My move on Friday was just a nightmare. Booked for 11am, was called the day before and asked to change to 12pm, fine. On the day itself, got a call to say the booking before had over ran it would now be 2pm, they didn’t arrive till 3pm! The men said it wasn’t their job and had been asked to come as the job before had issues. It was 9pm before I was in my new home. I had booked a specific time as I was getting away from a DV situation and due to how long everything took the person found out I had moved! I wouldn’t recommend this company at all.

This is not the standard we aim for!
Although this happened in June, we’d still like to put things right and learn from it. Please DM your booking reference (and collection postcode) so we can locate your job, review what went wrong with scheduling/dispatch and our contingency steps that day, and come back with a resolution — including an appropriate goodwill gesture.
If you ever need our help again, we can set up a protected booking protocol (priority slot, tighter time window and discreet communication with a named coordinator). Thank you for bringing this to our attention — we’re tightening buffers and escalation procedures to prevent a repeat.

Worst company
So i booked this company to do my moving yesterday, it was a big mistake!! I initially booked for 09:00 am call them to confirm & the lady i spoke with said it was fine but them she asked me if was OK at later hour because she forgot that they had to do a earlier move . I told her ok no problem and asked what other time could we do it,she told 13:00 pm and I told her no later than that because at 15:30 I had an hospital appointment due to the fact that im heavily pregnant (she told me no worries, the job in the morning it's a small one ,pretty sure we can make it to you before 13:00) she sent the confirmation via email for the time scheduled. Gets to the day it's around 12:45 pm i didn't receive any message or call to let me know, that they are on the way,so I decided to call their office to ask what was going on(the person that answered the phone had no idea ,she had to check) after checking i was informed that the move wasrescheduled to 15:00 because they were late ( put in mind they never called to let me know) when i asked why I wasn't informed ,the person in the other side didn't had a proper answer!! I you can imagine it,i lost my patience with them turned off the call & let my partner trying to solve the problem. My partner call them again asking if the move was going to be done or not,they told him yes and asked what time would be best,my partner said around 16:00/16:30 depending on how long the hospital appointment would take! Around 16:30 my partner called them saying he was on is way to the house (we end up being in the hospital for 1 hour,doctors had to check something with the baby). When my partner got the house they diver complain that they were waiting for around 20 minutes (but we could wait almost all afternoon for them) the audacity of some people. When the removal was finally finished around 19:30 my partner asked if we could have a discount, since was there fault & we had to wait basically all day for them, he was meet with a resounding no. When unpacking one of the few boxes that said fragile handle with care, I was meet with my belongings broken!!! Basically the worst moving company i ever used i do not recommend.

Poor Service, No Accountability
My experience with Amazing Moves was disorganised from the start. The time we agreed on was questioned last minute, and I was sent one experienced mover and another who admitted it was his "first day" and took breaks after every item he moved. I had to do double the work just to get things in order.
The move took much longer due to this, and they attempted to charge nearly double. When I pushed back, I was made to feel like I was being done a favour. One of my monitors was also damaged, and the claims process was exhausting - filled with blame and zero accountability.
They claim to have solid processes, but they only seem to apply when it suits them. A truly disappointing experience during an already stressful time.

Be very careful if using this company. They broke a lamp while moving furniture and refused to pay any compensation despite being told they are very reliable.

small move
It is annoying when you have a small move out of London and there is no friend available to help to hire a van also it is near Xmas.Neither of us is confident enough to attempt a drive. wish we had ordered more furniture at my old address and then got Amazing Moves to take it to my new one.The mover guys were efficient and careful and polite.Alex however is a great communicator and does not lose patience with anxious movers.Thanks again.Not really cheap for a small move but was out of London.But pretty quickly done.

Highly recommend for smaller internal removals
We had a very small internal removal job switching beds and chest of drawers between rooms. Maria was really helpful making the booking, two men arrived on time and were quick, clean and pleasant making the moves. They were particularly keen to ensure everything was completed and positioned exactly as we wanted. Even though it took considerably less time than the minimum two hours we had to book, the very reasonable hourly rate meant it was excellent value for money.

Poor (customer) service
I booked a move with Amazing Moves, and it turned out to be less than what they claim to be.
The move was due on a Sunday afternoon at 14.00, and they called the day before to say they might run max 1h late, but they said the driver will call to confirm the time.
After I had to call the company several times for an update, no one knew when they'll show. Eventually they turned up 3.5 hours later than initially agreed. That's extremely poor customer service.
When I contacted them several times for a partial refund for the inconvenience caused, they didn't bother to respond. I had to press hard only to not offer a refund.
The move itself was okay, nothing to write home about, but their customer service is terrible.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend them.

WHAT A GREAT MOVE!
This was such a great move! Honestly Donna was very welcoming on the phone and Claudia made sure to communicate with me timings when they were running late with traffic. And Ottile and Peter moved my stuff with such care and didnt complain at all. Nothing was broken. Not even my glass cabinet. I'm very thankful and I would 100 percent use them again!

I've moved today , been waiting for the driver 1 hour . He wouldn't answer his phone when called the office to ask whether he would make it or not .
They won't notify the client if any delays instead we need to call loads of time.
I had to carry myself heavy boxes .

Very unsatisfactory
I arranged a small house move with Alex for 27th August. First the arrangement was for 12pm, then they phoned the next day and changed it to 2pm and then a few hours beforehand they changed it to 3pm and they said that this should be definite but shortly before 3pm they said it would not be until 4 or 4.30pm, by this time I'd enough and asked them to reschedule to a different date but they said that this was not possible and so I gave up.
I do not recommend this company at all!!

Excellent service. I received an emailed quote so felt they were trustworthy. I had the option of paying by cash so didn't have to give out my bank details over the phone. The movers were friendly, on time, and efficient. I would definitely use them again.
