Good service as always
Recently placed two orders for parts. They were shipped and received in two days so I could fix my machine and get back to espresso! The 1st-Line website had the accurate information for the parts I needed, and the combination of product support information, customer FAQS, and YouTube videos made it possible for me to diagnose my problem (actually had two parts wear out at around the same time). My only issue with the website is the inability to look up parts by number once I find them on the diagram. I had to scroll through all parts in the Lelit section. Not a big burden, but not the best use of the latest website technologies.
Great Customer Service and Great Machine
I ordered the Lelit Mara X on a Wednesday evening and the machine was delivered on Friday of that same week. I was very impressed with the packaging on the machine. While the machine was packaged unlike any other package I have received (in a good way), one of the nuts on the boiler came loose during shipping. So, when the machine was turned on, steam was coming out of the top. I was able to get on the phone with Jim and he walked me through how to resolve the issue!

The La pavoni arrived in excellent…
The La pavoni arrived in excellent shape and on time. Bought some Illy beans from the local grocery store to help dial in the grind and dose. It took almost the whole thing to do that. Then went to a local roaster and dialed in a grind. Adjusted the dose and now getting a decent espresso after a 20 minute warm-up. Still having some channelling issues but the final product is drinkable. No "god shot" as of yet but nice. Looks like the machine will be fun and I'll get there eventually.
Some things though:
The drip tray is plastic and really cheap use a bowl or cup to collect the residue.
Make sure you release the false pressure prior to the pull, use this to warm the cup.
The group head gets very hot after two espresso, so you are limited on consecutive drinks IMHO.
Drink the espresso and turn on the steam wand prior to removing the spent portofilter. Have not had the "sneeze".
