Ordered a bespoke large gate from Winder that was delayed by the courier and had some problems as a result. Winder immediately replaced it and the new one has now been installed for a few months and is looking great and working well. Found them easy to do business with. Good quality for the money spent

First class company for service. Just received my garden gate and it exceeds my expectations. All joints perfect. Exceptional quality. No flaws in any way. Can't wait to see it fitted after it's been primed and painted with the recommended paints by Winder Joinery.

Bought a large side gate from these folk. Superb woodworking glad i found them, what a quality product. Price was very reasonable too. Also supplied relevant sikkens to go with it.

Excellent service from start to finish. I needed a bespoke gate and I choose the cottage style gate and WOW what a gate. The quality is fantastic and the service from Gary when I called was friendly very helpful I received my gate in 2 weeks and 3 days from Yorkshire. The gate is so chunky and robust brilliant quality. I also paid a little extra for my house number to be engraved into the top and it just looks so beautiful. They provided the base coat and top coat of varnish was also included in the costings I choose the light oak and I love it. Easy to hang and it's heavy and very sturdy

I recently ordered a garden gate and fence panel from Winder Joinery. While the carpenter unfortunately made an error with the initial gate dimensions, the way the company handled the situation was absolutely outstanding.
Having been a builder myself for 38 years, I know firsthand that mistakes can happen in this industry. What separates a mediocre business from an excellent one is how they rectify those mistakes. I contacted Winder joinery and they sorted the issue out with absolutely no fuss. They promptly organised the pickup of the incorrect item and the re-delivery of the new one, remaining friendly and professional throughout.
The sales team was exceptional, and the owner of the company was incredibly pleasant and professional to deal with. Most importantly, when the final gate arrived, the quality of the craftsmanship was superb.
It is rare to see this level of dedication to customer care. I highly recommend Wi der Joinery for both the quality of their work and their brilliant customer service.

Would just like to say a big thanks to this company. We’re so pleased with the two garden gates we ordered from Winder. Gary was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. The order was a few days late but it didn’t matter in the slightest and we were advised in plenty of time. The option to have the width of the gates custom made to the millimetre was incredibly useful. When the gates arrived, it was very clear they were quality items. Solid, heavy, straight, very well made and finished, well protected for delivery and the correct size. They are now mounted either side of the house and look tremendous. I’m so glad I found this company. Yes, I could have got them cheaper but with a significant drop in quality, looks and I would have had to saw or plane a few inches from the width of each gate as the gap seems to be awkwardly in-between regular sizes. I have absolutely no doubt they’ll last for years if painted every now and then. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

From the very first contact to the delivery of our stunning new garden gate- the customer service provided by Winder joinery was simply exceptional . When our gate arrived it is an understatement to say that we were absolutely delighted by the quality, design and level of craftsmanship that had clearly gone into producing our gate. We decided to have our house name engraved on the gate and that actually took the design of the gate to another level. I would also highly recommend the wood treatment supplied by Winder Joinery. The delivery process took a long time and I had to chase my order which I think had been forgotten but it was rectified quickly and the quality of the workmanship more than made up for the minor issue. Great company. Thank you

I am blown away with the quality of the gate from Winder joinery. It looks exactly as depicted on the website. I chose to have lettering which finishes the gate off beautifully. The instructions for fitting it were straightforward. In fact, the whole process and the standard of customer service was exceptional. The gate arrived a week late because of the volume of orders they were coping with, but they were very apologetic. I wouldn’t let this put you off because if you order a gate from this company, I’m sure you will be as delighted as I am.

Fabulous gate, so well made with a lovely finish, very solid and clearly made to last for years. Delivery was as expected, well packaged. Great to receive an item hand made in the UK. Highly recommend.
