My ferry was delayed by 6 hours, I will never book with Stena again. I travel from ireland to UK 3 to 4 a year to visit family I normally use irish ferries and have never encouraged problems like this, I thought my experience was a one off but then received another message informing me my return time would be changed, I now have to go home sooner to ensure I'm home for the 5th January to start a new job, Less time with children!

Op zich een prima overtocht met Stena Line. De geboekte vertrektijd werd echter door Stena Line aangepast. Het werd 1 uur en drie kwartier later. Daar kwamen we zelf achter, AFerry heeft ons daarover niet geïnformeerd. Dat vonden we heel slordig. Op het verzoek aan Stena Line om ons te compenseren, bijvoorbeeld door ons een maaltijd aan te bieden, werd niet gereageerd. Niet netjes!

I am able to avail of all the Irish sea routes so chose Dublin/Holyhead on this occasion but I think it is my least favourite route and won't use it again. That route across into England was very busy and not as well served with service stations. But the worst part of the journey was the lack of organisation and communication from Stena at Dublin Port. Despite having arrived 90 mins before sailing time there were 1 of 2 lanes to join to arrive at the head of the queue at the check-in booths, only 1 of which appeared to be staffed. The other queue processed ok while ours was left with no moving vehicles and with no explanation either. When we were finally signalled to move out of our stationary queue and merge into the moving one finally someone appeared at the empty booth - in a word, chaos. Despite the fact I checked in so early my car was virtually the last vehicle on board, was therefore in the open air on deck and I became last off much later than those that would have arrived at check in after me. The other upshot was that the ship was full by the time I got upstairs so places to sit where at a premium. An experience overall I won't wish to repeat.

Did not sail. No email to say it had been cancelled. Lack of communication

Food was awful. We had roast pork. Meat and gravy ok. Vegetable soggy and old looking. No roast potatoes or Yorkshire pudding. Childrens activity area could do with a gate.

I was disappointed with your situation, you cancelled my ferry two days before departure, even though you knew about it for a week, because of that my journey was extended by 10 hours, it is unacceptable, I will file a complaint
