Unless you already have these items, it's definitely worth getting this set. In fact, for the cost, it's probably worth getting them anyway, because they are exactly what you need. Check the pdf as well for instructions, as well as YouTube videos.

Bought cables and cones together with tensioning kit and punch to remove existing pins. Used utube for fitting demo. Fitted fine and working well on a very old door. Really quick delivery.

Thank you Great Service

Verifierat

Worked, but could be a bit longer and a "snugger" fit.

Good kit, worth the money….

Needed the tool kit for henderson pre 1992 garage door, as I had to replace spindles, these are good quality and very simple to use, these are required to lock off tension on spring while working safely on door, also the can be used to add more tension on spring if needed too,

Verifierat

Perfect for safety. High quality kit. Real value for money. Many thanks!

Verifierat

Really made it easy to put tension back in the spring…

Verifierat

Great value and easy to use. The tensioning bars are minimal but do the job, and save me messing up a more expensive tool.

The rods were used to tighten the spring. They worked well but I had to use a small pipe on the rod as leverage as the spring got very tight. They could do with being longer or include one length of steel pipe to fit over as leverage

I didn't need the parts as I had a wierd spring with no holes in either the bar or tensioner but they looked to be solid and well made. I will find an alternative use for them.
