I was charged $192 Canadian for this "product" that I didn't ever order. They claim I subscribed via auto pay. The same day they charged me, I emailed them to advice that I did not authorize this and request a refund. I asked that they remove any person info. Card info, and any account. They said NO! Then they said they would give me 50% back, I refused I want my full money back. Now they won't answer emails. I would not trust this company with any info.

Excellent customer service. I had accidentally signed up for an annual membership rather than a month-to-month subscription. I reached out and they were able to resolved my issue right away. I received my refund promptly.

I’ve been an Animoto customer for years, though I stopped using it for a while. Recently, I applied a promo code that extended my plan through February 2026. Later, I attempted to subscribe with a different discount code, expecting to see a field to enter it before confirming payment.

Instead, Animoto charged my PayPal immediately without any confirmation prompt. It appears they retained my PayPal details from years ago and processed the payment automatically. To make matters worse, the original promo (valid until Feb 2026) was overwritten and forfeited.

I contacted support, but they refused a refund despite zero usage after the charge. This experience feels misleading and unfair. Be cautious when attempting to apply new discounts—charges may process instantly, and prior promotions can be lost.

I am currently using your software, and I noticed that the maximum export resolution is limited to 1080p. However, I need to export my projects in 4K (2160p).
Could you please let me know if 4K export is supported?
If not, are there any plans to add this feature in the future?

I used this service one time in the past (10 years ago) but in this time I got 2 times information from google that my personal data was found on the Dark Web and stolen from Animoto! Dont trust Animotos Security!

I just made a video about the life of my grandfather as a Christmas gift to my kids and relatives. It was a fun project and very doable. I really like Animoto because they want you to succeed. They even offer personal one on one instruction which I did and found it to be motivating and helpful in navigating the tools to make a video that I am proud of.

Unsure how but someone created an account with my details and they end up with in dark web. Be aware!

Signed up for what I thought was a one-time project. Severall months later, got hit with an auto-renewal charge with no warning email beforehand. The cancellation process is buried in settings, and getting a refund required multiple support emails. The product itself is fine, but the billing practices feel designed to catch people off guard. If you do sign up, set a calendar reminder to cancel before renewal - they won't remind you.

Easy to use platform, and whenever I have a question or issue, the helpdesk is always kind, accurate and quick to respond, Been using Animoto for a few years now :))

This is a great program for making videos--both professional and personal uses. The AI features give me a great start, and I can edit the outcome as desired to achieve exactly what I'm aiming for. Plus the customer service is outstanding!

This service is a waste of your time and money

I signed up in August 2024 for a month trial -just to discover more than a year later that I was charged till now!! No notice or anything (which is illegal since 2024! ) and no refund! beware as I've NEVER encountered this type of fraudulent behavior.

Carolyn was amazing! I was so upset after realizing I inadvertently removed the music for my video and couldn't get it back. Carolyn replied quickly and reinstated the music without hesitation! She also provided multiple ways to cast my video onto a TV which I was having problems figuring out. She is a true professional and knows her stuff!

When I want to forward videos i cannot and there is nothing ( no information)

Had a billing issue and the Animoto team totally came through. You really see what a company’s made of when a problem pops up, and these guys were awesome — super helpful, fast, and made sure everything was squared away. Great customer service! I highly recommend them.
