Ordered a jumper in store, received a striped shirt we didn’t ask for!

You sent out the wrong item. We spoke to someone with customer service and they were incredibly unhelpful. We still do not have a resolution and stuck with an item we did not order.

We went early to the Black Friday sale and now the item we wanted is out of stock.

Instead of a jumper we have been sent a striped shirt which is not what we paid for.

Couldn't returned an item after a week.

I bought an item and by accident picked the wrong size y went back next weekend to return it but I didn't have the tag of the product, only the receipt. They didn't accept it because of that and I never used the product that it was $90. Waist money to the garbage. Will never buy with them again.

They do not deliver!!!!

It feels like scam website!!! They do not deliver the items! Please avoid it! I have been dealing with them over a week now. Customer service is horrible. AI response only on emails. They keep claiming that i should contact with courier company which is UPS and ups works with 3rd company! Why would i deal with all when the brand is actually responsible for delivery! Please avoid to order

Great service, great purchase

I was at the blue water store with my mum when I spotted a lovely chocolate winter coat. The young lady called Alko was so welcoming and lovely. She helped me choose which size was best. After messing all the coats on the stand to decide which size I wanted she said not to worry and she will tidy them as that’s part of her job. She then came to the counter to serve us despite being on her own and tidying and seeing to other customers. She made our experience personal and endearing. Can’t thank you enough . My mum treated me to this coat for my birthday and it’s top quality not only in design but the way it’s finished with such care . Thank you Alko for being a little sweetie. She’s a credit to your establishment with exceptional customer service. X

I've sent a return package over 2 weeks ago, but I still didn't got my money back, even tho the package has been delivered to Abercrombie.

Poor return policy and customer service

I recently placed my first order with Abercrombie & Fitch, and I’m honestly really disappointed with their return policy. Unfortunately, the items I received were too big, so I wanted to return them.

Before ordering, I double-checked several times on their website that returns were free, “no cost,” including shipping. That was actually one of the main reasons I decided to shop with them.

But when I tried to make the return through their platform, I was shocked to see a €5 shipping fee for sending the package back. This clearly contradicts what their website and terms say, where it’s stated that returns are completely free within 30 days.

If the policy really does charge €5 for returns when requesting a refund, this wasn’t presented in a clear or obvious way before I confirmed my order. The information is buried in the middle of a long text, which an average customer is unlikely to notice - it definitely doesn’t meet the standards of clarity and transparency.

I’m really shocked by how they treat their customers. The customer service responds quickly to emails, but only with generic, copy-paste replies that completely ignore the actual problem and don’t offer any real solution.

On top of that, one of their customer service reps actually told me: “Si vous désirez à cause de cela avancer avec des poursuites judiciaires, libre à vous.” (Eng. "If you want to pursue legal action because of this, you’re free to do so.")

I really dislike big international corporations that make money by misleading customers. I feel completely dismissed because no one even offered a gesture of goodwill. I’m just supposed to pay the €5 and that’s it.

I feel cheated and expected much more responsibility, consideration, and transparency from a brand of this size.

The worst ever

Contacted customer services and was told that I would have my shipping refunded after placing a new order. I placed an order instantly. I responded to the customer service rep and they responded saying they couldn’t refund the shipping. I have all the screenshots of the messages. This was all in the space of 10 minutes! Never using Abercrombie again.

Maybe they should hire people with customer service skills!!

I have always loved Abercrombie ever since ive been a teenager, know that i am in adult i really like there hoodies… im a rewards member, so i just had surgery and im sore so i was looking to order some hoodies and sweats, typically you can find some sort of deal, or i get some sore of promo code, so i find what i was looking for, and i thought well damn, thats just a ridiculous cost, there has to be some sort of reward from prior orders, or a promo… they took my reward points, so I am looking for promos, so i wrote in to chat i get this kid named James, guys this kid responses were that of a snail…. Forever!! And they were dismissive like “oh good lord i must of took him away from something much more important” then he proceeds to tell me about there promos and deals. Well the promo he told me about is was $25 off 125, well the order in my cart was $440, so im like hey can you at least honor it, i was still in the active week, he’s like no i cant, im like why, so i told him i was going to email, he’s like there are sales all over the site, im like ummm ok no there really isn’t, so the hoodie i found $80, and im going through all the options of colors and prints, some were $60, so why wouldn’t you make all the same hoodie with the colors and prints $60, this kid just had no answers…. Mind you he was a snai;, so im writing my response he’s like oh it looks like this chats been in active and shuts me down… ok so email…. Waited all weekend, i get a girl named Angelica Sunday night… she wants my cart order, and i sent her what James said and how dismissive he was, i sent her every single bit of information- ghosted! Because i asked for that promo to be honored, then today i get Tyla…. Shes like oh the 25 of 125 is for Abercrombie kids, and i get on there and NOTHING! Then she’s like oh there are sales site wide, im like i want to speak to your manager…. Wouldn’t let me speak to the manager, she’s like id love to honor the code for you but the site automatically does it…. Im like yeah sure. Thanks for your damn insight…. Considering your review on this site is a 1.4 maybe you guys should step your damn game up and help customers….your clothe are overpriced. Im kinda really pissed!

Terrible online srrvice

Dont bother online placed instore order said 3 days to shop then when placed said arriving 2 weeks later . Customer service number not working watsapp painful and generic but contrasting answers ..

Just dont bother tbf the clothese are decent but just shop instore . Ordered from next same items and recieved next day

Customer Service experience is a nightmare

I so rarely leave reviews like this but my experience contacting the A&F customer service inbox has been so frustrating.
It feels like they are almost deliberately unhelpful, a complete waste of everyone involved's time with AI-responses totally ignoring the actual questions and information provided by the customer.
At this point I don't even care that they couldn't help me with my issue, I'm just annoyed and disappointed by the total lack of professionalism or even competency I've experienced. I will definitely be steering clear of shopping with them going forward after this.

Horrible Customer Service and Zero Accountability

I am extremely disappointed with Abercrombie’s customer service and how they handled my recent issue. I ordered a dress for my daughter that was supposedly “delivered” on September 19, but I never received it.

When I first called, the representative was polite and said they would resend the dress since the package never arrived, and that I’d receive it in two days. When that didn’t happen, I called again only to be told that I now had to email customer service because “that department doesn’t take calls.”

After emailing, I received a response saying that their records show the package was delivered, and therefore they would not resend or refund my order. I asked them to contact their delivery company to find out where it was actually delivered because I did not receive it, but their final response was that, after “careful analysis,” they were unable to do anything further.

What’s worse is that I ended up finding out on my own that the package was delivered to the wrong address, one that has nothing to do with mine. It is in a completely different neighborhood. I even went to that house to try to retrieve it, but no one answered the door. It should not be my job to track down a package that was clearly misdelivered, nor should I have to put myself in an unsafe situation because of Abercrombie’s or their courier’s mistake.

This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with a company. Abercrombie has completely lost my trust. I will NEVER shop here again, and I would rather pay double somewhere else than deal with this level of indifference and incompetence again.

the most chaotic customer service

One of the most chaotic customer service I have ever had. I placed an online order to pickup at a local Abercrombie store. Two weeks still no arrival notification. So I reached the customer service via email for update. Took days for them to email me the package is lost on the way to the store. They apologized and offer an expedite shipping or cancel. I replied I would like to keep my order and yet no answers. I had to contact them via email again days later and got a response that I need to cancel the order and recorder and get back with the new order number ir oder to get the old price. I am so fed up with back and forth so I called the customer service and hardly understand the representative with heavy Indian accent. He was nice to reorder the item for me...hope I can finally receive my item.

Have been dealing with the Cheshire…

Have been dealing with the Cheshire Oaks store. I have nothing but praise for this store in fact 5 stars ⭐️.
Had an issue with some trousers which was dealt with in a professional manner and with a fabulous attitude.
All of the staff have been lovely and have gone out of the way to help me.
A pleasure buying from you .

I ordered a pair of jeans

I ordered a pair of jeans, and well, I didn't love them, so I went to process my return. The return isn't free, and you don't get the full refund that you paid for, only the amount of the actual product. I paid around $90 and only got back $51. The product was finally delivered to the facility 8 days ago, and I still haven't received a refund yet. So I contacted them, and it takes 10 business days to get a refund!!! At any other company I've ordered jeans from, I get the refund in a couple of days. It's been going on for 2 weeks now. I WILL NOT BE ORDERING AGAIN

da 13 gg cerco di farmi mandare l'etichetta per procedere al reso ma il servizio clienti non riesce a mandarla per problemi con il sistema (dicono).
intanto i giorni passano e i miei soldi vengono trattenuti inutilmente.
la merce (un paio di pantaloni) avevano una qualità scandalosa. non comprerò più da loro. inaffidabili

Deludente

Abercrombie è l'unico sito,che quando ordini, dopo qualche giorno ti arriva la mail di articoli esauriti e fin lì ci può stare...ma il problema viene dopo e cioe l'attesa per riavere i tuoi soldi.. se arrivano perché dopo 2 settimane sto ancora aspettando...Assurdo..nn mi beccate più

Terrible customer service …

I ordered a Buffalo bills sweater that was on pre order. The order went through fine but several weeks later I received an email stating there was an issue with my payment and it needed to be updated so I went to try and update my payment and it gave me an error message so I tried another card and same error message. I even called both banks to make sure they didn’t reject the charge and they confirmed they did not. I chatted with customer service several times. The first time they told me sometimes this happens and to wait two days then do it and it should work well it didn’t. Chatted again this time they told me they would escalate it to higher ups because they didn’t have an answer. I was concerned because it said if I didn’t update my payment in 72 hours it would be canceled which I did not want to happen. They assured me higher ups were taking care of it and it wouldn’t be canceled. Two days went by and no answer back from higher ups. I chatted again they assured me someone would be getting back to me and my order would not be canceled. Next day still no answer so I chatted again and was told I had to wait for them to get back to me and nothing they could do. I again stated I was worried they’d cancel my order because it still would not allow me to add the payment, I was dismissed and told just to wait for them to respond. I woke up the next morning to find my order canceled. I was furious so chatted with someone who did not answer any of my questions and just said there was an issue with my payment and the item was canceled and of course now completely sold out since it was a pre order which I ordered months in advance. She said sorry there’s nothing she could do, didn’t even offer me a credit or percentage off for all the trouble and the promises of a response and the canceling of my order at no fault of my own. Never have had this bad of customer service.

First time dealing with A&F, never again

First time dealing with A&F. Wish I read the reviews first. Ordered an item online. Discovered by chance the next day that the same item if ordered through their app was cheaper. Went onto their customer service chat. Long delays in responses, couldn’t seem to grasp the issue and then essentially said ‘too bad’ I should have ordered through the app. Will return the item once received on principle. Rather do without it than play their marketing games. Wouldn’t order from this Company again.
