Brought some mini kiev balls today. Was very excited to enjoy these. Will not be buying again. First bite tastied wierd. The texture was like mash, no filling and the breadcrumbs tastied funny. We actually stopped eating them and had to check if we brought some vegan version. Do not buy these anymore

The new mini kievs are the worst thing they have every done, they taste revolting and whats makes it worse they put price up and less in the packet for a far less superior to the orginal ones from the past. Would never buy again as soon as i bite into one wanted to vomit and rest went in bin, never been so disappointed in my life.

Turkey kievs! I wouldn’t even give 1 star at the minute, my kids have been asking for these for week but we couldn’t find them, found them in new packaging so bought 6 bags. Tasted them last night and they both said they didn’t like them, I thought they were just being fussy and daft. Tried one myself and wow…they taste disgusting! The meat didn’t taste or feel like meat…more like a paste clumped together and really bready and the garlic was really not nice and even if it was, it was barely there, really regret getting so many bags as the pack we used just went into the bin. I don’t know what has happened but we’ve wasted quite a bit of money on something that used to taste so nice but actually I wouldn’t feed my enemy

I purchased the mini kievs on offer! I kid you not - wrong move! My daughter always looked forward to a couple of Kievs on her plate. I gave her 4 and she just about ate 1. Me not realising the recipe had changed my daughter brought it to my attention. It didn’t even settle and later rejected from her system!
Mr Bernard Matthews, I beg you don’t change the recipe of the Turkey drummers otherwise you and my daughter will definitely fall out 100%. You let down the nation on this one!

Honestly, what was their Brand Change team thinking putting these new Turkey Kievs out. Genuinely awful. I tried 2 and binned the bag.
They taste off and the texture is really disgusting. Just going to make my own from now on, I can’t cook but I’ll do a better job than this carnage.

Wow the mini kievs use to be my favourite so we bought the news inea today 30th jan 26 and there fowl how can you sell this rubbish bring back the orininals

What's happened with turkey drummers, I won't be buying them again. They now taste like cardboard. This in no joke. Tasteless vile and brown inside. Not that I expect from Bernard Matthews. We also bought the turkey dinosaurs but have not yet seen if these are the same. Hopefully not!! Sort it out Bernard

Used to love the mini keiv's. Hadn't had them for a while since before the change and recently picked up a few bags. However after trying the new ones it's safe to say I will not be having these again there awful and honestly ide rather eat dog poo then eat those again the rest are going in the bin.

I mean why even change something that ain't broken propper risky move this and unfortunately it's backfired. Just hope they don't ruin the rest of the products they sell.

I dunno what there smoking over there but it ain't good . Just give us our normal mini Kiev's back!.

We had these for dinner today and my dad rarely buys them so I was super excited. I love them. But when I noticed they hadnt burst after cooking and were these cheap round yellow breadcrumb instead of brown and flaky I knew they were disgusting. I quartered one and ate it and they instantly went into the bin. Tasted like eating blended tissue paper with chicken stock. Bring back the old recipe.

I used to be a massive fan of the the mini kievs. I bought some recently and omg, I literally had to spit it out. It was just mush, no flavour and the texture was just grim. You have clearly changed your recipe, cheapened it no doubt, and its gross, won't ever be buying again

Do not like the new turkey kievs at all and neither do my children so disappointed these were a real go to for the whole family !! The meat now tastes cheap and grainy and there is hardly any filling which has very little taste at all

Absolutely awful...💩!! DON'T BUY What was once a family favourite are now something I'll never buy again... very disappointing... the breading is far to thick with little to no filling... The texture and taste are both unbelievably terrible... I'm glad we had a back up plan in the freezer... I personally hate wasting money and food but we couldn't eat them and to add insult to injury I have another bag in the freezer..!! What a shame 👎🏻do better Mr Matthews

"When I tried the new recipe Mini Kievs it tastes grainy, with no crust. The inside is eugh...!"
I myself have eaten these for 30+ years and they have become dry, tasteless, powdery and just cheap tasting.
38% meat despite it accounting for 60%-70% of each sphere is very telling.
I won't be buying them again sadly.... a nostalgic favourite RUINED"

This recipe change is repellent, dry powdery so called 'turkey' with little to no garlic sauce and no flavour. In the bin and never again.

Another person here who hates the new mini Kiev recipe- they are now absolutely vile!
Where is the cheesy garlicky sauce that we all knew and loved?! The sauce that would seep out of the sides of the balls when cooking- there was that much of it! Now there is hardly any sauce inside, they don’t taste the same and the turkey is abysmal! Change. It. Back.

Really disappointing - will not be buying them again!! BM needs to listen to its customers… Had been buying these for years but never again.

New recipe is gross. They used to be the only ones I would eat and I loved the garlic filling. One bite and I knew straight away the recipe had changed, the sauce is now see through and disgusting. Really poor move and won’t be purchasing again

I knew immediately before I but into it the recipe had changed just from the look. But into it to find a mush like texture and a teeny tiny amount of sauce and it was sour?! I’ve loved these since 2004 where I would eat them by the boat load. They have changed the taste before this but this version is the absolute worst!! Bring back the early 2000 version. Until this happens unfortunately Bernard Matthews has lost another customer. In the bin they go!
