I feel local culture. I experienced two volunteers these need to pay. So I didn't feel I was able to trip cheap. But these experience make me favorite countries in the world. I ate family foods and felt local life style. This was very fantastic for me.

They have great customer support around the clock
They have great customer support and are very knowledgeable and flexible to accommodate the needs of travelers and in case one trip is not available, they will help you by providing alternatives that would fit your needs. I recommend them very much as an excellent travel group.

world packers tried to delete previous review stating it contained illegal words !!! nothing in this review is illegal and is actual .
I am a host for world packers and have mixed feelings about the support
I am a host for world packers and have been for two years . I can share a bit about how it is - hosting .
overall its been a positive experience. - had so many wonderful volenteers and some great team feelings at work and home. That rather changed in July this year ,
what I will say however and I have been reading this in other places that volenteers get preferred treatment on the platform. - and as a business I dont feel very well protected which is strange as without us hosts - world packers dont have a business at all .
Over the last two years I have hosted all sorts of people but here and there some really challenging ones - like at least one that really had mental problems ( she would shower 6 times a day for example ) permanently be on FaceTime to her BF . very hard work. This year allot of kids and by that I mean 19 - 23 years old but really behave like kids . They dont clean up their living space . Dont recycle . always want to leave work early and just dont have any idea about life really - it's as if we are expected to be their MUMs also . it's very exhausting .
and then they are given this free licence to empty their emotions into a review !!! they dont necc understand the implications of doing that and work packers give zero support to them for doing that and if they dont give you high marks ? well you get warned as a business to do better !
its like we have to entertain them also !
In July this year we hosted a girl from DK who was I would say emotionally unstable . would react very strangely to normal things .
on day two she was invited to leave because it was really clear she wasnt right for our project . she decided to stay .
it was awful ... she spent all day on her phone, took 0 responsibility for anything . tried to get involved with as much drama as possible . lazy . aggressive at times .... refused to give us bank details to give her food money like everyone does .
on 3rd to last day we was told to leave . she crossed a red line and got involved with a very complicated difficult client . it was a red line .
she was angry she was told tp leave and then went online to try and hurt us as much as possible .
she made outrageous accusations suggesting all sorts of things . her review was removed and rightly so but of course she was given a second go which basically was the same .
world packers took little responsibility for it .
when you complain to world packers you are fed some AI default text back written for general use . no one awnsers the questions.
I am pretty sure their customer service team is also volenteers - no experience and not qualified to deal with serious complaints .
world packers will Likley loose me and my business now - I just dont feel the support and like they will act on things . God forbid someone has a really serious issue because I cant see them addressing it.
world packers favours volenteers and protects them which is really dangerous for others hosting. for example they gave this toxic girl TWO chances to write lies about our business but blocked us from writing about her . we cant warn anyone

Finca Ganadito: Lifelong Lessons in Eco-Tourism and Creating Community Abroad!
I've never experienced a sense of community, especially amongst a group of people I've never previously met, quite like the one Worldpackers has built via their Epic Trips initiative. This Costa Rica experience at Finca Ganadito in Drake Bay is TRULY something I will never personally forget. It was the perfect balance of educational, exhilarating, and just pure FUN!! I learned so much and had SUCH a phenomenal time doing it alongside the beautiful people both attending and hosting this trip. From swimming alongside manta rays, to horseback riding through the jungle, to eating the MOST delicious, homemade vegan food, to visiting a primary jungle just outside the property we were staying at, to starting the mornings off with reenergizing, sunlit yoga sessions, to practicing regenerative farming, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for opening my eyes to what sustainable, eco-tourism actually looks like and the real-life, positive impact these sorts of trips can have!

It's all modern slavery. They did not remove host who took drugs and abused and didn't buy food. Another host , was clear modern slavery and reported as such. I've petitioned parliament

I was just a tourist until World Packers!
World Packers is wonderful and has exceeded all of my expectations. My two volunteer assignments in Guatemala and Ecuador teaching English have been so thoroughly heartwarming that I need tissues when I left. I thought I was a traveler, but until World Packers, I was just a tourist. This has been one of the richest cultural experiences of my life really getting to know people in other countries and forging friendships I hope will last long after I leave. All this, plus I save so much money while I visit interesting places. It is a win/win scenario and very needed in this messy world. I have found new hope for humanity in these experiences. I look forward to using this platform A LOT in my future.
