Windows were installed but the caulking…
Windows were installed but the caulking looks as if I did it myself and I’ve never caulked anything. The installer stated I had uneven brick and it was the best he could do but yet, prior to installation, this was never disclosed in anyway. Transparency was not practiced because had I known the finished product would look tacky and raggedy I would have passed. I’m still waiting for a call for someone to come back and fix but at this point, I’ve not been this unhappy and remorseful in years. And I had been so very excited for this project only to now feel bamboozled!

It took four times to install the window correct. 3 times they had to removed, and reordered. In between all those installs we had at least 10 service calls and all they did was band aid bad indtalls. This time they had to remove wood from all 11 windows reinstall and insulate. This crew was good. But the other experiences were sooo bad I can’t write a good review. A lot of missed work for all this headache.

Completely unhappy!
When the window in our spare bedroom was measured it was in correct by over 6 inches too short. This was found after the crew had taken out our window. So they put our original window back in with tape. A replacement was ordered for the correct size but when it was unboxed after almost 8 weeks of waiting it was found to have a defect so a replacement was ordered. It finally arrived almost 8 weeks later but it was sent with the original incorrect size of over 6 inches too narrow. So we are again waiting for a replacement window. The technician was also supposed to replace a screen that had a tear so I could use without bugs entering home on this visit. He decided to wait until next time. By then I won’t want my window open because there will be snow!

We regret to hear about the multiple issues with your spare bedroom window, from the incorrect measurements to the defective and wrongly sized replacements. We're also sorry the screen replacement was delayed. We appreciate your feedback and will review our processes to prevent similar issues in the future.
The new window looks good from the outside.
The casement window I ordered was delivered on time. It was installed quickly. It is too soon to tell how well it will perform.
The inside of ther window was not trimmed out. The foam isulation that was applied had to be cut to meet the plane of the wall. I had to modify the old moldings to make them fit, because the new window was slightly smaller than the old window it was replacing.

Svar från Window Nation - Chicago
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We're glad the casement window was delivered and installed promptly. We apologize that the trimming and molding required adjustments; we will use this feedback to better our teams and practices moving forward.
