But the property moved agents to Wise Living who where the complete opposite,
Months to fix basic problems, poor telephone interaction and now we've left, no effort to get my deposit back to me after 3 months.

I move into a house that wise living are the agent for. As soon as we moved in the oven and dishwasher didn't work. They clearly didn't check these before we moved in because they wouldn't turn out for us at all. It took two weeks to fix the oven and a month to fix the dishwasher. I also noticed the toilet was constantly running and sent them an email saying this will cost us on the water bill, so we need someone out. No reply for a whole month. I had to call up for someone to acknowledge it. Still no one has been out. I've had the water company email me and confirm we are using extra water because something is constantly on. Now the washing machine is broken and I asked for them to get someone round today as we need it. No one has been in touch and I've no idea how long it's going to take. It's just problem after problem, three of which should have been found before we even moved in.
I applied to rent a property with this company and completed a pre application check being self employed I got my yearly income incorrect, I notified them immediately, I offered to pay the full 12-Month contract in full which totalled £14,760, I offered to add a guarantor on to the tenancy which they state is perfectly acceptable in the welcome pack they send to you. However this "specific landlord" doesn't accept guarantors and wont allow you to pay the full rent up front. Which is just bizarre, I had a response from Ryan Russell the director who advised he doesn't care that his contract states one thing and doesn't want to allow me to even look at adding somebody else to the tenancy, He was just going to keep my deposit and refuses to refund this. Even though I can pay the full 12 month contract in full. They have declined me on the basis they do not think I can afford the 12-month contract, Which is funny considering I have evidenced i can just pay it all in one lump sum.
Just the usual cash grabbers, I have sent my complaint over to the Property redress scheme to try and recoup my deposit.
Save yourself the time, Just use somebody else.
