UPDATE AS OF MAY 15, 2025 Paypal has refused to reverse a sale for an item we didnt have in stock that
a customer tried to purchase and kept the $2840.00 that they took out of the sale that never happened. We have contacted out attorney and the state's attorney general about this and they said that Paypal has violated the first rule of digital transactions. We will be going after them in Superior court in repsonse to this.

A customer tried to buy an instrument from our store, it wasn't in stock yet he completed his end of the sale anyways, not knowing it wasn't in stock. We notified him that it wasn't in stock and told him and he asked to cancel the order. He paid for it through Paypal Credit because he could pay over time. I went and called Paypal Working Capital to tell them that the sale never went through because they deducted an amount that they deduct when you have a working capital loan. They flatly refused to cancel the transaction even though the transaction never completed and took that large amount of money out of the sale $2840.03. The sale was $4899.99 For a sale that never happened. That's theft in my book, they refused to reverse what had happened, agitating that customer now who now has filed a paypal dispute and you know what that does... they take the full amount out of your account again. Now I'm in the hole for double that amount. We are calling our attorney and massachusetts state law states that a sale has to be completed fully. They took our money for a sale that never happened. Spoke with 2 Supevisors and they flatly refused to reverse teh situation. That is theft in my book. 23 Years i was with paypal and they do this to a long standing customer that has had 13 Paypal loan builder loans with not even a missed payment ever. In a day where you have to retain every customer you can Paypal does this to the little guy. Filing a lawsuit as we speak

Bad experience guys, can you imagine account locked after i have deposited thousands? Thankfully recovery dome helped. So I ask, is it really worth it?

Had 2 working capital loans. Paid on time and paid off early. Went to apply again keep getting denied. Call to ask why and all I get there could numbers of reason why keep trying. This is not good customer service.
