My first few audiobook releases through AuthorsRepublic went smoothly, so I initially had a positive impression. I fully understand that technical standards for audiobook distribution need to be high. However, my last few releases became unnecessarily frustrating and exhausting.

The biggest issue was the increasingly subjective feedback from editors — especially comments about how the narrator pronounced certain words. On top of that, there were highly detailed technical complaints that were difficult or impossible to reproduce on my end, which made the whole process extremely time-consuming and discouraging.

In contrast, I published all of my audiobooks through InAudio using "voices" from InAudio, and the experience there was extremely smooth and professional from start to finish.

Because of these repeated issues, I will no longer use or recommend AuthorsRepublic.

I’ve had an excellent experience working with Author’s Republic. The platform is very professional, efficient, and author-friendly, making the audiobook distribution process clear and well organized from start to finish. Their system makes it easy to manage titles, update files, and distribute to major platforms with confidence.

What truly stands out, however, is their customer service. Heather Armstrong, but especially Melanie Seth, in particular, has been incredibly professional, responsive, and supportive throughout the process. She consistently provided clear guidance, timely assistance, and thoughtful solutions whenever questions or adjustments were needed. Her dedication and professionalism made a significant difference and gave me great confidence in the entire publishing process.

It’s rare to find such a combination of a strong platform and genuinely committed customer support. I highly recommend Author’s Republic to any author or publisher looking for reliable audiobook distribution and outstanding service.

Very Fast customer support and very intuitive Audiobook creation.

Fantastic customer support and very responsive. The website is easy to use and the audio guidelines are easy to follow. I would advise that you have a full audio book ready. I am very impressed with their service.

False claims and no dialogue. I submitted my self-narrated book and went through all kinds of audio editing in order to meet the tech requirements. AR then refused to publish it claiming that the book is done with an AI-voice. I've contacted support twice but can't seem to get an honest conversation about this. I'd definitely warn people from using AR - what a bunch of time wasters....!

Don't waste your time here, they are slow in everything. Publishing an audiobook is slow or impossible for me. Their technical service is almost non-existent. Very amateurish. Try other plattform.
