2 years into my loan I called to get a payout figure only to find out I had to pay an extra $5500 early payout. When arranging the load I specifically said I wanted a loan without an early payout penalties and was told it was a loan that suited my situation.

read your contract very carefully as interest is calculated at start of loan in bulk and ends up very expensive if u pay out early very deceiving I think I realise its my responsibility to read contract but when not even one mention of this is made more than a bit sneaky

My financed vehicle was stolen and declared a total loss. I immediately contacted the lender so my insurer could settle the loan. Unfortunately, the experience since then has been extremely frustrating. I struggled to obtain a clear and accurate payout figure based on the amount owing at the date of loss. Instead of a straightforward process, I’ve faced delays and confusing information that has held up the insurance settlement and created unnecessary stress.
As a small business owner trying to move forward from a theft, I expected urgency and transparency. Instead, the process has felt slow and overly complicated. Clear communication and accurate figures should not be this hard to obtain.
I hope the company improves how it handles total-loss claims in future. I’ll update this review if the matter is resolved properly.

I purchased my company Vehicle through this finance company, and I regret that decision every single day. When facing financial hardship, they offer no real flexibility — refinancing is only considered if you have less than three months remaining on your contract.

If you sell your vehicle for less than the remaining balance, they require you to repay the difference within just 21 weeks. Similarly, if you voluntarily surrender the vehicle, they will auction it and still demand that any remaining balance be repaid within the same short timeframe, regardless of the amount owed.

Their definition of “hardship” is not aligned with what most people would reasonably expect. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing, and I deeply regret choosing this company for vehicle financing.

CROOKS!! Absolute horrible company. They should be in jail for stealing hard working people’s money. Paid out my 41k loan and they made me pay 12k payout. No reward for paying on time everytime, just rob hard working people of all their money. Stay clear of this criminal organization. Would never recommend. Will be reporting them to ASIC.

Angle Auto Finance ran a hard enquiry on my credit file without proper consent. They claimed it was a soft check, but it’s clearly visible on my Equifax report — which should not happen.

They couldn’t even find my record but still refused to remove the enquiry. I’ve filed a complaint with AFCA over this.

As a debt management professional, I know this is not how credit checks should be handled. Very disappointing and untrustworthy.

The worst decision we made. The set up fees from the start $$$ are bleeding on top of the exorbitant interest and other fees.

Stay very clear from this finance company. Started with a finance broker that put me onto Angel Finance with promises but nothing but lies. Supposed to have a customer portal and able to make extra payments that never happened or was allowed to make extra payments after I sold my vehicle.
I borrowed the full amount on my new KIA Carnival I was rushed to sign the contract only to find out later I was slugged with a 17% interest rate.
After paying $1734 monthly for the last 6 months and asked for a payout figure as we are in the process in re-financing our Morgage I then find out I still owe another $7000 on top of my original loan, even after paying $10404 towards my loan.
Surely this isnt legal.

Angle Auto finance participate in deceitful conduct, the were given the opportunity to review and correct this and they concluded you signed the form so leave us alone.

There was no transparency for the layman. There was also very limited speed and i needed to follow them up on numerous occasions. To be unfortunately disappointed as Angle Auto Finance does not know the meaning of "good will" or solution focus, they will not exercise discretion for the sake of Good will.

I feel compelled to warn others about the practices of Angle Finance, a lending agency that, in my experience, operates unethically. They seem more focused on extracting excessive fees from their clients rather than genuinely helping them succeed in repaying loans.

**My Experience:**
1. **Loan Application**: I approached a brokerage for a car loan and was directed to Angle Finance. Initially, everything seemed fine.
2. **Hardships and Communication**: I faced numerous personal challenges, including illnesses and financial hardships. I was proactive in communicating with Angle Finance about my situation and my desire to avoid entering a formal financial hardship arrangement, due to potential privacy breaches by some finance companies.
3. **Rude and Unprofessional Conduct**: The agents I interacted with were often rude and disrespectful, disregarding the principle that customer satisfaction should be a priority.
4. **Intimidation and Trespassing**: Despite being only one and a half months late on repayments, Angle Finance sent an investigator to my home. This person trespassed on my property, took video footage without consent, and threatened to confiscate my car. The police, alarmingly, supported this behavior.
5. **Payment Issues**: I agreed to make a late payment of $455 plus a $15 fee. However, Angle Finance tried to withdraw $505 instead. Their explanation that they had attempted multiple withdrawals was false, as there was an agreement for a single withdrawal on a specified date.
6. **Unfair Fees**: They refused to waive unjust fees, further proving their focus on penalizing clients rather than facilitating loan repayments.

**Conclusion:**
Angle Finance's business model appears to rely on clients failing to meet repayment obligations, allowing them to collect cars and charge excessive fees. This is not a company interested in your financial well-being. They employ tactics to ensure you breach your contract, benefiting from the penalties and repossessions.

**Legal Action**:
I have secured a lawyer who is committed to taking legal action against Angle Finance.

I urge others to be cautious and seek alternative lending options to avoid the pitfalls of dealing with Angle Finance.

I specifically asked during applying for finance if I could pay it back early to save on interest charges, therefor saving money and was told "definitely"
It turns out if I pay it out early, I STILL pay the full amount PLUS the full amount of interest I would have paid, PLUS a crazy 5K plus termination fee...

Check their add on fees too... They charge you for absolutely everything, and because there is no app, or login in options, whenever you want to now or check anything, expect to be raped....

With the price of living, these grubs are dishonest vultures and profiting off their customers in unfair ways.

It clearly states in their contract
"We'll always act in good faith and adopt commercially reasonable procedures when working out any break costs"

Define "good faith"

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Angel Auto Finance, and I can confidently say that their customer service is abysmal. And their Hidden costs aren't worth going near this business.

Unresponsive Communication:
Trying to reach Angel’s customer service feels like shouting into a void. Emails go unanswered, phone calls lead to perpetual hold music, and their chat support might as well be a chatbot on autopilot.
If you enjoy waiting days for a simple response, Angel is your go-to.

Lack of Empathy:
When I finally did get through to a human, their lack of empathy was astounding. It’s as if they’ve been trained to read from a script devoid of any human emotion.

My concerns were met with indifference, and any attempt to explain my situation fell on deaf ears.

Incompetence Galore:
Angel’s representatives seem to have no clue about their own processes. I was given conflicting information, incorrect deadlines, and vague promises.

It’s like they’re playing a game of “Guess the Policy” with customers’ financial well-being at stake.

Broken Promises:
Angel assured me that my issue would be resolved promptly. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t.
Broken promises and missed deadlines became the norm, leaving me frustrated and stressed.

Blame Game:
Instead of taking responsibility, Angel’s customer service team excels at finger-pointing. It’s always someone else’s fault—the system, the backend team, or the elusive manager who never seems to be available.

Accountability? Not in their vocabulary.

Overall Disregard for Customers:
Angel Auto Finance treats customers like an inconvenience. We’re not people; we’re just numbers on a spreadsheet.

If you’re looking for a company that genuinely cares about your financial well-being, look elsewhere.

Verdict: Avoid Angel Auto Finance like the plague. Their customer service is a masterclass in how not to treat clients. Save yourself the headache and find a lender that values your time, money, and sanity.

Undeclared hidden clauses in their contracts costing thousands in unearned interest if loans paid out early. Not remotely concerned with doing the right thing.

I am keep getting mails from them, i have not got any service from them, but they think I owe them money. I think it is a scamming company.

I keep writing emails to them, with no answers back.

Wouldn’t recommend this company if my life depended on it. They used to be called Axsess Today but I assume they shut that company down because of how dodgy they are. Not only did they charge GST on top of a purchase that had already been charged GST, but they are the most inconsiderate people I have ever dealt with. Seems like there’s around 4 people working there and they couldn’t give a stuff if you are in financial hardship or not. During the pandemic my business was shut down because of lockdowns and it was nearly impossible to pay the amount owing. I called to see if there were any solutions and explained my circumstances and was told that I need to send a detailed email explaining what had been discussed on the phone. I sent the email, revealing confidential and personal information and didn’t get a response for over 10 days so I then I sent a follow-up email and never got a response to that either. Fast forward to 2022 and I had to close my business down because I wasn’t able to recover from almost 12 full months of Melbourne lockdowns. Again, told over the phone that it should be ok to be able to cut back some of the costs if I paid out early but I needed to explain my situation in detail and email it to their general email provided. I did this, revealing even more traumatic and personal information that had occurred in the past 3 months only to be told “sorry, we don’t offer reduced settlements”. Fast forward, I am now out of work and the money has run out…I missed ONE SINGLE payment last week and received a call from the same guy who read my personal email hounding me for the money and threatening to take me to a debt collector with attitude too. Absolutely disgusting. No wonder they don’t have a google listing, they would be rated so poorly that people would run for the hills. No morals or ethics, small company with a fancy website to look professional but nothing of the sort. Signing on with this company has been my biggest regret. They slugged me with 10% interest from the get go. Run while you can!!!!!!
