Our story began back in 1987 in the South West when two surfers designed our first product. Their brainchild, the ‘Hook and Loop’ watch strap. It was here that the Animal name was born, and an iconic adventure began. Terrible customer service! Updated to VERY GOOD!
Terrible customer service, photo evidence supplied by my wife of TWO pairs of slides simply becoming “unstuck” on the band component of each pair (men’s and women’s) - YES, 12 month guarantee had just expired, but have hardly been worn (the tread is entirely “as new” on both pairs!) - I would understand if we had trekked miles in them, but they have been used sporadically since ownership! Used to think Animal stood for QUALITY, sadly just cheaply made overpriced slides apparently stuck together with a very weak adhesive!
UPDATE : 9th august 2023 - reply from Animal suggesting they wanted to help….. I received the SAME EXACT copy and paste reply - “Unfortunately, both faulty items are now outside the 12 months warranty period, hence we are unable to offer a refund or replacement”.
I give up now, if I could give zero stars I would….. terrible quality slides not built to last more than very light / occasional wear (indoors perhaps?!) - please don’t buy!
FURTHER UPDATE 13th AUGUST:
Clare Judd, senior customer advisor, has been exceptional and processed a full refund with apologies for the initial advisor responses. Thank you Clare, my wife has received a confirmation email and now awaiting payment into her bank account.

I recently received a woollen jumper with 4 tigers and 3 elephants on, front AND back. Its remarkable what this company are prepared to do for their customers. I paid £23.99 at another company only last week and it's quite simply a disgrace that I only got 3 lions and only 2 rinosserass. animal.co.uk are the best. I only paid £49.99 too. Value for money. If you divide the amount of tigers and horses by the amount I paid, you'll easily see that animal.com are by far the best animal print jumper/clothes shop in the UK and I bet Urope to.

They Have Totally Ruined Their Flip Flops!
The new recycled version are awful and like walking on plastic. Not At all breathable & a far cry from the previous versions. I’m trying to pull a nailed on sticker from underneath the toe parting and I cannot get it off. I’m allergic to it & it’s caused me to bleed. Talk about ruin a superb product overnight, complete waste of money and going in the bin!

Amazing customer service
After returning an item and not hearing anything for a while I emailed on a bank hol to get an update. Not expecting anything same day I was shocked to get a reply within minutes not only giving me an update but also I was informed the refund had been actioned.

Very efficient service
I spoke to Sobia about receiving the wrong flip flops and she immediately promised that they would be replaced with the correct ones once the stock had been checked . They were then dispatched by Express post .
