We had used BHI 13 years ago to refit our bathroom and all those years later so impressed were we with the work they had carried out that we called them in to quote for a Kitchen refit. So thorough was there approach in assessing what our requirements were in comparison to other companies we had asked we had no hesitation in placing our trust in BHI again. Our faith was fully justified, we now have our dream kitchen/diner. All our neighbours were impressed with the manner in which they went about their business. I would highly recommend BHI to anyone who asked.

From the very initial contact with Barras right through to the completion of the project we were very impressed. Having a fully itemised quote knowing exactly what the cost will be helps you to budget your project. All their workmen turn up on time & have a good team ethic, as with all projects things do not always go to plan but Barras handle these things very well, keeping the customer informed all the time. I find Barras a totally professional company that I would have no reservations in recommending them to my friends or the public. They transformed our kitchen & bathroom into something way beyond our expectations. We would like to thank all the team for all their hard work.

This is the third large job that we have used BHI for. Lounge, hallway and bathrooms all completed on time and to a high degree of workmanship. Their tradesmen are considerate to your home, turn up on time and quietly and efficiently go about their tasks. All cleaned up on completion. We would highly recommend that you talk to this company before any other.

Over a few years we have had our bathroom remodelled, our cloakroom totally revamped and recently our kitchen designed for the 21 century.
John is a wizard of getting a quart into a pint pot, full of advise but no pressure. James puts all the info into the computer and hay presto you get a 3D plan of how it should look. From the day work commenced to the day of completion the work force were polite and professional, all I had to do was provide tea or coffee. I would like to thank the staff in the show room, John, James and Gary, and also Malcolm, Mathew, Clint, Andy, Steve and Martin who all had a part in Our New Kitchen. I would definitely recommend.

The planning process was painstaking to ensure we got what we needed. During construction there was no 'down time' and the impact on our normal life was kept to a minimum.
Unforeseen issues were dealt with calmly and efficiently and the work was finished on time.

I chose Barras Home Improvement to fit a new kitchen into what was previously an oversized utility room. From the initial visit to the planning and design, I found John, and James to be really friendly and professional. John was particularly patient with us as my husband and I kept on changing our mind about the doors and handles that we wanted. I really wanted to have a gas cooker and John made sure I got one despite the fact that it was difficult to get gas to that part of the house. I must also commend the project manager Gary who kept me updated on progress on the kitchen and who visited the site several times, which gave me peace of mind. The workmen too were brilliant and time conscious particularly Steve who demonstrated a high degree of professionalism and efficiency and who kept the site really clean. I am so proud of my new kitchen and would highly recommend Barras Home Improvements

I recently had a partial kitchen refurbishment by Barras Home Improvements. I am so pleased a friend recommended them.
My old worktop was carefully removed and replaced by a smart and quite heavy Minerva one. No joints visible and no damage done to the existing tiles.
The team of two, worked efficiently and professionally, They were competent and displayed pride in the job. At the end of each day, all was neat and tidy.
I had good advice throughout the process, which gave me confidence. It was a good team effort from start to finish. It started in the office , followed by meticulous measuring and finally work in situe.
With the new sink, taps and the acrylic panelling, my kitchen looks very smart and modern.
I am a very satisfied customer.

Our new kitchen from Barras is excellent. The process starting from drawing up the plans, to ordering, to fitting was all so smooth. The job was done in a very professional manner a we received great customer service from everyone we dealt with, either in the showroom, on the phone or on-site.

They were very patient and flexible when we hit delays with our other tradesmen and offered advice and assistance every wherever they could.

Barras were recommended to us when we were looking for our new kitchen and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

James and the team are incredibly professional and helpful. The service and advice they gave us was second to none, nothing was too much trouble! Needless to say we are delighted with our fabulous new kitchen - thank you Barras.

We had Barras update our bedroom and bathroom 10 years ago and so it was a no brainer about getting them to update the bathroom again. Gary and John discussed our options to ensure we received the bathroom we wanted. We were so confident in them and their guys, that we left them the keys to the house while we went away on a weeks holiday. We returned to find the bathroom almost completed and no dust in the house, everywhere was neat and tidy. We did have one small problem that they fixed very quickly after one phone call. Would have no problem recommending them to our friends and family.

This was the second time we had used Barras Home improvement. In February we had a new kitchen fitted and because of the excellent service from start to finish (all project managed). We decided in April to have a complete renovation of our en suite. Taking out the old (small) shower cubicle and installing a bath size shower cubicle plus toilet and washbasin. Our first choice was to bring back Barras to do the job, again they did not disappoint us and they again did an excellent job. I would recommend them for any project as on both our jobs the customer care given to us was beyond any that we have experienced from other companies. From the 1st project design home visit to the end result, everyone was very friendly yet professional especially Wayne, as he was particularly patient when I kept changing my mind.

We had a complete family bathroom refit and are extremely happy with the finished result. A few minor cosmetic issues were dealt with promptly and hassle free. The fitters left the area tidy at the end of each day and I was more than happy to leave them alone in my property.

We would definitely use Barras Home Improvements again and highly recommend them to others.

We have used several home improvement companies in Coventry, and Barras is undoubtedly one of the very best. At all times we felt that top priority at Barras was customer satisfaction ensured by very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff in the office and showroom, and highly skilled, reliable, honest and efficient tradesmen.

Things happened when scheduled and tradesmen were receptive to suggestions for minor tweaks to the plans. We had no reservations about leaving tradesmen to get on when we went out, and we were most impressed with the efficiency and work rate shown by all those involved with the job.

We used Barras as the result of recommendation by a friend and we would now similarly have no reservations in recommending this great company to anyone contemplating home improvements.

The team were faced with a very difficult and challenging job, due to the angles in my room and the walls not running true. They have managed to tile the room in such a way that they have minimised any wastage of tiles and I am left with a superb job.

The fitters were very friendly, professional and trustworthy and I was happy to leave them in my home when I wasn't there. I even gave them a let to let themselves in and out as required.

The office support, James Spencer was very accommodating, despite me making changes along the way. Nothing was too much trouble and I always felt the most important thing to him was the end result. He always had my best interests at heart.

From the moment we picked up the phone to enquire about a product to months later in provision of an after sales service, the Barras team have been the utmost example of excellent customer service and going that extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. The team are incredibly polite, friendly and knowledgeable, and will always respond quickly and efficiently. I wish we had bought all of our appliances from Barras (unfortunately we had placed orders before we saw the Barras website) as I would not hesitate to go back to them again as I trust they will help resolve any issues or queries I have effectively and efficiently.

Ordered an AEG fridge and freezer from these guys. They beat the best price I could find on the web by a mile......but it didn't end there. Their communications were excellent. The delivery turned up on the quoted day. When I had a follow up query by email they got back to me in minutes. Can't recommend them enough.

Ordered AEG washing machine. Staff were very helpful pre/post sale on the phone and by email. Delivery was organised quickly and product arrived bang on schedule. Excellent prices too and Barras were able to offer a complimentary 5 year warranty. Highly recommended - will definitely shop here again.

Order online went smoothly, prompt communoication confirming order and delivery timescale. Installation cost very reasonable and selected for the integrated fridge/freezer purchased. On day of delivery/instalation received sa confirmatory phone call in the ,morning to check that it was still ok to deliver the fridge/freezer. Installation was done well and old fridge/freezer was removed. Follow up call received the next day after installation to check everything was ok.

Cheapest price I could find online and the service was excellent too. I was kept full informed of the status of my order, which was delivered promptly and arrived well within the time slot I was given. So pleased I have found this company. I will certainly use them again and would definitely recommend them to others.
