Seating was so uncomfortable, it wasn't great 11 months ago but has got worse since? It seems that hot food is ready to go from the start but if you don't go at the beginning there won't be any food later on. I did get a nice sandwich but for 6GBP and it wasn't large. That has to be the greatest incentive to bringing your own food?

I had a cancelled sailing, I was not able to access the internet as I was touring and had additional problems with the internet on my phome. This made it necessary to call by phone. The call times were over half an hour (some passengers would be on foreign tariffs) and it was quicker for me to go to the port at Larne and a very kind lady made my re-booking. I have two suggestions to make First, an automatic transfer of the crossing and a text message to say this is an optional first solution - if it doesn't suit then by all means call and re-arrange the crossing? Drastically cutting down the number of people calling. Others, who have the internet can make their own arrangements? Secondly, not everyone is comfortable with automatic arrangements and likes a person n the phone. One number for news of the problem / cancellation - what is running and what / when will be offered then put through to the call center, if necessary, for rearrangements? Thus minimising the numbers of people waiting to call in. Under teh circumstances I was very impressed with the good humour and personal attention of the staff in Larne's office and check in. I was not impressed with the small seating areas that were greatly abused by passengers who got on first. Even as a solo passenger it was hard to find a corner where I could relax before a long drive the other side?
