Bake me a Wish aka Bake me a Disappointment
The Bake me a Wish site says pick your delivery day for the day before you need it and guarantees delivery for that date. I paid extra for shipping and still did not have a cake for my moms birthday party. By the time the cake did arrive with a melted ice pack I didn't even want it anymore. I should have read reviews prior to ordering. Never again.
Update; Bake me a Wish did reach out to me with the option of a store credit, for the cake to be shipped again at no cost to me or a refund. I chose a refund. I was told it would be in my account in three to five days, that email was sent to me weeks ago. I never received a refund. I normally would not have complained or taken a refund, but with a service providing cakes for events, the most important aspect is that the cakes are delivered on time. As you can see from the reviews, cakes are not being delivered on time, this company cares about money not people. My belief is they are charging for expensive "expedited" shipping, using regular shipping, and skimming the shipping money for themselves. I used to work for a publishing company that did this. No refund was received.

Totally Shocked
My Wife and I where so looking forward to these cakes…
I must admit how disappointed I was at how small this cakes were…
these cakes looked like children cake sizes and decorated by my kids.
I was entertaining an adult function not a children’s party!
I paid good money for two tiny messy looking cakes…
I couldn’t put this two tiny cakes out in front of a house full of grown people and be the laughing stock of the entire house.

I was happy to find out that the pie…
I was happy to find out that the pie was delivered next day as requested, although the UPS driver did not bring it to the door but left the box at the bottom of the driveway at the receiver's mailbox...what a fool. Perhaps they couldn't see there was something edible in the box or just didn't want to make the trek up the hill. That's not a strike on your pie, but the delivery person. Although the recipient acknowledged the pie, I don't believe it was eaten bc it apparently is made with seed oils and this person has engaged in the social media campaigns that seed oils are not healthy. That was sad to hear that it wasn't even enjoyed, especially for the price I paid for the pie + delivery. It sounded like it was going to be delicious.

Bake Me A Wish is fantastic. We have used them for several years, for everything from birthday cakes for remote team members, to client gifts, post-surgery 'get well' surprises and more. They've got a wide range of products available (something for everyone) and seem to be one of the few companies that can truly deliver baked goods reliably on an overnight basis. They stand behind their product and we have been very pleased every time. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Avoid at all cost! Tried to use them for my friend's birthday. They never delivered the cake, customer services ignored all my emails and I had to contact them on social media to get through to them. They offered me a refund and discount code for another purchase. They won't take your money but they won't deliver your cake at all - use it only if you don't plan for the cake to be there for a specific date.

My friend was going through a rough patch and stated on her birthday she wanted a german chocolate cake and couldn’t find one anywhere. I googled and yours was the only shop that looked promising. Would not try again
I ordered the chocolate torte cake and paid for the 2nd day Saturday delivery. It showed up the following Monday completely melted and unedible . What I was most surprised about though was how small the cake was! Thank goodness I paid with PayPal and was able to get my money back without the hassle of trying to contact someone in their customer service
