Second time we’ve ordered as the first was exceptional. Wowzabox is now our go to for Chinese food! No point using the Local takeaway when we use Wowzabox for great portions and epic taste every time!

Every dish was simple (5-20mins), ingredients arrived prepared and had been well thought out for ease especially with the videos to watch before starting. I lived in China for many and have been disappointed by restaurants/take aways since returning but these dishes were truly authentic with flavours of Sichuan, cumin and many more.

Amazing food with generous portions. Found the chongqing chicken hot pot to be too spicy for our family but tasted amazing. 1 pack would serve at least 4 people. The General Tso’s chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork were excellent, family favourites. The beef with black pepper sauce tasted good but the beef could have been more tender.

Rubbish not worth the money, cheaper in the supermarket

Very impressed. It's my first experience of WowzaBox thanks to an Instagram ad. Food is so delicious and easy to put together. Portions are good. It's authentically Chinese + reasonably priced. Just like eating out at a restaurant but without the cost! Perfect for midweek dinner as it's no fuss to cook. Highly recommended and I'd certainly be ordering again! 😊

Generally pretty good, good portions and good quality ingredients, however if you are cooking several meals for a large family or crowd it would be better to have a recipe card for each meal, as it was a bit of a pain keep having to swap screens on my phone which complicated it unessecarily.

Food was really delicious and, while it seemed a bit pricey once we'd added rice it was well under the cost of a takeaway. The kits had to be used within three days, and since we'd ordered three recipes it meant having to eat one per day so I wouldn't order too many in one go. The mongoloan lamb and sechunan beef hotpot in particular were great. I'll definitely be ordering again!

Portion sizes are fine. First meal video shows multi colour peppers, we just got green. Second meal a few spring onions but far too many nuts. More veg would be good in the meals. Tasty, but they didn't wow me. Would I buy again? Probably, but only last 3 days in fridge, so to make it worth while, have to buy 3 meals and eat three days running.

The box delivery was delayed and the box was broken, food was not as fresh as previous times, however, Wowzabox team has replied with a solution in a timelly manner. I would support business like this.

Easy to prepare, clear instructions, tasty food, good portions. Will definitely use again.

Fabulous, delicious, such good value for money. We expected it to be good but we were surprised just how good it was. My friends and myself will all be using wowza box again.

What does that imply to any average purchaser? - To us it meant that the food is cooked and requires heating only.

Not So. It is a box of raw ingredients that require cooking from scratch.
Our estimated value of the ingredients is about £10, based upon weight and type of ingredients. Definitely Not large portions, as described by them.
Cost was over £50 inc. £5 delivery.

If we wanted to cook a chinese meal then we are more than capable of doing so, without buying raw ingredients from Wowzabox. But we bought their product based upon - "No prep needed - just heat and eat." Ideal for arriving home after work and sitting down to dinner with minimum work.

The dishes we received require adding ingredients, Oil & Water and cooking for a considerable time.

In our view we have purchased supermarket ingredients at a grossly inflated price.

Added to that, we now have to go online and Print out the cooking procedure.

Not great, portion sizes are supposed to be for two people, they are not. No expiry or use by information provided. If you order the seafood expect to eat it the same day it arrives. Quality not great. I wont be using them again. And to top it all they call me to discuss the issue and then hang up on me when I didn’t agree with them, complete and utter clown show. Do not waste your money, you will end up throwing the food in the bin when it expires 2 days after delivery.

Wowzzars! Just finished our first WowzaBox and we have been blown away by the quality. The meat and prawns were exceptional and clearly sourced from the best suppliers. We were really impressed with how easy the dishes are to make and the speed at which restaurant grade meals can be served. The video instructions make everything so much easier. We can't wait to place our next order and can't quite believe what great value these meals are.

Tried wowzabox for the first time this weekend. Excellent dishes. We ordered four meals and had them over 2 days. Excellent quality. The video instructions were very helpful. Will be ordering again. Highly recommend.

Great experience, everything was fresh and easy to prepare, plus as authentic as it could get. Everybody enjoyed every dish, would definitely recommend.

Order 4 dishes , 3 of which were chicken. Unfortunately all 3 chicken dishes were chicken thigh meat. In our opinion 2 of the dishes would have been far nicer with chicken breast.
The instructions for cooking would have been nicer on cards we got a print with a general scan code for you tube videos and written instructions. The link to the YouTube videos is a general list of all dishes...it took an annoying search to find the correct dish. ( Maybe it would have been nice to have a bespoke scan code for the order)
The order was packed well in sturdy box and ice packs unfortunately the chicken and squid pack was found frozen when unpacked....due to being too close to the ice packs.
Overall the dishes were tasty but with the minimum delivery for free delivery at £50 and our issue with thigh meat it's unlikely we will reorder.
