Excellent quality of service
First class service and support from beginning to end. The moving team was very professional and they packed all furniture with care and everything arrived unscathed and on time. Special thanks to Jayne Eastick for her support throughout the moving process and to Peter D'Arcy for his assistance during the home survey. I am very pleased with Abels and I would highly recommend!

Efficient delivery of shipment
Arrival at appointed time. Efficient unloading and unpacking. Polite and well behaved staff.
We had to wait for almost one month for the shipment to be delivered to final destination. Arrived at Abels' warehouse on August 19 and and finally delivered on September 16.

A rug was laid in the hallway to protect the floorings. The boxes were moved carefully and stacked nicely.

Almost three times as expensive as the average quote we got for our removals. Not sure on the justification for the quote yet as they didn’t seem to be offering a more premium service than their competitors.

Professional but very expensive
Abels seemed very professional and efficient - but they quoted me 3 x times as much compared to what I actually got the job done for by another professional moving company.

Superb customer service
Superb customer service from both the Paul, Jade and the admin team in the office to the two teams who packed up and delivered all our household goods to our new home in France. Nothing was too much trouble and communications with everyone was quick and helpful. I would highly recommend Abals as a removal company.

Beware of their terms and conditions
Beware of their terms and conditions. A large screen TV arrived damaged and unrepairable due to very bad packaging, when I complained they quoted the terms that I had agreed to that, ‘ in any event, including on this occasion their own neglect,’ the maximum compensation per item is £40, but as a gesture of goodwill they paid £80. On a one thousand pound item!

Thank you for your review, I am sorry that there was damage to the TV which was packed to industry standard, export wrapped and placed within a heavy duty TV module. There was no outer damage to the TV module noted by the delivery team or yourselves at the time of delivery. You rejected the recommended marine insurance cover for your shipment. Again, I apologise that the TV was not working when you unpacked it in Thailand.

Stressless move
From the initial enquiry to the final move, Abels couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Nicky was amazing, supporting us throughout the process making it much less stressful.
Ian and Logan were brilliant on the move day, they couldn't have worked harder.
Overall a fantastic experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend Abels.

We moved house over 4 days at the…
We moved house over 4 days at the hottest time of the year. The crew were always smiling and courteous and worked very hard. They protected the house with carpets and blankets and removed all used packing materials at the end of each day.
They were exceptional , and we were really impressed with their courtesy and willingness to make the move as stress free as possible. Abel’s office team and crew fully deserve their 5 star rating. THANKYOU
