The staff in the shop were really friendly and helpful, they took time to make sure I got items that would fit and suit my partner. The range of products was really first class and we were very happy that the items I bought were the very best quality and more importantly, for me, it looked great on her.

Having initially purchased from Brenda at Bare Necessities over 7 years ago I have never been disappointed. I do not live nearby and so order online or over the telephone -my preferred styles, sizes, manufactures are all kept noted down by the staff which is a real plus point. I have visited Bare Necessities in person once and had the best service possible. I would recommend Brenda and her staff to any woman looking for beautiful lingerie with the added assistance of getting the right fitting bra from the great staff!

Buying a bra can be stressful and tedious, but at Bare Necessities it becomes a pleasure! If an item/colour I am looking for is not in stock they will go out of their way to find it. All my questions are answer promptly and my orders arrive on time beautifully wrapped.

I would like to say that as a long standing customer of Bare Necessities I have never been disappointed with any aspect of the shop or staff.
The selection of underwear and swimwear is fantastic and Brenda and Julie couldn't have been more helpful and discreet when I have been trying on any number of sizes and styles!
Also if the size/style isn't in stock at the time I have never had to wait more than a few days for the item to be delivered, with updating phone calls as to progress which is service you just don't get very often these days.
All in all a lovely shop with lovely products and one I highly recommend.

I live in London and have never been to Bare Necessitiies, but I have bought all my underwear from them for several years now. Anything I order is delivered to me the next day and I can try it on at home and return anything I don't want.
Brenda and her team give really outstanding service and advice and, for the most part, everything they send me works out. Nothing is too much trouble and you are always made to feel welcome.

I was introduced to Brenda and her team by a mutual friend, and regret having never visited Bare Necessities before. The skilled experienced assistants know exactly how to make a lady feel good especially when I was told was I wearing the total wrong size of bra! The Bras are expensive but when you have worn them for a while you realise they are an extremely good investment, so much so I have bought every colour in the range I wear! Prior to visiting Bare Necessities I was suffering from shoulder problems and my Physiotherapist told me my posture was not good possibly owing to the type of bra I was currently wearing and encouraged me to be properly measured and fitted. Result much improved posture and shoulder.!

I have been going to Bare Necessities for nearly 25years and I have never been disappointed.
I cannot recommend Brenda's shop, assistants and ranges more highly. The shop has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere as soon as you enter. It's never too much trouble.
The products are not cheap but are very well made and are of the highest quality and therefore they last forever, unlike some other well known brands. Not only do they fit you well they make you feel good too. If you're well dressed on the outside then you should be well dressed on the inside too, and Bare Necessities make sure of that.

I recently purchased a Sunflair swimsuit. The shop staff could not have been more helpful and obliging. There was a tremendous range of products to choose from, all of extremely high quality. I will be back!

I discovered Brenda and staff at Bare Necessities in Melbourne 8 years ago.
I had gone with a good friend to Long Eaton to purchase a wedding outfit for my eldest daughter's wedding. I found a fantastic outfit with a bodice top - my friend announcing that all I needed now was a bra that fitted me!! She drove me straight over to Melbourne and we were greeted by Julie who duly measured me and found me a fantastic bra that enhanced my outfit. I felt a million dollars on my daughter's wedding day knowing that my 'underwear' was perfect. I still have that first bra! - 8 years older but still providing support and shape to my ageing body!
I have subsequently purchased more bra/pant sets which are equally as flattering and due to their construction may be a bit more expensive initially compared to 'good old M&S'!, but outlast them by miles.
I would like to thank Brenda and staff for 'enlightening' me in the underwear department and also most recently with their fantastic swim wear stock. I was amazed at how different I felt with a good fitting bikini - it's been a swimsuit for years!!

Having undergone a mastectomy, I was obviously very nervous about being measured. Julie was very understanding and put me completely at ease. I bought 3 bras and came away confident that I looked the same as I always had! I cannot fault the service or the products.

I was really fed up of wasting money on uncomfortable bras that didn't fit properly .My husband suggested I go to a shop dedicated to providing good lingerie. I visited Bare Necessities. I was looked after the minute I walked in to the shop. Brenda the owner made me feel really comfortable and encouraged me to try on a range of bras to find one that was comfortable and the right fit for me. I really did feel that she wasn't just trying to sell me a bra and that it was important to her that that I looked and felt good. Brenda explained what a good fit should look like, provided me with lots of bras to try on, gave me honest advice on what they looked like and did not rush me. I bought two bras and I will never be visiting any other lingerie department again. I paid more than I ever have done for a bra but it is honestly money we'll spent. I will be buying my lingerie from bare necessities in the future and for sure will be returning soon to buy myself a decent swimming costume as the range if swimwear looked fantastic.
