Buy this Travel Insurance!!!
I purchased travel insurance for our US trip earlier this year from Travel Protect. The cost was reasonable and had goof coverage. Unfortunately I had to make a claim and I put it off when I returned, thinking it would be a tedious process. It wasn't. I cannot fault the claim process, it was easy and I had an outcome much quicker than I thought. They paid the US hospital direct and I could not be happier. Definitely recommend this insurance for any traveler.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear about the situation and understand how disappointing it must be to have a claim denied - especially when illness disrupts important travel plans.
After reviewing the details of your case, we can confirm that the claim was assessed in accordance with the terms and conditions of your policy. While we appreciate the circumstances, our records indicate that the medical issue leading to the cancellation occurred before the policy’s effective date of April 27, 2025. The documentation provided shows treatment began on April 26, 2025, which unfortunately falls outside the covered period. Per the policy terms, any losses that occur prior to the coverage start date are not eligible for reimbursement.
We recognize that insurance terms can sometimes be complex, and we are always here to walk through the reasoning behind a decision. If you’d like to further discuss the outcome or appeal the decision with additional documentation, our team would be happy to help. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.
