For people who have lost their money or affected by WCOB, please DM me on Reddit(they dont allow me to leave my id here, but I posted similar things on Reddit). We have a sizeable group now and already reached out to many US firms specializing in IVF/Surrogacy field for next steps. The more people we have in the group, the higher chance we can nail WCOB down. They CAN NOT just walk away like this. The most recent update: WCOB deactivated all their email addresses. Does anyone have their contact information?

WCOB embryos created but no payment to clinic – any lawyer recommendations for group action?

I’m a UGC creator. This brand hired me again to create 5 videos where my children appear. Payment was supposed to be sent within 5 days after delivery.

I delivered everything on December 14, 2025. I followed up multiple times with no response. My lawyer has also tried contacting them and received no answer.

Today, February 18, I still haven’t been paid, yet they published the content anyway.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to other content creators.

L'agence ne fournit plus aucun service a la mère porteuse qui est laissée a l'abandon.
Notre argent a disparu.
L'agence ne sait nous donner d'autres réponses que "Nous avons un problème financier que nous sommes en train de régler. Merci pour votre patience".
Cela dure depuis maintenant plusieurs mois,sans action concrète de leur part.
Nous avons le sentiment d'avoir été totalement floués.

The surrogates in Mexico City are threatening to abort if they don’t get paid. WCOB has gone dark and not helping the intended parents or the surrogates.

Money that was paid to WCOB is gone. Hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Clinics in Mexico City have not been paid either.

If the surrogates abort the dead babies are on WCOB’s hands

They have rebranded to Lumera and in the past 24 hours deleted that site.

We strongly advise intended parents not to invest time or money with this surrogacy organization. We have been enrolled in their program for nearly 2 years during the time we were in contact with several representatives to name a few. Olga, Marina Yasinska and Daniel Epshtein.

Despite paying approximately half of the program fees, no service have been delivered and we are no longer receiving response to emails or follow-ups.
At this point we are struggling to recover our money. We are sharing this review to purely warn and protect other intended parents.
If anyone would like to reach out , please feel free to mention a short note and we are more than willing to share our genuine experience in detail.

I can’t speak for their other offices, but avoid the Mexico office at all costs. It is completely disorganized. The local staff are generally good people, but management and leadership are the real problem.

Intended parents are asked to pay large upfront fees directly into a U.S. bank account linked to the company’s U.S. entity. According to Mexico-based staff, they are not being paid from these funds. This alone is extremely concerning and may need investigation.

Halfway through the process, local staff suddenly announced changes to their roles. Shortly after, management sent a surprise email saying the company was “restructuring.” That was over three weeks ago. Since then, there has been no plan, no updates, and no responses to follow-up messages.

Given how much money is demanded upfront from intended parents, this lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable. Several of us are ready to coordinate and pursue legal action if this continues.

This is probably the most honest review you’ll see here. I worked for this agency for a short period of time, but it was enough for me to quit as soon as I could. The working environment was awful, their professionalism was zero. It was the most toxic workplace I’ve ever experienced. There was no organisation, not even the minimum respect for employees, especially coming from the “boss.” They don’t care about intended parents’ situations; they only want their money, no matter what. Their ethical standards are non-existent, they are scammers not only with their clients but also with their employees. This has been by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS AGENCY AT ALL, NOT EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY.

DO NOT SEND MONEY. This agency is either insolvent or fraudulent. In both cases, your money is not safe regardless, they are changing bank account regularly to evade controls ( i can prove it)

They provided only half the service but kept the full payment. I had to pay around $20,000 extra out of pocket because they failed to pay the surrogate, the clinic, leading to legal complications and extended stay in Mexico 3 months+

And the unfulfilled portion of the program amounts to $51,000 they acknowledged to owe me on December 16, 2025, per COO, which they tried to negotiate, but I only received promises.

The pattern: They start program but stop it midway (in my case, one birth instead of 2, and no support), or invent medical excuses (miscarriages/donor issues/surrogates issues, or other stalling tactics) once the money is collected

I need to warn future Parent, They are currently trying to recruit in Albania, Armenia, and Georgia, Ukraine, they closed in Mexico and Cyprus. They renamed their UK entity to MMACA Ltd. Please be careful as these new entities in these countries might run the same scheme

World Center of Baby is a scam. We paid nearly $60,000 for a surrogacy. They no longer have money to pay the clinics, abandoned the pregnancy follow-up, and did not provide the medications. We have to manage everything ourselves, directly with the providers. Despite their reassuring promises, nothing is under control. Never give a single cent to this company.

They made the surrogacy journey a nightmare. Half way through they stopped paying the surrogate mother, the clinic and employees. They still haven’t figured out their payment issues but write emails say everything is under control. This situation has been going on for the last 2 months. Do not sign with them. Even before this their behaviour was very unprofessional and they dragged out the process.
Don’t believe a word they say.

I’m happy to provide email communication and documents as prove for their behaviour and failure in providing services I paid for.

They are fraudsters.

Our experience with World Center of Baby (WCOB) has been extremely distressing and alarming. Communication eventually stopped completely, leaving us without any support during the most critical phase of an ongoing surrogacy process.

In our case, we were informed by parties directly involved that the clinic, medical staff, legal professionals, and the surrogate mother had not been paid. As a result, essential services and coordination broke down entirely, creating a highly risky and unstable situation shortly before the birth of our child.

The company now appears to be no longer operational in Mexico, and we have received no responses despite repeated attempts to contact them. We were forced to seek emergency legal assistance and handle complex medical and administrative matters on our own.

This situation has caused enormous emotional stress and financial damage. No intended parents should ever be put in such a position.

We strongly urge anyone considering WCOB to reconsider and seek independent verification and legal advice immediately. Based on our experience, relying on this company poses a serious risk.

We are fully prepared to substantiate our statements and provide verification through additional channels if requested.

About three years ago we decided to pursue surrogacy. Our son is now almost 6 months old. Like many couples we faced fertility challenges and our doctor suggested an alternative. Naturally we felt scared and confused as everything seemed complicated expensive and unclear. We were referred to surrogacy communities on Facebook and connected with open-minded people. During our research we discovered the option of surrogacy in Mexico. Of course we were hesitant to go abroad and needed to be certain. After many discussions and reviews we found the perfect match. World Center of Baby made this dream a reality and gave us the child we hoped for. Our first interview was with Cyril and we are grateful for his patience and willingness to answer all our questions. Special thanks also go to the country manager Ricardo who supported us and made this journey as safe and smooth as possible. Our baby boy was born this summer he is healthy and we are overjoyed. We could not have completed the surrogacy process without the support of our family. Our parents contributed greatly to our success. Thank you to everyone involved!

To elaborate, I have been briefly employed by this company and have seen it from the inside. It's a mess.
Staff turnover is rave, people are being mistreated, and management is unprofessional. There are a few decent people working there, but it's not enough to make a difference. It all feels very amateur. Unless you like a gamble, don't get involved. If you are considering entrusting them with possibly the most important decision of your life, think very carefully.
The company is having cash flow problems, so if you pay towards your process, I wouldn't be so sure that the money will go towards it. There are also suspicions of tax avoidance.
Also, be aware of many fake positive reviews about them.
Behind a glossy front, the things are rather rotting.

Elle a toujours été très présente pour nous, notamment grâce à la mise en place d’un groupe WhatsApp dédié, où elle répondait rapidement, avec précision, à chacune de nos questions — qu’il s’agisse de nos doutes, de points administratifs ou de questions plus personnelles.

Le groupe WhatsApp a également joué un rôle essentiel dans le suivi de la grossesse de la mère porteuse : nous avons pu suivre les visites mensuelles et trimestrielles grâce au partage de photos, ce qui a profondément humanisé le parcours et rendu l’attente plus sereine.

Dans la dernière phase de préparation, avant notre départ pour l’Ukraine, notre correspondante a continué d’être à nos côtés. Elle nous a guidés pour le voyage, a été présente le jour de la naissance, et nous a même rendu visite à deux reprises après l’arrivée de notre fils. Son soutien dans la constitution du dossier administratif a été déterminant.

Je recommande fortement la société WORLD CENTER OF BABY, j'ai été pris en charge dés le début par une coordinatrice. Toutes mes craintes et toutes mes questions ont été prises en compte.
En janvier 2025 je me suis rendu en Albanie, chaque étape m'a été détaillée, et le 30 juin 2025 la mère porteuse attendait mon bébé. Nous sommes maintenant à 6 mois de grossesse. La société WCOB est parfaite.

Our journey began a long time ago, with a deep desire to become dads one day.
