My recent interactions with Winefi and especially Joe & Matt have been first rate.
Winefi, a fintech wine and spirits investing platform, offers ways to gain exposure to wine and spirit returns that are normally only available to the UHNW clients. Easy to access / use platform / sales material, huge historic data set is used for their investment process and friendly, knowledgeable staff (Joe on Tequila & Matt on wine) take you though how the investments work, the risks and possible returns. Impressed, on the upside, with the professionalism of the team and the product they were representing.
Worth a look if you want this type of "Alternatives" exposure to compliment your other investments.

Great team and propositions

I’ve had a really positive experience with WineFi and particularly with Joe, who has been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and responsive throughout. I was especially interested to see them add tequila barrels to their offering — an interesting way to diversify beyond wine and whisky and gain exposure to a category that continues to grow in importance within the wider drinks market. Joe took plenty of time to explain the opportunity and answer all my questions. A very professional and enjoyable experience all round.

As part of a small group of friends wanting to invest in wine, we looked around at other offerings but it became clear that Winefi was the place for us, their transparent and clear aims made the decision. Callum and his team were brilliant at introducing us to the platform, and have been great to engage width, setting up calls and being on hand to answer queries. Their in depth analysis on the market and example portfolios curated specifically for the current market gave us huge confidence in our decision. This is a highly innovative new platform focussing on making fine wine investable as an alternative asset class. WineFi takes a very sophisticated, data-driven approach, looking to outperform benchmark indices for fine wine and they are applying a transparent and fair fee model to do so. Based on my personal experience so far, the team's communication is straightforward and easy to understand. I can certainly recommend them.
