A very happy customer…
I found a car online one evening on their site and did an online request. I was contacted the next day and went in a few hours later.
I ended up part-exchanging my car and getting the car I wanted with handover 2 days later. I could not be happier with the service I received and my new car. Shaq was great! He made the whole process easy and was even available after the sale to answer further questions I had.

I recently made contact with Advance Vauxhall Romford in relation to a problem I had with my car. It was the first time that I had used this dealership. I have been so impressed with the Service that I have received from my initial call to completion of the work carried out. I cannot Thank Niranjan Kurmi enough for the attention I was given. I was updated by Text, Email and phone in relation to progress of my car. Everyone was so friendly and helpful which has been such a refreshing change and contrast from what I have received from other dealerships in recent years. I then had the pleasure of a Courtesy call from Karen Swainsbury to check that I was happy with everything. Karen has been very informative and helpful with their Service Plans and arrangements going forward as I fully intend to use them in future for all my Servicing. I was very lucky to get talking to Shaq Richardson when i was browsing some cars.
10 out of 10 customer service.
Great info on the cars they had + ones from other Vauxhall garages.
Not ones was I put under any pressure to buy a car from them or on the day.
All the cars there looked in great condition.

First experience of buying a car online - and pleased with the service from this dealership
I saw a car online advertised by Advance Vauxhall. It looked interesting so I made enquiries, but as the dealership was 90 miles away I could not visit. Ahmed was extremely helpful in giving me all the information I needed, and sending an additional video of the car. I've never taken the risk of purchasing a car without actually seeing it before, but I am very pleased with my purchase. Thank you Ahmed, and well done.

Great experience
From my first initial enquiry with Shaq at Watford everything was great. He was lovely to deal with, made the whole process so easy and was always available to answer any questions and keep me posted about my new purchase. The wider sales team, his manager and the admin were efficient and also nice to deal with. I appreciated the detailed handover and Shaq setting up my dashboard to reflect my needs. I have used Advance before for service of my old Corsa, but would recommend for new sales and future services. To say I'm delighted is an understatement. Thanks

Terrible
Major service, mot plus Aircon service and brake fluid change. Coolant over filled, brake fluid over filled, engine oil over filled. Brake pads squeaking before and after service as due replacement, no mention on MOT or service. Worst of all, with the Aircon service, they clearly state they check for leaks before refilling with gas. They didn't identify a pipe leak so all the gas I paid for leaked out within 24 hours. I contacted the Watford branch but they refused to refund my £99 for the Aircon service. I complained to their complaint email but no response after sending 4 emails. The service was in February 2025 and my first email of complaint was February 2025. I spent circa £800. No response in writing as requested, no accountability and just very poor workmanship. I have to go to the ombudsman now unfortunately

We sincerely apologise for the issues you’ve described — especially concerning the overfilling of fluids, the missed brake pad advisory, and the failed Aircon leak check. We understand how frustrating it must be to face unresolved problems after spending a significant amount with us, and we regret that your follow-up emails have not received a response. That’s not the level of service we aim to provide.
Regarding the Aircon service, we appreciate your concern. Leak detection is a standard part of the process, and if a leak was missed and the gas leaked out within 24 hours, that is something we need to investigate further. Similarly, overfilling fluids is not acceptable and should have been picked up during the quality check.
We would like to make things right and investigate this matter properly, including why your complaint wasn’t acknowledged. Please reach out to us directly at info@email.advancevauxhall.co.uk with your registration, and we’ll escalate this internally to ensure a full review and response in writing, as originally requested.
