Absolutely dreadful, avoid at all costs.

The only thing this shameful company are "amazing" at is:
1. completely underestimating the job and sending inadequate crew
2. sending rude unprofessional people
3. threatening you in your own home
4. not completing the job and leaving your possessions on the pavement and you stranded on moving day
5. ignoring any requests for help and claiming false statements.

Like any web searcher I had done my research but bitterly regret choosing such an unprofessional, disgusting and rude company who completely let us down. Just hope someone else reads this and avoids using them and use a professional firm associated to BAR (British Association of Removers) which this company is not. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

We used amazing moves in Nov 2021 to move an elderly relative into Shelterd housing. They turned up at the agreed time and the two guys were polite and careful with the furniture. I would certainly use them again.

Dependable, no non-sense. I have used this company many times and keep using them because its always straight forward and fairly easy.

Excellent service with no problems at all. Very hardworking and efficient staff team.

I was initially very impressed and happy with the service. The staff were kind and efficient. Nevertheless, the vibe changed the moment I started inquiring about my deposit. Two weeks after the move, noone contacted me about my deposit. When I reached out to ask when this will be returned, I was asked to provide my card details. Nevertheless, nothing happened. I emailed two additional times and was told this will be sorted asap. Six weeks after my move - still no deposit. This is unacceptable from a customer service point of view and I also suspect it is illegal. Please do keep an eye out on your deposit return in case you decide to use this company!

This company is not to be trusted. Thought I had a booking, only for them to say they had no availability once they saw how few items I had to move. One person said they charge £84 per hour and another said they would give me a price once they had list of items. Run a mile from this company.....

A team of 4 showed up to move us from a 5 beds house, however only two of them started moving the items. We asked them to work more efficiently, but they got offended and demanded two hours payment (430 GBP). After we paid, they immediately left leaving the move unfinished (at about 25%), which put us into a very difficult situation as our exchange was scheduled for next day.
I would not recommend this company at all.

2 men and 1 luton van.....moved me from Buckinghamshire to the south coast, excellent work and really friendly. No breakage, super efficient. Would recommend and use them again.

I would leave no stars if the system allowed me to do so. Amazing Moves cancelled on me 30 minutes prior to when they were due to arrive AND offered me no alternative: they did not book me with another company, offer me another time slot...nothing. And I quote 'there is nothing that we can do'. Even as I write this, I cannot believe that it is true. I have never experienced anything like it. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Don’t use this company if you care about your furniture.
They bashed my fridge by pushing it so hard against a door that the door handle even left a hole in the wall on the other side. When contacted about the problem they rejected any responsibility by saying that the fridge was all wrapped when they collected, implying that the damage was already there and I should have complained earlier anyway. The fridge was not completely wrapped, just had a bit of shrink wrap stuck at the back, and I complained just a couple of hours after their “service”, as soon as I noticed the damage.
Shoddy work and lies: avoid them and get a more reliable company if you can.

Had a great phone call when booking with Stan who was so helpful and answered all my questions (never had to book a removals vane before so I was at a loss!). Stan was friendly and understood what I was asking perfectly. The day before my delivery, I got a phone call asking to confirm. They were quick to get me off the phone even though I had a couple more questions (sorry, was a bit nervous about the move) and I was left a bit confused when the call ended. However, my actual movers were INCREDIBLE and were willing to do anything so long as it fit in the van. They handled my items with care and were finished sooner than expected! Loved my experience with Amazing Movers, I hope the guys who moved my items get compensated because I cannot stress how brilliant they were!

The move went really well. The 2 staff members who carried out the move were organised, took instructions well and worked really hard as I moved to a second floor flat where there was no lift. They placed everything in a very tidy way and there was no breakage at all. Really good service, have used them before and they are a good removals company.

Staff very helpful from the organisation to the move, and for a very good price.

We used "Amazing" Moves to vacate our 1 bedroom flat. The preamble was decent, they quoted a fair fixed price online and all seemed good.
On the day of the move the removal guys arrived promptly, but straight away there was a language barrier as the gentleman that arrived could barely understand what I was saying. They did an initial recce around the flat and instantly complained stated that ‘this isn’t all going to fit’ – despite us meticulously listing every single item on Amazing Moves inventory calculator and overcompensating. It later transpired that it did all fit, with plenty of room to spare in the Luton Box Van.
During the move the removal men dropped our washing machine, which I reported to the Amazing Moves Office immediately. Word quickly looped back round to the removal guys that I had reported this damage, and they proceeded in berating me in a very aggressive manner, demanding that I call the Office back and retract my complaint. They quickly turned nasty and were clearly unwilling to accept responsibility for the damage they had caused. Its strange because they had a trolly and straps in the van, but they didn’t use them at any point while they were moving our large items including the damaged Washing Machine – again I feel this just shows the poor level of expertise and quality of the service – these guys didn’t really know what they were doing. It quickly became clear that this was not a removal service, but just a few heavy-handed blokes & a van, entrusted with our worldly possessions (facepalm).
Throughout the moving process the Amazing Moves removal guys showed a complete lack of respect for our belongings. Their lack of the basic English language meant that boxes labelled up as ‘this way up’ or ‘fragile – handle with care’ was completely ignored. This resulted in yet more damages and items being unnecessarily broken.
To add insult to injury, Amazing Moves were completely unwilling to compensate us for a broken washing machine, a smashed picture, and a box of broken wine glasses. Having had a lengthy to and fro conversation with Claudia – they were still unwilling to compensate us as it didn’t meet their minimum £150 insurance threshold. To this day they are yet to compensate us a penny for the damaged items exacted by their removal men.
In summary – Amazing Moves may seem appealing on paper, but we found they showed a complete lack of professionalism, they showed no respect for our belongings, and they failed to take any responsibility or compensate us for the items they damaged. They are clearly a cowboy business, and a glorified man and van service. Please avoid this business at all costs if you want to retain your belongings in once piece. I wish I had looked at their companies’ house history before investing in their services – multiple business name changes in such a short period of time = alarm bells!!!

Jennifer and her team organised and carried out a seamless move from Putney in London to Inverewe in Scotland. Very polite, efficient and professional at all times. We were really impressed with the service they offer. Would definitely recommend.

Do NOT use this company for anything other than basic man and van services.

I booked the company for a large move, i completed an inventory which identified i needed 2 vans if all items were taken, knowing that i had only booked one van i specifically asked that all heavy furniture be moved as a priority (this aligned with the inventory i had completed which identified the furniture would easily fit in 1 van). Instead only a couple of large furniture items from the inventory were taken (even though i left a further written note of instructions reiterating the fact furniture was a priority) together with other random items such as bikes all of which meant i needed to book a separate removal company to take the rest as i would have been unable to scoop up the leftovers on my own. The way the van was packed was terrible, nothing was protected and lots of space left (i have photos).

I believe that the inventory calculator they use is not accurate or they sent the wrong van or indeed they were just inexperienced men with no packing skills. In terms of the men my walls have been marked because they didn't want to take apart the bed to bring it upstairs and it took for me to ask them to take apart (booking specifically said this bed needed to be taken apart).

Claudia was very professional and customer service good until i challenged their actions at which point attitudes got uncomfortable and i was made to feel their inability to follow clear instructions was my fault. The manager Jennifer was very passive aggressive and whilst she apologised it was said with no sincerity. This company made a big move for someone on their own more stressful than it needed to be, i incurred excessive unnecessary cost as the 2 men were lazy and only took the items that required least effort.

i understand they may also not be considered “approved movers” so there is no process for complaints (t&c’s do not provide for a complaint procedure either).
