Release Mechanism- not opening
I called the locksmith about 10.30am on the 07/09/2020 as the release mechanism on my fire door wasn't opening properly - which meant I was unable to close the door properly and had to wait a while for it to slowly open. The locksmith arrived within an hour and open the side of the door, cleaned and fixed and left in about 25 mins. I was very pleased with the service as it was quick, efficient and resolved on the day.

Dear Pav we are very sorry to hear about your negative experience however we do not believe this company to be us. There is a company who are using our trade name fraudulently to rip off their customers. They have been reported to both the Police and to Trading Standards . Please kindly forward on you invoice direct to myself @ dee@allservices4u.co.uk and I will endeavour to help.

Hi Beryl, thank you for the review! Glad we could help.
ABSOLUTE SCAM
ABSOLUTE SCAM, stay clear. My friend has just been charged £473 pounds for labour
(took under an hour) New lock was 90 pounds and then VAT on top. A whopping total of £567.60 to change a lock in under an hour. Will be contacting trading office to complain and possible small claims court.

Wrong call?
Our request for a locksmith to come out was answered within 30minutes. The fitter made every effort to get the door lock to lock which eventually it did but then would not unlock. A double glazing fitter was able to adjust the hanging mechanism on the door later which then allowed the locking mechanism to operate reasonably well. Perhaps I needed a double glazing professional rather than a locksmith. My wrong call not the locksmith.
