Unhappy

Purchased just 2 hoodies in the same colour and received 1 right and 1 wrong colour. 1 royal blue and 1 red which I didn't order.
The garments also smell damp/fusty
Really disappointed as these were supposed to be for an order for a customer.

They sent the wrong size

They sent the wrong size. Then you have to take time out to go to the post office to get a label printed to send it back. Will not be buying from them again.

Great website with exceptional service from Oliver…

Great website with not only a large selection of items, but also at incredible prices too.
I was delighted with my purchase and loved everything.
Just one pair of jeans too big and I emailed Oliver at 5poundstuff explaining how I was disabled and rarely go out. Obviously it is extremely difficult for me to get there and back to a post office when I neither drive or cannot go out alone.
He immediately emailed me back to say not to worry as they have issued a refund.
How rare these days to get a customer service member to go above and beyond
Superb service and a huge thank you to Oliver.

PLEASE AVOID!

PLEASE AVOID!

I purchased some clothing back back in September and only now has the issue been resolved.

Initially when processing my return, No return label was provided and all the information I was given was the return address so I paid £5.70 through Evri to get the package returned and upon arrival, the item was not accepted and it went to a Evri-store less than a 2 minute walk from the delivery address.

When I informed the company that this was the case, they told me they will not collect the item and I will have to either pick it up myself and deliver it or contact Evri and go from there.

Once I contacted Evri, they informed me where the parcel was located and it needed to be collected. I asked once again if this could be collected but they would not collect the parcel under any circumstances.

In the end (after 2 months) I still have not had a refund and my parcel has now gone missing according to Evri but I would guess it's still at that store.

If you are someone whom may return an item due to any reason, PLEASE AVOID 5POUNDSTUFF, THERE IS A REASON THEY ARE CHEAP!

Best avoided

Ordered a tracksuit and thermals, wish I hadn't. The thermals were way too small. If I had sized up from medium to extra large, I might have been able to get them on but that is debatable. The tracksuit wasn't quite as bad but I would still need to size up. There was nothing in the description to say these were not true to size. I was going to reorder in the larger sizes but seeing as Customer Services have told me that I would have to pay the return postal charges, I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

I was a first time buyer and I ordered…

I was a first time buyer and I ordered 4 white polo tops and two unfortunately come with marks on. I emailed the customer email address and received a response very quickly that asked if I wanted a replacement or a percentage refund. Due to an event they were being used for, I asked for the percentage refund and this was sorted straight away. Okay, there were issues, however the way the company dealt with it, Oliver particularly, to me, was very good! This is why I have given 5 stars for 5pound. I would purchase from them again!

NOT WHAT I ORDERED

My pack of ten t shirts was advertised as 10 different coloured shirts. I received a total of 5 colours and apart from 1 white one they were all colours not shown in your advert. Very unacceptable and unlikely to order again.

Don't buy from these it absolutely…

Don't buy from these it absolutely stinks bought two sets of shirts 17.99 each 1 set absolutely stunk house made me feel sick asked for refund no free returns policy cost me 2 postage and packing to get here and 8.39 to send back total postage 16.39 so only get half money back it's their fault shirts smell treated with chemicals

Didn't receive everything but poor quality anyway

The quality of the clothes was so bad that I couldn't even be bothered to complain when they sent me only 1 of 2 items ordered. Straight in the bin and obviously poor that they got the order wrong.
