We received by post a photograph of our vehicle outside our front door. Apparently, we are to pay for this intrusion. Some kind of levy for parking.

We wish to inform you our vehicle parks on our drive, except of course when it is in use, and this includes such dull things as going out to buy food and such like and bringing this into our home. We also do other ordinary stuff like packing things into our vehicle before a journey.

We take exception to your or affiliated individuals or firms intruding upon our privacy and asking for money. This is no more than begging without a cause and a nuisance.

Take this as notice from us to you to cease and desist this pernicious behaviour. We tolerate no intrusion or hindrance to the ordinary enjoyment of our home and reasonable use of its environs.
Doubtless you will want to share this with senior management.

Anymore notices or other communications demanding money or threat of something will be taken to the police with copy of this complaint. No other communication will be sent to you, or any persons or firms affiliated to you.

Take note and stop this intrusion forthwith.

I have been living in a Berkeley home since January 2019 from a new build and since then my roof has literally been slipping off three times since this date. The first time when we had winds the tiles just slid off. This was within the two year warranty period and Berkeley did arrange for this to be repaired. However, the second time it happened two years later I complained to them as the roof tiles literally just slipped off again and also this time causing a roof leak. To this they replied it was because I was living in a windy area?!! There are far more windy areas around the UK and in particular coastal regions where roofs do not just slip away every time there are some strong winds.
So the third time in 4 years as I write this, loads of roof tiles have literally just slipped off crashing into the back garden and also smashing through my glass garden table. Not only is this causing stress with the cost of repairs if I can’t get this repaired through their Premier Guarantee but the danger to life having roof tiles just flying off as a blessing no one was actually standing there at the time.
Now I wait again for the roof leaks that I only got repaired two years ago with no help at all from Berkeley Homes. The amount of money these houses cost does not reflect the shoddy build and zero customer service once they’ve grabbed your money.

I am base in Thailand and this is my first property in UK. So most of thing are really new to me. So I have a lot of challenge asking my query with Berkeley staff. They are not really willing to give support. For example, I am asking how often we need to do grass cutting. The answer was they are not specialized and they have no involvement with lawn care service.
Really disappointed

This company should not be sold land to EVER!!
Look at the Glass door reviews - the staff are bullied, overworked, understaffed, HSE should be a regular visitor! If someone does not obey, they are fired on the spot - please don't buy their overpriced houses designed for rich overseas clients. Boycott by not buying houses and not selling them land. There are so many better builders.

Nice house with high standard, professional aftersales service and follow up.

Quality of our new home was great. We did find a few issues but those were resolved very promptly and with constant communication.
I am only disappointed with dealing with the management company as getting approvals for external alterations can take quite a bit of time and effort.

Please note - I am reviewing this developer as a tenant, not as a leasholder or freeholder.

I was the first tenant in the flat since the completion and the quality of finish is quite good here. There are a few issues with paint drips on the floor and snagging scratches, but everything else is good.

Concierge team is amazing, premises are kept clean and when the toilet flusher broke, it was fixed quite quickly.
Soundproofing is great (except the door into the corridor)

Berkeley’s Customer Relations Manager did a very good job by updating me closely with the home building status, arranging the new home demonstration and helping me to follow up the snagging list before completion.

Very satisfying experience in buying our flat from St Williams in Fulham - Kings Road’s Park. The flat was completed slightly off schedule but it was delivered exactly as it was described: beautiful, well finished and super clean. Not only the flat but also the buildings, communal areas, sport facilities and gardens: everything was stunningly true to the brochure. Shaan in Customer Services was extremely diligent and helpful in communicating with us for questions and viewings. We would recommend the buying experience as a 100% yes!

My unit at Reading Huntley Wharf is the first property I bought from Berkeley. I find the property so beautiful and amazing in terms of quality and after sale services. In aspect of investment, I find this is a good buy as I successfully let out the unit within 2 weeks after taking possession.

I'm living in one of their developments as a renter and we haven't had water for almost a week because a pipe burst. Their only solution so far has been to provide a tanker of water outside to collect from and 2 (cold!) showers for 300+ people. My partner and I were considering purchasing an apartment in the development we're renting in until this happened..

Good experience from inquire until collect new house. Great team!

As a property developer myself, who has NEVER bought off plan, my experience has been excellent from start to finish. St William/Berkeley have gone above and beyond for me in every way, specifically Sarah Price and Murray King, who have both provided an excellent service and really understood our needs. They were excellent. We love our new home and recommend them in every way!
