I had the most amazing time in Peru with the most amazing and dedicated people. The staff were really welcoming and love all of the animals they care for. I worked within the veterinary clinic along side Edmundo the veterinarian and he was the most knowledgeable wildlife vet I’ve met.

I was looking for a trip to gain wildlife experience, and this was the best choice I could have made! I stayed in Bulawayo at the Free to be Wild Sanctuary and absolutely loved it. I was able to see so many different kinds of animals and connect with baboons!

I had the chance to be a part of the Kruger Vet Project last year, and it was a once in a life time experience. I learned so much with great veterinarians and discovered what it is to be a real wildlife vet. I gained a lot of experience, and for sure made memories that I will always cherish. The crew is AMAZING and always there for you.
What I loved the most was being able to work directly on all the different local wild animals and learn about them. It is definitely a project I recommend to anyone who has the opportunity to do it.

I haven’t been on one of the experiences yet, but I had such a good experience coordinating with Sarah! The zoom meeting was so enlightening and she even let me in on secrets about the trip! I highly recommend asking questions and not being afraid to go on the trips! Sarah is very knowledgeable and her all-encompassing answers reassure all your worries!

I went to Costa Rica and it was amazing! Natuwa Wildlife Sanctuary made me feel safe and Dr. Mora (the vet that lives on site) taught me many things in my stay! He is a talented veterinarian and knows what he is doing. It was a great experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I believe this is a great experience to do if you are looking to pursue a career in any type of animal care or even if you just love animals.

I have personally not been on one of their adventures but I am in awe of the wonderful and unselfish work they do with the animals around the world at their various sites.

I have yet to embark on any projects with Worldwide Vets, but I was absolutely blown away by their friendly and helpful service. Sarah at Worldwide Vets answered all of my questions and was more than willing to go the extra mile to help me with anything and everything I needed. Her reassurance and friendliness is enough to make me absolutely sure that this is a company I want to work with!

I just spend a month at the Peru Wildlife Internship at RAREC. It has been the most special experience in my veterinary student career so far. I got to work with a lot of different species for instance amazonian manatees, oncillas, sloths and many different monkeys. Bailey from Worldwide Vets was tremendously helpful during the organization and responded very quickly to all my questions.
Despite seeing and working with all these special animals I must say the best part was the team on sit, a lot of very knowledgable, kind, patient and inspiring people who built a great project there and put all their energy and can-do spirit toward helping and conserving these animals. It has been a privilege to accompany them for a while on their mission and I will draw strength from this inspiring experience for a long time.

I spent a month in Costa Rica undertaking the wildlife internship program and I loved every minute of it. My goal was to learn as much as I could about Central American wildlife to improve my ability to work with these species as a veterinarian and with that in mind it was worth every penny. The sanctuary is a very special place, the atmosphere is great and the vets are so knowledgeable and welcoming.

I have personally known Dr Gemma Campling for the past 15 years, since she first travelled South Africa. I have watched in awh as she has grown Worldwide Vets into the world renowned company that it is known for today. She has changed and improved the lives of many people and animals around the world, I couldn’t recommend her and Worldwide Vets more to those who want to travel the world, gain invaluable veterinary and working experience, and make a difference to those who need it most!

Sarah and Bailey, who I have met personally are wonderful ladies who are passionate professionals and will fit you onto the right project with honesty and good will.

I am a Masters degree candidate in “Shelter Medicine” with the University of Florida. I met Gemma just a few months ago through a series of “accidental coincidences” and just happened to be in a position to invite her to participate on a particularly challenging spay neuter campaign. Fortunately she had a gap in her schedule and was able to join us for the full two weeks. To say we could not have reached our level of success without her and WWV would be a gross understatement. Dr. Campling thrives on the unexpected roadblocks and clears the way with forward fortitude, sparkling charm and a wry sense of humor.
I cannot say enough good things about working closely with WWV on a size-able outreach project. Just reading the previous reviews brought tears to my eyes as I can relate to the feeling of joy, achievement, and challenge inspired by the level of professionalism and the breadth of animal welfare reach of WWV. Gemma brings a “can do attitude” and is an absolute pleasure to work with!

I have followed Worldwide Vets for 10 years now, and I just wanted to say what an outstanding organisation it really is. It has helped numerous charities working for animals around the world, and has always gone out of its way, above and beyond, to help those in need and deliver the highest possible service. Its reputation amongst volunteers speaks for itself. A genuine honest organisation who means everything it says.

It also ceases to amaze me at the complete range of animals that Worldwide Vets continues to help. From horses, dogs, cats, domestic pets, farm animals, wild animals, safari animals and even the wildlife all around us. There doesn’t seem to be a single living creature or animal that this organisation will ever turn away from.

Worldwide Vets also never shy’s away from going to where they are needed most in the world. They didn’t just help charities supporting the aid for Ukraine, they were there on the frontline themselves, bomb sirens going off, saving as many animals as they could.

Worldwide Vets was also part of the ‘biggest ever warzone rescue’ of lions in Ukraine. Again not just saying they are helping, but actually out there with the lions travelling to safety, saving their lives.

What a wonderful organisation Worldwide Vets really is. I will continue to follow them and look forward to hearing of the amazing work they continue to do working with other charities.

Worldwide Vets, are doing great job globally, they are participating with some other organizations helping the animals in particular country. Recently we had free spay neuter and rabies vaccine campaign to stray dogs and cats with Zanzibar Animal Care here in Zanzibar and we served 361 animals that's amazing. All this campaign was organized by Zanzibar Animal Care and Worldwide Vets. Highly recommending them. 😻🐕

My review for Dr Gemma Campling of Worldwide Vets, covers her efficient and empathetic treatments for my horses, based in Chipinge Zimbabwe. Dr Campling drove over 400km to my home on two occasions to treat my 5 horses for dental check up and corrective dental treatment. This was done with the least amount of stress for the horses, careful and considerate sedation where necessary.
She helped with checking their general health and gave advice on cellulitis, arthiritis and worming programs.
Since her last visit I have had several occasions to call upon her kind expertise over the telephone and what’s app. Without fail I have always received encouraging and useful advice that has backed up any other local vet care. In Zimbabwe our local rural vets don’t always have the up to date medicine/ dosage knowledge or knowledge of equine diseases, symptoms of illness and subsequent medical care.
Dr Campling is my first choice of vet to call in any situation whether for my dogs, horses or other wild birds or animals that cross my path. I know if she is in Zimbabwe I can rely on her service and knowledge, together we can make a plan to the benefit of my animals.

Our time at Natuwa was fantastic, with exposure to a range of exotic animals and veterinary experiences. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the Vet, Marvin, was incredibly patient and informative.

I just recently booked my trip for this summer on the Kruger Vet Project and so far, it has been a wonderful experience working with Sarah. She is so responsive and helps you with everything you need throughout the booking process. As a pre-vet student, I love that these programs provide so much opportunity to students looking to gain hands-on experience with exotic wildlife medicine. I am very excited for my trip and already am thrilled with how easy it has been to book with this company.

Great experience all the way through. The Worldwide Vets team is very organized and very helpful. We felt safe from the beginning to the end of our trip. We were prepared and update often about our trip and what we should expect! Their team is available if there are any issues and are very responsive to questions!

I recently volunteered at the Thailand Vet Clinic as a part of my EMS and I can easily recommend this to anyone who is considering. Signing up was effortless and Bailey answered any questions I had or put me in contact with someone who did. Throughout my two weeks I worked with the veterinary team to sterilise dogs and cats from packs in the area and any pets that were brought in; the vet working at the clinic was brilliant at building up my skills so by the end of the two weeks I felt comfortable doing feline and canine spays and neuters on my own. In addition, I got to learn about the local barriers to veterinary medicine and how they overcome them to ensure the best care possible to any animal that walks in the door. Aside from the medicine, the coordinators and staff in Thailand are friendly and will happily accommodate anything you need. The accommodation provided is often full of other volunteers from around the world doing a non-veterinary project at the same charity so there's always lots of company and various excursions set up on the weekends. I would definitely recommend this project and I am personally hoping to return in the future.
