Alpha Heater 

I’d give no stars if possible.
Tried to cancel my order within hours of placing it but was told I was too late.
Then offered me 30% off off I kept the order. Then 40% and so on. Each time I refused the discount got bigger.
Eventually I got a full refund.
The heater arrived and is absolutely useless. Wouldn’t heat a dog kennel.
Stay away from this company.

Do not buy this heater even when using PayPal. The heater is cheap and plastic and does not work !!!
When trying to return it’s been nothing but hassle and cost me £15 to send back to Hong Kong
The company is called Marging Holdings btw. It’s cost money and about a month to resolve and I haven’t received a refund yet although PayPal resolution centre have said they will pay the money back once I’ve sent proof of postage which I have done today

I think the way these heaters are 'sold' is borderline criminal. I didn't have an opportunity to review my order or even discover the price before the money was taken from my PayPal account. I have raised it with PayPal as I do not think they should be dealing with such a company. The selling and marketing methods are aggressive and, in spite of providing an email address for correspondence, they do not respond.

Its a scam, ordered 3 heaters 11/12/22 still no sign of these crap heaters with an american plug fitting. At no point do they inform you they are in america. They state 2-3 days delivery, its not until you've paid the penny drops and your pants have been yanked down, paid in $. Raised a dispute now for my money back as they've offered partial refund if i keep the order. No i want full refund, still waiting.

If I could give no stars I would. Cheap and nasty, plug pins are squint and unless you are sitting on top of it, virtually no heat. The claims in the website are so far from the truth. Please do not waste your money on this rubbish.

Ordered a heater middle of December then saw the reviews on here. Filled in an online claims form with my bank after waiting two weeks as didn’t receive and because of complaints on here and bank refunded the money immediately. Worth a try.

Ordered on 21-11-22 and still no product. Completely ignored by the company still no contact. Phone doesn’t get answered.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

This is a complete waste of money, when you try to return under the 30 day money back guarantee you just get automated emails sent back, Alpha heater should be ashamed of themselves selling such cheap rubbish that does not meet the claims of the internet advert don't part with your money.

Ordered 5 heaters big mistake one wouldn’t even fit in the wall pin was all bent out of shape .two of the five worked but let out enough heat to warm a fly 🤬very angry that parcel was held up in customs for several weeks while they wrote to me saying I had to pay£68 yo get it out and delivered this is a big con I rang my credit card company and they’re suspending the payments while they investigate company i would advise anyone to get in touch with their payment company and try and get these people closed down why are customs allowing dodgy stuff through the borders 🤬🤬🤬

Bought 5 units, total cost £264.30 they added $29.94 for upgrade controls we never asked for, the advert said delivery 5-10 days but they were later. We then thought as a scam as no tracking sent, but would be DHL.
In fact the DHL was only to Germany where we were charged a further £68 import charges to be delivered by Parcelforce.
The units are too heavy for uk sockets and hang out, ( unsafe). The unit does not heat a room as advertised and are useless.
DO NOT BUY THEM AS WASTE OF MONEY!!!

Just doesn't produce much heat. It might heat up a telephone box or the loo but not much else!

Ordered one of these around the 7th December 2022 along with a remote control but hadn’t previously researched Trustpilot🙄. When I subsequently did so (I know, I know🙄), I went about cancelling my order via their email address “support etc etc” but it bounced back twice with no response.

I Received the heater which on initial inspect looked cheap. The heat output seemed nothing like 500w and it failed within a week by only puffing out cold air. I’ve just sent an email again and if they don’t respond I’m thinking about a “charge-back” approach!

I totally agree with all the other comments and if I could give 0 stars I would. I also fell into the trap of the consumer review website and ordered one heater via PayPal for £42 after discounts only to be charged £62.48 for shipping, which I was not aware of, and a remote which I had not ordered. A monthly subscription was also set up through Margin Holdings which I cancelled immediately. I immediately tried to cancel the order but emails were not accepted by their server. I received the item but would not plug in as they are cheap and nasty with no fuse in the plug. After contacting PayPal I have received a full refund and the heater has been destroyed, but what does concern me is that these identical heaters are now turning up for sale on Ebay, so be warned.

If I could give this 0 stars I would! Kicking myself I didn’t trust pilot in advance! Received heater which didn’t work at all, complained to company who point blank refuse to provide a full refund only offered 59% refund! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

Totally agree with all of the reviews on here these heaters are completely useless, worth no more than a fiver each, I got scammed into buying two of them at a discount price of eighty quid for a pair. Should have realised that coming from China it would be a load of crap. DO NOT BUY THESE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !

I bought my Alpha Heater via Margin Holdings a company based in New Jersey USA, as I googled the best mini heaters and they came up as No.1 The advertising of it looked great, and I was told to beware of fakes from China. I paid via PayPal Credit and also purchased the remote and 3yrs warranty. When it arrived the other day, it had come from China so I was not impressed. I emailed them and contacted PayPal re false advertising of product under Sale of Goods, plus misleading customers into buying product. I have now had a full refund, and will look into similar products preferably from the UK. This heater looks very cheaply made and reading the instructions (which were full of mistakes) I couldn't find the kitemark symbol to say its safe to use in the UK. The company did reply to my email and were happy to refund, as they offer a 30day refund policy.

Received two Alpha heaters via New Jersey USA. Absolutely rubbish. Please do your research. I am very very disappointed. They are only 500 watt made in China. One safety matter there is no evidence if uk trading standards approve of the safety of this device.Think extremely careful before buying.

They advertise this heater as 1200 Watts which can be switched down to 650 Watts, what you actually get is a 500 watt heater, total rip off
