Have a 2016 for Ford mondeo off these had an issue with clutch pedal getting stuck.

when I drove down 3 hours from my home address for them to look at it they had the car a day, then delivered vehicle back to me next morning saying no fault found!

After taking vehicle to another garage found out to be contaminated hydraulic pipes/hoses which the warranty doesn’t cover.

quote price for repairs £2,000 they did offer to look at vehicle again but I was not willing to drive 3 hours again and get train home, and then have to go collect vehicle from them and drive back to the midlands.

I did however make a complaint to them which really has been ignored,
AK CARS not willing to help.

car is on finance I can’t afford to fork out for the repairs they have done me over £18,000 which is car and finance price together.

I will never go near this company again!

Buyer beware!

I broke down in my motorhome on Good Friday. I phoned AK Commercials and spoke to a gentleman who told me to leave it outside, post the keys through the letterbox and they would have a look on Tuesday. They phoned me and told me that it was just a pipe that had come off the turbo. I have had nothing but exceptional service from everyone who works there and highly recommend them to everyone

Visited the dealership to look for my first car. They had a great variety of cars and were extremely helpful in answering all my questions. Excellent service and would highly recommend. One happy customer.

Bought a car and as soon as I drove it away I had problems, we were lied to and fobbed off at every opportunity. The car had major faults and they just told me it was because it was an older car when they took it in to look at until warranty was out. I phoned many times, they haven’t responded to my emails. They have knowingly put me and my newborn in danger which two other garages have confirmed.

Appalling Experience – Strongly Advise Others to Stay Away
Our experience with this dealership has been nothing short of infuriating. Just two days after purchasing a vehicle, a major fault became apparent. We returned the car three separate times in a genuine effort to get the issue resolved, showing far more patience than the situation deserved. Throughout this ordeal, we repeatedly requested detailed documentation of the repairs—basic transparency that any reputable business should provide—but were met with outright refusal and evasiveness at every turn.
The dealership failed to properly repair the issue, and the fault kept recurring. Eventually, we had no choice but to request a refund. Despite the ongoing disruption, stress, and time wasted for our family, they refused to issue a full refund, using the fact that the car had been driven as an excuse. That reasoning is utterly ridiculous given that the problem surfaced within 48 hours of purchase.
To make matters worse, they pointed to minor bumper damage—clearly present when we bought the vehicle—as a further excuse to reduce the refund amount. This tactic felt like nothing more than a deliberate attempt to avoid taking responsibility.
In our opinion, this dealership is far more concerned with protecting their profits than treating customers fairly or ethically. Their lack of accountability, honesty, and basic decency was astounding. If you’re considering buying from them—don’t. And if you already have, be extremely cautious and act fast at the first sign of trouble. We will never recommend this business to anyone.
