Agora Financial Omdömen 

I think this is one of the times I had a pretty clear understanding of an investment product where I could separate the performance from all the noise. I got stuck with agora after purchasing the altucher report for a 2500.
Once I bought that for its crypto hype, it has been impossible to shake these guys for 3 years now.
I think I’ve turned 100k into 896 following their advice.
Basically their selling subscriptions with no real advice behind it, the subscription is the product.

In October 2017, less than 2 years ago, I paid Agora $3,000 for a lifetime subscription to Rickard's Gold Speculator, a weekly publication related to investing in small gold miners. I was pleased with it.

Recently, this newsletter was discontinued and Agora Financial unilaterally substituted another publication, Jim Rickard's Project Prophecy, often which appear to be pitches for yet other products sold by Agora and usually has little to do with gold or miners when an occasional recommendation is made.

Then, just "coincidentally", Agora's subsidiary Stansberry Research recently initiated what appears to be a quite identical gold mining stock service, Gold Stock Analyst with John Doody.

On August 27, 2019, I spoke to "John", a senior account specialist at Agora about this. I inquired into whether there was a substitute publication available specifically for gold mining stocks but he indicated there wasn't. When I inquired about getting switched into the Gold Stock Analyst service, he indicated that wasn't possible. When I inquired about a full or even partial refund of the $3,000, John said it wasn't refundable.

So, in less than 2 years, Agora discontinues a "lifetime" gold mining publication, has no substitute, won't provide a full or partial refund of a lifetime subscription to it, then initiates an almost identical gold stock advisory service service through it's sister publication Stansberry.

This type of behavior by a financial service is, in my opinion, highly unethical if not illegal.

I've only been able to go through a small amount of the material you send out, otherwise I might have given a higher score -- I look forward to making the most of the subscription!

Altucher Alliance: Some of the newsletters are given more care than others. I feel like new newsletters are launched too often which waters down the rest of them. Many trades have been successful but have been drowned out by big losses from put options that were exercised (gsky) which are now sitting in my account down 70%. Part of that is bad asset allocation on my part since the 100 shares that options trade in is usually a bigger number of shares than I would normally allocate if I was just buying a stock.

James Altucher has provided a wealth of financial information and taught me a lot about using leverage and options. But with his service you don’t need to be constantly reading up on the latest goings on in the financial markets, you can just use his buy and sell signals to generate impressive profits. For example his latest AlphaBrain service has produced profits of 20% to 30% each week for several weeks in a row. Excellent stuff! Keep it up!

In today's busy world it really helps to have a mentor who is super focused and keeps guiding you in the right direction! Keep up the great work JA and keep leading the way...

Too many spammy pitches to join other newsletters and systems.
I can't tell if James is truly endorsing these products or just shilling them. It would seem if he truly backed it, it would become part of his system instead.
And furthermore, why do I have to sign up for anything just to answer this survey>

I think there some lack of information for people outside USA

I'm impressed with the fact that for the most part, James doesn't force a position for the sake of `coming up' with something. He seems to know when to take your gains off the table even if they run higher afterward. The research story behind the suggested positions is very informative and I'm glad the homework is so thorough.
And last but not least, it's very interesting if not disarming to hear James real-life trials and tribulations that he's willing to share and ... bare.

I subscribe to James Altucher's Altucher Report. His insights on the stock market, technology trends and other areas of economic change makes him a well respected author and writer in my book. I feel confident saying that my life has changed for the (much) better thanks to James' newsletter. Very happy subscriber, and you will too!

I feel that you always give more than I expect. I appreciate you humility and willingness to share your failures in like and because of that I think most of us feel like you are a friend we can trust. That you really care if we succeed of fail. I don't ALWAYS agree with you, but you always make me think. You don't criticize without offering many positive solutions to the problem.I really like your recent piece on why you should be President. I am making a decent ROI with your advice, so please keep up the good work.

You deserve to be quite proud of your accomplishments, and rightly so, you over sell the opportuinity with subscribers whle burdening them down with "What Can Be." Half of the time the subscriber is dragged along until its time to have them comit. Once yhou get paid, which is always well-secured. then you re-tell the story again. I realize that the "SNYDICATE" SPENT QUITE A SUM OF MOMEY, but your tax Firm will get it all back. The Subscriber is led to believe that, at the end of Eternity, the prize will be, and immediate Trade avaibale to earn money immediately or in the near future.
Too much reading with no substsntive direct reading ALERTS!!

Just the amount of emails and videos that I have to read and watch makes it difficult to concentrate on any one aspect of my trading with cryptos, or small cap stocks or any other program you have going

Missing a star just for the sake of having something to fill... Probably the fact that I keep receiving promotional material to what it's already included within the alliance... And the text messages, I can't get to have the ones I am digging right now, which are the alphabrain and crypto ones... I know this probably could be resolved with a call but took the time in parking lot dead waiting time to respond... Besides that thanks for Every.thing!!!

The financial advices are very good, while I can loose sometimes some money, most of the time I'm earning, but it requires a real dedication and follow-up. I'm very grateful that James Altucher and his team provided me many ways to get a life and plan my future (Secret Income, self-publishing course, crypto trader).
I'm very interested by all comments and analyses they can do, and all talks around those topics are great to read. I'm just fearing that in 10, 20 years it changes if James cannot /doesn't want to continue

I have always been impressed with James’ sincerity and knowledge. Even though our situation has changed since signing up for life, we still read and enjoy all the info.

I have only recently had the time to immerse fulltime into investment, even though I have been subscribing to newsletters for some years. I have found James Alturcher very good in several ways. His lack of hubris, his humility enables him to write in detail the instructions with explanations for options trades so newer investors to his subs have more confidence to trade. In another options sub with Agora, I have asked several times via email and phone to explain the exit strategy in more detail and I am still waiting for it. In fact, I found it in James's introductory videos/notes. I also find quick responses from James's support team. I never get the feeling James's is offering anything that is not in my best interest (sometimes with other subs I feel there is a big plus for the producer, not so much profit for the subscriber). As well, I enjoy reading his weekend articles that discuss new areas for investment. Consequently I have emailed him to investigate a way into such an investment and am confident of his reply. He also offers investment in a wide variety of areas. Occasionally he writes about life's problems in interesting articles. After following him for 6 months I am happy with his recommendations, his genuineness and am sticking with him.

Altucher is great, and Buyout Millionaires is a great product. Weekend Profits is not.

what i like and appreciate the most about james' service is the constant introduction of new companies into the portfolio. i'am not tech savvy, but i get to educate myself about what technologies these companies are bringing to market. james will go into depth to explain the product or service so that i can have an informed opinion about a company before i chose to invest in it or not.
most services simply give you a 'buy' recommendation without any rationale about why you should buy it. james lets me know where a companies product or service fits into the big picture overall.

I signed up for one year, $49.00 filled out Bank Card and I was in, the next day I was sent an e-mail saying the bank rejected the payment and I needed to fix the problem, I knew there was enough money to cover the $49, looking at there email I saw they had put an extra $100 on the claim and as I only had enough to cover the $49 it bounced. I felt this was a deliberate attempt to force me into a 2-year contract with them I decided to check if there are any reviews, thanks to everyone I will deal with Agora tomorrow. Am I lucky or what?
