly below any reasonable standard that passengers should expect from a professional coach operator. The issues encountered were not isolated incidents but a series of failures that caused considerable inconvenience, discomfort, and concern throughout the journey.

To begin with, the coach arrived late, because the drive insisted on having another 30 min break when he had just had a 30 min break 40 mins drive away, resulting in a delayed departure of 1.5hours and ultimately causing us to arrive late for a concert that we had specifically booked travel to attend. This had a direct impact on our plans and significantly diminished our overall experience.

The lack of available customer service was equally disappointing.

In addition, the coach’s air conditioning was not functioning. Given the duration of the journey and the number of passengers onboard, this created an extremely uncomfortable travelling environment.

Most concerning, however, was the conduct of the driver. The standard of driving throughout the journey was nothing short of dangerous! and frequently left passengers feeling uneasy. Furthermore, the driver’s behaviour was highly unprofessional. At one point, he was sleeping with his bare feet on the seat, which is wholly inappropriate for a member of staff responsible for transporting paying customers.

Of even greater concern were the apparent safety issues observed while the coach was in motion. The driver was using earphones and appeared to be manipulating or communicating through them using his hands and mouth whilst driving. Any activity that distracts a driver from maintaining full concentration on the road is unacceptable, particularly when responsible for the safety of a coach full of passengers. This behaviour raised serious concerns regarding passenger safety and should be investigated as a matter of urgency.

The combination of lateness, lack of customer support, inadequate vehicle conditions, poor driving standards, and the driver’s unprofessional and potentially unsafe conduct resulted in a wholly unacceptable experience. We entrusted your company with our transport arrangements and were let down at every stage.

AVOID, THE DRIVER WAS SO DANGEROUS I CAN'T BEGIN TO TELL YOU!

I booked return travel from Wolverhampton to Knebworth for EddFest. The coach made a long haul flight with Ryanair look comfortable; there were two seats on one side of the aisle and three on the other, meaning they were too narrow for anyone other than a 5ft 4in ballet dancer, so they were never going to work for middle-aged metal fans. This was a decision clearly motivated by profit rather than passenger comfort!

Having suffered the discomfort of the journey to Knebworth, it was then needlessly extended by at least an hour, because the driver chose to ignore the signage for event coach parking, instead allowing his sat nav to take us on a magical mystery tour of Knebworth village and the A1(M). If it hadn't been for a chorus of "Left" from the passengers as we approached a roundabout, he would have missed the sign again.

At one point, we were beginning to suspect that the actual coach driver was bound with duct tape in the baggage hold because this imposter fancied a day out driving a coach.

On the return journey, the driver announced that instead of going back to Wolverhampton, where 50% of the passengers had boarded, the bus would terminate at Dudley - the driver was disabused of this notion very quickly!

There was also a service station stop where all passengers were told it was five minutes only to go to the toilet, no queuing for food or drinks, only for the driver to return 15 minutes later and inform everybody that his coffee was nearly ready.

How much of this was down to the Big Green Coach Company and how much was the fault of the coach company itself, I am unsure, but surely BGC is responsible for their sub-contractors, in which case I would advise them never to use this company again.
