Good concept overall
Good concept overall. Enjoyed the student conversation classes as well. However I gave 3 stars because it was hard booking teachers on fitted times. Not many times available for (for my level) for the student classes. Also there was a lot of problems when booking classes, showing availability but when trying to book the class “wasn’t available”. A bummer as I really enjoyed this platform and would have wanted to continue but wasn’t worth the price considering the issues.

Excellent program but understaffed.
WorldsAcross is definitely a premier program for students learning Español. The teachers are top-notch and the bonuses of group speaking classes are awesome. Their team is very responsive and they strive for excellence. That being said, it’s hard to find available classes a lot of the time and it is very expensive for the average student. I just switched to a group classes only plan which is very affordable at $399 per year for unlimited classes. I would join the full membership again if it was easier to find a tutor.

It Just Works
My coach, Sylvia, has been extremely helpful, the 1 on 1 classes have been excellent, and the group lessons have been great from both a learning and social aspect.
It is early on for me, but I am enjoying the WA approach and feel that I have already started to make progress.
The technical platform also functions very well and is well designed. I like the range of platform features and the ease of use.
Overall, It just works!

Please improve the response time
Please improve the response time. I purchased the gift for my tutor around the Christmas Holidays and heard nothing. I asked Luis if he had heard anything. Nothing. So then on 1/3/2026 i emailed asking for an update. They promptly responded and addressed the issue completely. All is good, and I am pleased to work with Juan at WA

The tutors are all wonderful. I am a beginner. This is my first time ever to speak Spanish. The tutors are all very kind and forgiving. I also like my coach Sylvia very much. They are all very supportive and encouraging.

Unfortunately the timing was off
Unfortunately, I think I started my free week at one of the worst possible times. There were very few classes available without looking out 4-5 days which stinks when you only have 1 free week. Even the group classes were few and far between. I felt my coach was distracted and hurried from some technical glitches and then took a while to get a plan from him. Just the whole thing seemed in disarray and of course they offered an incredible deal at that time that I didn't feel I could take advantage given how my free trial had gone.

WA Review
I've been using WA for a few weeks now. I have had good experiences with every tutor I've tried. Of course, some mesh well with me more than others, but the great thing about this platform is that there are tons of tutors to meet, so you will inevitably find somebody you click with. And I've never had a session that I would consider "bad".
My coach is fantastic and supportive, she actually seems to care about my Spanish learning journey. I've found 2 tutors in particular that I enjoy, and they are almost always available at my preferred timeslot.
I bought 6 months worth of the 10 lesson per month plan during a great sale, and I think it is well worth the cost.

Not What I Paid For Anymore
I am disappointed in some of the changes made recently that have fundamentally changed the service that I signed up for. Unlimited classes doesn’t feel like unlimited when I can only see a specific tutor 1 hour per day. That was not a condition when I signed up and if it was I may have reconsidered a long term commitment. It Is not sufficient time for complex grammar topics and I am now having to pay for external classes for grammar, greatly diminishing the usefulness of the platform. Unless the limit is raised to at least 2 hours, I will not be continuing after my prepaid subscription ends.
