Report this company to ACMA

I had problems trying to get my refund from this company after their products did not work for me either. From all the other complaints I have read, it seems like everyone else is having the same problem.

My advice is, if you are receiving marketing texts or emails from them, report them to ACMA as well as ACCC. ACMA will reach out to Facebook to shut down their FB page and they will not be able to run FB Meta Ads for their store.

Beware and don’t buy from this rude money hungry deceptive company !!!

Beware and don’t buy from this rude money hungry deceptive company and their damaging skin products, as it ruins your skin and causes more unsightly pigmentation and blemishes all over your face.

Trialed their Mela Peel and glow products for over two months, and it made my few pigmentation spots worse not better. The pigmentation is more aggressive and has started to show up and cover my cheeks and forehead, and showing in places I’ve never ever had pigmentation before.

The company shark tactics with trying to annoyingly overly trying to sell more of their expensive products every day to you, by constantly harassing you with e-mails and text messages about their sales and other products they want you to buy, and immediately after you’ve just made a purchase and haven’t even received or tried out and tested your first purchase in the mail.

They don’t want to admit any responsibility or liability for their products damage to my skin, as well, refused to provide a refund (even for the unopened never used products I purchased from them). They blocked all communication with me and told their staff not to reply to my e-mails, as they did not want to courteously or professionally manage this major issue and flaw with their products.

I have reported them and their products, to the ACCC for investigation !!!

Apalling Customer Service

I used the Brightening Kit religiously for the time recommended. I also used other products from this brand that were add-ons, post-purchase. None of the products delivered the results that the owner promises in her marketing videos. In fact, they made my skin lighter and my melasma darker. And even worse, when I went through the refunds & returns process, I was met with such aggression and hostility from the owner of this Brand. It's evident that they do everything they can to get out of refunding customers that did not see results with their products.

I lodged complaint to Dept Fair Trading …DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEM

I just made a complaint to Department of Fair Trading and calling ACCC to report them.

I sent back the products and they refused to collect from Post Office and they returned back to me.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING COMPANY - DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEM DON'T BUY PRODUCT - THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOU IF THERE IS AN ISSUE

Everyone needs to report to ACCC as they will only investigate the product safety if they receive a lot of complaints. You can call them on 1300 302 502 to report verbally or online.

We need to come together and take this company to court. The Consumer Business Services is the organisation in South Australia that help resolves consumer disputes. Their phone number is 131 882.

Next step is send me a message here so I have the number of people who want to proceed.

We need to bring this company to justice!

My skin reacted to these products. Even after slowly integrating them like recommended I was still not able to use them. There is also no offer for refunds if you have a reaction.

Poor Customer Service

These products didn’t work for me, I see that they did not work for other customers too. The disappointing thing for me was not that the products didn’t work for me, but the ignorance & lack of customer service from the Owner & her employees. Extremely Rude. And used aggressive tactics when I posted my 1-star reviews. Steer clear from buying anything from this company.

Warning: Severe reaction and lack of customer care

I want to share my experience with this product so others can be fully aware. I have a very strong history of having high-strength chemical peels, melasma treatments, laser treatments, and other high-active skincare products — my skin is extremely resilient and well-equipped to handle professional treatments.

However, after just 3 days of using the brightening kit, I suffered a severe reaction: swelling, burning, inflammation and welts across my entire face. This was not due to unprepared skin — my skin is highly experienced and capable.

I contacted the company and attached photos of my reaction, hoping for some support or guidance. Sadly, their response lacked empathy or genuine care. I was simply advised to spend more money on barrier creams and sprays from the chemist. Not one message offered an apology, acknowledged the pain and discomfort I was experiencing, or even showed basic human decency.

I asked if I could return the products, receive a refund, partial refund, voucher, or any form of goodwill gesture — absolutely nothing. The company’s approach shows a clear disregard for accountability and customer care. While I understand businesses have terms and conditions, there is also a level of basic compassion and kindness that should extend to someone suffering severe harm from a product. Unfortunately, this company did not demonstrate it.

Three different people from the company contacted me, the first two showed zero care, and only after I wrote a detailed email about the lack of empathy did a third team member show a smidgen of understanding. Even then, I had to push hard for that small acknowledgment.

As someone who has lived with pigmentation and acne struggles all my life, confidence and self-esteem are deeply affected by my skin. Outside of terms and conditions, a little human decency, compassion, or even a small gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way. This company failed entirely in that regard.

I strongly caution anyone considering this product, even experienced skin can react badly, and based on my experience, the company’s response if something goes wrong is extremely disappointing.

Please be very careful before using this product

She comes across so confident on TikTok. But don’t fall for it. I used her products for several months with absolutely no results. My sister, following her advice, used a lot of products for 10 months and saw absolutely no difference. Don’t buy it—it makes no difference and you won’t get your money back either. Then they say you used the right amount or another stupid excuse.

Do not buy from this company!

Read through the other negative reviews and you’ll see that their money back guarantee is a claim they’ll never follow through with and their products do not work as promised. In my case, their most gentle pumpkin enzyme facial peel caused broken, bright red, bumpy and burning skin for over a week, and when contacting their customer service team, in particular the extremely rude Vanessa, I was blamed and told that it was my skin’s reaction and therefore not their problem. I stated that I was scared to continue with the product but was told that if I didn’t use it as directed for 90 days I wouldn’t qualify for a refund. I’d be stupid to put this stuff on my face again, given that it still hasn’t fully healed from the first facial peel I did weeks ago. This company does not care about their customers. Just the money they’re making by selling you a lie. Do not throw your money away or believe their BS marketing ploys. You will be disappointed, out of pocket and left with worse skin than before.

Dishonest returns policy

Im feeling quite saddened after hearing about my mum’s experience buying from Windyigarn.

She had used the products regularly and consistently for over a month to try treat her melasma but did not see any results, so she went ahead with the returns process. She submitted her pictures, used the products for over the minimum of 30 days and returned the package, yet she is being refused a refund. They claimed that judging from the items she sent back, she ‘could not have been using them correctly due to the amount that was left in them’. This logic makes no sense as everyone’s pigmentation is a different size and I know she has truly given this product a good go and applied it exactly as instructed to.

This company has a very dishonest returns policy and manipulative way of communicating with customers, as she had followed all the steps but still was somehow refused a refund (for over $300 worth of products). My mum complied with all instructions yet they have just wasted her time and money. The customer service was very condescending too. This business practice is definitely against consumer laws. While my mum has given up disputing with the customer service and let them keep the money, all I can say is do not order from this company, the returns policy and customer service is non existent. Taking advantage of customers with fake policies and weaving your way around refunds with excuses is extremely disappointing

Dissatisfied- When I got to the cart to purchase 1…

When I got to the cart to purchase 1 pack , it had 2 Skin packs instead of one and it wasn’t until I paid that I realised . I emailed straight away to cancel 1 but was refused . Really poor customer service , this was my first time engaging with this company . I now have 2 packs and only needed one .very expensive mistake . Just disappointing service for what could have been an easy fix .

Don’t buy this!!!

I have $1200 worth of products. ZERO result and now I’ve been blocked on their page trying to warn people against buying it!! I’ll be taking this to the ACCC coz it’s just wrong

Edit.. since I can’t respond directly Bianka.. I’ll respond here. Yes when I finally found an alternate way to get in touch with you after I’ve been blocked from Facebook, I have been told I can get a refund. So for now, no I won’t take anything to the ACCC but when it seemed I was unable to even get in touch with you because you’d blocked me.. yes I was going to take it further.

I never actually said a single defamatory comment on your pages. Only facts which was that I had been using the products for a significant amount of time and not seeing the results you were. I disagreed with the “differences” you claim to see in my side by side photos but what was the point of continuing the conversation when it was becoming redundant. You saw things I didn’t. I look at my face everyday and can still assure you that for the monetary value you place on the products and the timeframe these supposed results can be achieved.. I was not seeing a difference and I felt I was wasting my time continuing, but I did none the less. Morning and night!!

I’m not the only person who was displeased with results but I’m wondering if they’ve also all been blocked for speaking the truth. I never said anything other than my own experiences with the products to provide a more realistic expectation for anyone also hesitant to spend such considerable amounts of money. I would think if you’re so certain of your products capabilities, total and complete transparency on reviews would be encouraged, not removed and blocked

You acknowledged in this conversation leaving misleading and defamatory comments, and it seemed like you understood why we blocked you from our socials. We do have a right to do this.

Leaving 20+ comments on our socials, on more than one occasion, that are not honest, stating that you've seen zero results, when the photos that you've sent us say different, is being misleading. We have tried to assist you every time you've reached out to us, despite how you've spoken to us.

We put your photos side by side so that you could genuinely compare the changes, and you disagreed, and that's fine. But leaving comments on our socials that we know are untrue, is not genuine or fair. Given that your refund is being processed, what would you be taking to the ACCC?

I had a very bad experience with this…

I had a very bad experience with this company & their products. To put it bluntly, the did not work for me. Now after looking at all the reviews on here, I can see I'm not the only one. I just wish I had read these reviews before I purchased the products. The product did not work for me so I requested a refund & was met with a customer service rep named Vanessa who took it upon herself to tell me "We don't have to offer a money back guarantee at all" So she's basically saying, we offer this 90-day money-back guarantee but we don't really honour it. They mislead their customers. And these are very expensive products too. BUT THEY DON'T EVEN WORK!

What an embarrassment to the this beautiful indigenous name.

Do BETTER Windyigarn. If not for anything else, then at least for your Indigenous heritage.

In relation to the e-mail you are talking about, our 90 day money back guarantee terms are: Use our products as directed for 90 consecutive days and if you see zero results, we will refund you. The issue that arises, is that some people, want to stretch out a 30-45 day supply and make it last for 90 days. We DO understand the thinking behind this.

However, we've stated in our directions to use x amount of pumps per particular product because we know that this is what works and delivers results.
