They arrived on time and did a great job. They moved my stuff from a dirty shed to a proper storage unit and rearranged what was already in the unit creating space for the rest of my belongings to fit. It was a real relief that they were able to do this. I was dreading a nightmare situation where they left me with my things saying there was no space, but that didn't happen.

This company sent the wrong vehicle, and refused a refund. Unfortunately not a good experience!

BG were great from start to finish. I've never known a group of guys pack up a house as quickly as they did - they grafted hard, were polite and treating our belongings with respect. What more could you want from a removal team?
Would absolutely use BG Removals again, they did a cracking job and I'm very grateful to them for making a stressful move as simple as possible.

We had a two day move from Derbyshire to Somerset the move went really smoothly the crew were fantastic nothing two much trouble they were polite smart will certainly recommend BG removals

Poor customer service. Booked removal service 8 days before we were due to move, within less than 24hrs of booking our move date had changed (due to an unexpected issue in the chain - so out of our control). Explained the issue and asked if we could move the date (appreciating this was 7 days notice) - they refused, and retained the deposit and to rebook would require another £400 deposit - they needed 14 days notice of the cancellation, which of course was impossible.

Really disappointing from a company that promotes itself as ‘reputable’. Sure to say we will be rebooking with another company now.

Avoid unless you can mitigate any unforeseen issues! No option for cancellation/postponement insurance offered.

Shocking. And that's before we got beyond the first few emails. I first gave them all the dates, locations, addresses. But I didn't put it in the correct order. I was asked very bluntly to do it all again. In the correct order, "so it was in the right place". I had already provided pictures of every room. I suggested this was not the company for me "no worries" which is fine, why would I or anyone go near a business that is that rude before the business is won? They didn't want the job, plain and simple, so why not just say so. Go where the customer is respected.

Fantastic service, great price, highly recommend

Appalling treatment on the phone when I asked for a quote for a business removal. I was treated with complete disrespect as a female. I was asked to provide a fully itemised list of goods, which is impossible and very time consuming for a shop with over 4000 products to do. When i asked if they could have a site visit to view the shop was told they didn’t offer this. Was then told they could quote for an 18 tonne lorry, which I’m not familiar with. When I asked for an explanation of how much this could hold the man actual replied “well you’ve just answered that question; it’s 18 tonne”. Based on this initial experience I would never recommend this company.

Made a stressful day much, much worse!!
AVOID.

Booked for 3 day move. Clearly arranged that would pack up on days 1 & 2 and unpack on day 3. Arranged this from the start, crystal clear. End of day 1, they insisted that they HAD to do the unloading on day 2, despite the fact that we had plans to say goodbye with friends that afternoon and also weren’t definitely getting keys until end of day. Then they told us that they would charge us extra if we didn’t get keys within half an hour of them arriving unless my wife agreed to pay them several hundred pounds more as a ‘risk waiver’. They bullied her into agreeing this but at the end I refused to pay. The nerve of them. Unbelievable. This DESPITE the fact that they, THEY, BG Removals, unilaterally changed the goalposts!!!!
They also stopped loading things into the van, pretending they had emptied my shed because one of the brothers told them not to do any more, so left me to have to take rakes, etc to load into the van, not them. At the ‘boss’s say so!!!!

They also charged me an extra £400 ‘because my drive was too long’ so it was extra work for them to load up the vans. I might not have minded this except for the fact that they still managed to load up the vans quicker than the 2 days they were scheduled for and that they still finished ahead of schedule that they were insisting on squeezing it all into a 2-day job instead of 3 because they had other plans for the 3rd day. The nerve of them. I should have never paid them the extra £400!!!

The hired lads were all really sound nice guys, happily tipped them each £50, but the brothers who run the show are real cowboys. Honestly, if you want bad memories of moving day where your removals firm unnecessarily changed agreements and prices to make it more stressful, (knowing that they had you over a barrel because you HAVE to move the days they are there and can’t have anyone else), if you want this torrid experience, then choose BG Removals & Storage. Otherwise choose someone else whose owner managers are more decent to their clients!!!!

After agreeing on a quote, we added 20 removal boxes (£2.50 + VAT each). When we received the boxes, they were USED and partially ripped. The delivery guy from BG Removals told us the boxes are for renting and the £60, which we’ve been asked to pay in cash, is refundable upon returning the boxes.

Nothing mentioned on “used” boxes when we contacted the BG Removals Office and bought them. If we were told they were second hand, we wouldn’t have bought them, certainly not during this time.

When we called the BG Removal Office to clarify and sent them photos of the boxes, the office cancelled the removal and sent the following WhatsApp message: “OK, have a great day. I can confirm your move with us is now cancelled and boxes are sold and non-refundable. We don’t have time to mess around”

We had to get rid of the boxes and to buy another set of new ones, as we didn’t want to put our stuff in used boxes. Additionally, we had to make new arrangements for removal.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with this rude and unprofessional attitude.

We recently used BG Removals to take all our belongings from our old house into storage for 6 weeks and then deliver to our new house.
Every aspect of their service was superb - the arrangements, reliability, care taken with our possessions, plus the speed, care and courteous attitude of all staff. When we had to change the date of delivery at the last minute, this was done without any difficulties.
A good price for an excellent job.

Fantastic team! Turned upon time, had to wait at the other end but nothing was too much for them. Great service would highly recommend them!

An excellent service from start to end! Bash was brilliant and very understanding when the removal dates were changed. His team were professional, efficient and took great care of my belongings. I was looked after and the calm nature of the team helped alleviate my stress over the house move. I would definitely use them again if I ever decide to move again!

Brilliant! Used Bashir and his team to move our entire house from Vale of Belvoir to Devon and so glad we chose them. Professional, customer service was awesome, very quick to get back via WhatsApp to answer any questions.
His brother was the driver and Sher and his team were pleasant, respectful, fast and a pleasure to work with. After being let down by another company, at 48 hours notice BG moved the contents of my business premesis, which included two very heavy and unwieldy pieces of equipment safely and efficiently.
